Idk where the heck the main thread went.

But: "The new CoroCoro issue, released this week, has announced that a brand new Pokémon game is to be revealed. However, unlike people expect, this reveal isn't coming at Jump Festa but is in fact coming in the issue of CoroCoro next month, due out on January 14th 2012 in what they call a world first shocking announcement."

Enough with the offspins, give us our godamn R/S remake.

I thought they flat out denied those rumors. Could be though.

This sucks.

Announced in 2012 means released in Japan in 2012 in the Fall, meaning it'll be released in America in the Spring of 2013, which is TOO DAMN LONG.

Yeah right. xD

A game that old?

I would much prefer the Emerald remake.

HG and SS contained all new content from Crystal, so the Ruby and Sapphire remakes will probably contain a lot of the junk in Emerald.

Anyway, I'm gonna kill someone if it's Grey and we have to wait even longer for the remakes.

Guys. Think about it.

One of the main developers said on Twitter within the past half-year in response to a fan clamoring for an RSE remake that RS meant a lot to him.

2012 is the 10th year anniversary of generation 3 in Japan.

FireRed, LeafGreen, HeartGold and SoulSilver were released at the 10-year point.

It's so obviously 3rd gen remakes it's not even funny.
No one bothers to remember that the 3DS has a mic and the 3DS can hold the graphics well enough to play "Hey You Pikachu"?
Having played Spirit Tracks on both the DS Lite and the 3DS, I can safely say that I prefer the DS microphone over the 3DS'. You're obviously joking though, and everyone knows that Snap was the better game.

But before Gray? That seems rather odd. Maybe we'll get all three in the same year?

I want to know if they'll remake FireRed and LeafGreen. I doubt that's the announcement will be for, but I'm still curious.

Like Burnspy said, they're probably gonna follow the pattern and it will be RS remakes. Although it will be interesting to figure out what console it will be for. I don't mind if it's the 3DS since I will be getting one long before the game comes out in U.S.,but I'm sure there are people who want it to come out for the DS.
