I never got The Minish Cap, so I'm glad it's on the list. I've become more of a Kirby fan since Epic Yarn, so I look forward to Amazing Mirror. I'm sure Fire Emblem fans will be happy to see The Sacred Stones on the list.

Although this list is exclusive to Japan right now, it should hopefully remain mostly the same for other territories.

GBA:
Fire Emblem
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (The one that's on here)

Gamecube:
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

Wii:
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Sequel to PoR)

DS:
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon

All of those are international, and fairly easy to get your hands on. Bolded the ones that are best, IMO.

OT: DO WANT

So, I haven't owned any of those 10 games, but I'll be ecstatic to play them. I hate to say it, but I didn't get as much enjoyment out of the NES games as I thought.

But all 20 games together is definitely worth the extra $80.

1-1 -> 1-2 -> 4-1 -> 4-2 -> 8-1 -> 8-2
hooray for warp zones!

It's a war campaign with a deeper plot. Sacred Stones has a good deal of monsters, but, as a whole, it's not about monsters. Just midieval era. Sorta like Chess but really advanced.

I've just been playing the original The Legend of Zelda, and it's fun. I've avoided playing Adventure of Link until I beat the first game, but I have not wanted to play any of the NES games as much as Zelda, and that's why I was hoping the GBA games would be more enticing, and because of the list, I'd say that the Ambassador Program was a success.

I bought the original LoZ for the Wii Virtual Console before last summer

Mom and sis kept playing it over and over, until they beat it three times in a week x.x

But the new list for this program is amazing.

The Fire Emblem games are turn-based strategy games with RPG elements. They're special from others of the same genre is that your entire force is made up of actual characters with personalities and backstories (which are expanded upon as the story progresses) instead of faceless, nameless, spawnable troops. Also, if a character dies, that's it. Unless they're important to the story, in which case they're just "injured" for the rest of the game and only show up in cutscenes, they're dead and gone for good.

They always feature one or more "Lord" characters as the main protagonists, some of the most well-known being Marth, Roy, Ike, and Lyn.

They're f#cking awesome.

Ike and Micaiah say hi. They're still the "Lord" characters, just they don't have the in-game class name (thus the quotation marks in my posts).

Well, I'm terribad at F-Zero. XD

I'm not sure if you know about the tap trick yet, but simply put, you let go of the accelerator and push it immediately after letting go and repeat this process, but for tighter turns (like tight 180 turns and such), hit the brake a bit before. I remember using this on the old F-Zero and I tried it here. Works good.
