Communityreborn
I've had a long debate with my friend wether or not "Cartoon" would count as a toon monster. After I finally won, this Archtype was born. This archtype focuses simply on swarming and toolboxing so that you can summon Rank 3 XYZ monsters as soon as possible. More Wind-up Zenmaines? Yes, please. Monsters: Cartoon Marksman -EARTH- Lvl3 [Warrior] When this card is Summoned, add one "Cartoon" card from your deck to your hand. 1400ATK / 700DEF Cartoon Swordsman -EARTH- Lvl3 [Warrior] When this card is Summoned, add one "Cartoon" monster from your Graveyard to your hand. 1600ATK / 800DEF Cartoon Fiend -DARK- Lvl3 [Fiend] When this card is Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Cartoon" monster from your hand. You can only gain this effect once per turn. 1300ATK / 650DEF Cartoon Skully -DARK- Lvl3 [Zombie] When this card is Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Cartoon" monster from your Graveyard, except "Cartoon Skully". Its effect(s) are negated. 1200ATK / 600DEF Cartoon Cloner -EARTH- Lvl3 [Warrior] When this card is Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Cartoon" monster from your Deck during your next Standby Phase. 1000ATK / 1000DEF Cartoon Pyro -FIRE- Lvl3 [Pyro] You can tribute this card and another "Cartoon" monster you control to send two cards your opponent controls to the Graveyard. 1100ATK / 550DEF Cartoon Dash-Man -EARTH- Lvl3 [Warrior] When this card is summoned, draw 1 card. You must control another face-up "Cartoon" monster to activate this effect. 0ATK / 0DEF Cartoon Knight -EARTH- Lvl4 [Warrior] When this card is used as an XYZ material monster, you can treat this card as a Level 3 monster. If you do, draw 1 card during the End Phase. You can only gain this effect once per turn. 1900ATK / 1200DEF XYZ Monsters: Cartoon Hybrid -EARTH- Rank 3 [Warrior] 2 LV 3 Monsters This card can attack twice during each Battle Phase. 2000ATK / 1000DEF Cartoon Hybrid #2 -EARTH- Rank 3 [Warrior] 2 LV 3 Monsters This card inflics piercing damage to your opponent. 2100ATK / 1000DEF Cartoon Android -EARTH- Rank 3 [Machine] 3 LV 3 "Cartoon" Monsters This card cannot be banished. Once per turn, you can remove one of this card's overlay units to destroy one spell or trap card on the field. Only once, you can negate the effect of a spell or trap card that would target this card by removing one of its overlay units and banishing one "Cartoon" monster in your graveyard. 2500ATK / 1300DEF Cartoon Giga-Man -EARTH- Rank 3 [Warrior] 3 LV 3 "Cartoon" Monsters This card cannot be returned to the hand or deck. Once per turn, you can remove one of this card's overlay units to select one monster your opponent controls; return it to the hand. Only once, you can negate the effect of an effect monster's effect that would target this card by removing one of its overlay units and banishing one "Cartoon" monster in your graveyard. 2500ATK / 1300DEF Cartoon Skullmaster -DARK- Rank 3 [Warrior] 3 LV 3 "Cartoon" Monsters This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. Once per turn, you can remove one of this card's overlay units to Special Summon 1 "Cartoon" monster from your Graveyard or hand. That monster cannot be used as an XYZ material monster. Only once, you can negate the effect of a card that would destroy a card(s) by removing one of this card's overlay units and banishing one "Cartoon" monster in your graveyard. 2600ATK / 1300DEF Spells: Cartoon City (Field Spell Card) All "Cartoon" monsters gain 300 ATK and DEF. Once per turn, you can detach all the overlay units of a face-up XYZ monster you control. Other face-up "Cartoon" monsters gain 300 ATK for each overlay unit removed, until the End Phase. Ascension of Ronin (Normal Spell Card) Tribute one face-up "Cartoon Swordsman" and another face-up "Cartoon" monster you control. Destroy all cards your opponent controls. The Next Page (Quick-Play Spell Card) Tribute one "Cartoon" monster you control. Skip your opponent's next Draw Phase. Erase (Counter Trap Card) When your opponent Summons a monster, you can banish one face-up "Cartoon" monster you control to negate the summon, and destroy the monster. Sketch (Trap Card) Special Summon 1 "Cartoon" monster from your Deck. Related Cards in the archtype: Skully's Revenge (Counter Trap Card) If your opponent would Summon a monster(s) from the Graveyard, remove an overlay unit from a face-up XYZ monster you control; negate the summon, and destroy the monster(s). Fiendish Tricks (Counter Trap Card) If your opponent would activate the effect of a monster from their hand, remove an overlay unit from a face-up XYZ monster you control; negate the effect, and destroy the monster. Quest Zero
Cool idea, but your XYZ are too strong. One can end the duel in 2 turns, another is like a Ancient Gear Golem with Monarch abilities, and the other is a living Solemn Judgement, and cards as spammable as these shouldn't be that strong. The effects aren't bad, but removing one of it's effects could work. Link to comment

I tried to edit the effects so that each of the 3 LV 3s becomes a one-off, and essentially hinders you a bit by losing a graveyard resource. As for Hybrid, I've debated against wether it should remove its overlays or not. Keeping its overlays would be better, seeing that it would limit the amount of graveyard revival via Skully and Swordsman. I will keep Hybrid with its effect, since 2000 is pretty easy to run over, but can be devasting in the early game. Link to comment
Greiga
Balanced as hell, very straightforward. Good job. 9/10 Add this to Fiend and Knigt: "You can only gain this effect once per turn." Make Skully negate te effect of it's target, and make it so he's like a Call of the Haunted, that when he leaves the field destroy the monster. Link to comment

Including a new XYZ monster and Spell and Trap card support. Link to comment
