A couple things. (Ban and FaceBook)

I have been off of YCM for over a year now, and most of the reason has to do with my one-month ban.

 

Anyone remember Dizzy~, the awesome guy?

 

Well, I had got banned for "spamming" and was blocked for a month. However, a month later when I got back on, the site still blocked me. I believe this was because the server switch occurred during my ban. This also happened to Dizzy~, when he was given a month ban for his brother's spam in the Video Games section, which, admittedly, I found hilarious. But that's off of topic.

 

Also, It's probably been said before, but the rest of the reason was because, I think I speak for a lot of us, but the old server made YCM approximately 9,000.01 times better than it is now. We have FaceBook for FaceBook, which is how I see the new YCM. Many members quit with the server change, and some of those were pretty popular. Of course, if they're returned since, I wouldn't know.

 

If this started anything, or if the rules have updated since I've been gone and I just accidentally broke one, feel free to delete.

There's always complaints whenever a server or formatting changed. Most people just adapt to it and life goes on. It's extremely unlikely we'd switch back. Besides, it's been like this for months.

 

As a thought, if you run across that type of problem with a ban, you should be able to contact a mod or something. Not really familiar with how bans affect access.

No, because he wasn't an awesome guy.

 

As far as I can see, he's not banned, and he wasn't banned prior to me checking.

 

On an unrelated note, if you have any complaints about bans, send them to the mod that issued them or pretty much any mod and they'll look into it.
