Replace the Deck Request thread with a Deck Archive.

Pretty simple. You basically have a section for each decktype and a link to a wide variety of decks. Whenever a member wants a deck added they just post a link to their thread with the deck in it and the OP gets updated.

The Deck Request is essentially a thread of requests but no replies and has been that way for what, nearly a month? This is a more practical solution than having to wait on a reply to the thread that includes a profile for weeks and eventually finding it's for someone else's request.

I think this should happen.

Exactly my point. On the very rare occasion a deck gets posted but normally no. Instead we would compile a completely new list of decks which would give people a lot of variety and if they deck they wanted isnt there then there is probably no YCMer who has a good build and so it is up to them to make one.

I was thinking something similar except it would be even easier because OP just has links to decks other people post. You will end up with more than 1 version of each deck and the person who wants to try it out gets tons of versions to test.

Well, I honestly like the idea of community altogether working on a deck, but might be just me.

So, what you're essentially saying is that you'd post the deck in "Your Deck", submit it to the OP and they'd add the topic link?

It's a good idea, but then the thread get's really cluttered because different people might be working on different things.

@ Icemare: basically yes. It becomes sort of like the search bar except that everything is in one thread.

Oh I see well that is good but then comes the problem of how long it would take. Ideally the list becomes quite extensive in a short period of time.

Everything can be organized to be rather quick, I mean, it all depends on community though. So, gonna remake, ok?

Someone would have to update each deck with each new banlist and new releases. We originally had a deck archive, but we closed it and made the Deck Request thread. It's still stickied, btw.

Why not combine them? People make requests, person posts deck, TC (or even the mod) adds deck to OP. When the format changes, section makes necessary changes to existing decks to make it legal.
