Announced in 2012 means released in Japan in 2012 in the Fall, meaning it'll be released in America in the Spring of 2013, which is TOO DAMN LONG. [/quote] HG and SS contained all new content from Crystal, so the Ruby and Sapphire remakes will probably contain a lot of the junk in Emerald. One of the main developers said on Twitter within the past half-year in response to a fan clamoring for an RSE remake that RS meant a lot to him. 2012 is the 10th year anniversary of generation 3 in Japan. Maybe we'll get all three in the same year? I want to know if they'll remake FireRed and LeafGreen. I doubt that's the announcement will be for, but I'm still curious. Although it will be interesting to figure out what console it will be for. I don't mind if it's the 3DS since I will be getting one long before the game comes out in U.S.,but I'm sure there are people who want it to come out for the DS.
