Greiga
Paranoia is broken. Make it target only 1 monster, because OTKs are not that fun. Same with Vessel. Link to comment
Lonk
Because Giant Killer is so easy to summon in Gimmick Puppets. Besides, if you rely on drawing a Gimmick Puppet just to OTK, then that would be pretty sad (you know, unless if you were an anime character). Link to comment
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Just watched this episode.
Gimmick Puppet - Paranoia Level 4 DARK Machine/Effect ATK/1000 DEF/1000 Once per turn: Send 1 "Puppet" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard and draw 1 card. If that card is a "Gimmick Puppet" monster; The Level of this monster becomes Level 8 and all of your opponent's monsters are treated as Xyz Monsters until the End Phase. Hmm, Babyface gains nothing going to grave that way, but at the end of the day a -0 summon is always handy. Something doesn't sit with me about the Xyz treating thing though. There's nothing technically OPd/UPd about it, I just don't... like it. Maybe because its just too conveniant, or maybe because changing monsters category feels like an awkward effect. Gimmick Puppet - The Executed Level 3 LIGHT Fairy/Effect ATK/500 DEF/500 When this card is Summoned: Destroy it. While this card is in your Graveyard; When your opponent Special Summons a monster: Banish this card and destroy that monster. Have to 'waste' your summon, and opponent can get round unless they're stupid. Gimmick Puppet - Clown Level 8 DARK Machine/Effect ATK/0 DEF/0 This card can be Normal Summoned without any Tributes. When this card is Normal Summoned: Destroy the monster on the field with the lowest Level. Then, draw 1 card. If that card is a "Gimmick Puppet" monster; Special Summon it. Somehow gets the feeling the old 'if you control no monsters' should go here, or something. Feels like it has one effect too many. Gimmick Puppet - Mutilater Rank 4 DARK Machine/Effect ATK/1000 DEF/1000 2 Level 4 Monsters You can detach 1 material and select 1 Xyz Monster your opponent controls. When that monster is removed from the field: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK. Meh, does what it does for a potential OTK. Gimmick Vessel Continuous Spell Card This card cannot be destroyed. When a "Gimmick Puppet" monster is destroyed: Place 1 Gimmick Counter on this card. Then, you can Special Summon this card from your Spell & Trap Card Zone as an Effect Monster (Level ?/LIGHT/Machine/ATK 0/DEF 0). This card's Level is equal to the number of Gimmick Counters on this card. If this card is overlayed for an Xyz Summon: All monsters your opponent controls and summons until the End Phase of your next turn are treated as Xyz Monsters. Spell monsters, uncomfortable. Why not just send this to graveyard to summon a Gimmick from your Deck like Chaos Zone kinda does? Broken Puppet Normal Spell Card Destroy 1 "Gimmick Puppet" monster you control and select 1 monster your opponent controls. That monster is treated as though it destroyed the destroyed monster by battle. Fine Maniacal Puppet Rampage Normal Trap Card Select 1 "Gimmick Puppet" monster you control. Lonk
1. It's a plot device for Giant Killer. Hence, it is the gimmick part of the monster. 2. Thanks. Notice how it can work with Paranoia. 3. Maybe I should do that. 4. True. It is something just to double up on damage. 5. The effect would actually be more like something IV would use, wouldn't you agree? 6. Yep 7. Yep Link to comment
Toffee.
Paranoia is just lulz. Its a walking Foolish Burial for an archetype that just-so-happens to run both DARK and LIGHT monsters. Speaking of that, you could include like 1 or 2 Gimmick Puppets with Chaos-like effects, just for easier Giant Killer plays. I mean Luster is a level 8 already, and would likely be included in a deck with these. So why not? Link to comment
Lonk
I could do so, couldn't I? Any suggestions for that Armz? Link to comment
