Diclonius - Lucy

Can only be Tribute Summoned by Tributing 1 Psychic-type monster you control. This card inflicts Piercing Battle Damage. When this card battles a face-up Attack position monster: banish that monster after damage calculation. When this card is removed from the field: Special Summon 1 "Nyu" from your hand or Deck. During the End Phase of the turn that 2 or more monsters you control were destroyed by battle: Banish this face-up card you control; Special Summon 1 "Elf of the Final Song" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

When this card is banished while you control a face-up "Diclonius - Lucy" monster: Banish all cards on the field; Special Summon 1 "Elf of the Final Song" from your hand or Deck.

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Diclonius - Lucy" or "Kouta". When this card is Summoned: Place 2 Verse Counters on it. During your Standby Phase: Remove 1 Verse Counter from this card or banish this face-up card you control. This card can attack your opponent directly. Any Battle Damage this card inflicts to your opponent becomes 2500. You can Tribute 1 monster you control, except "Kouta"; Negate the activation of an opponent's Spell/Trap card or Effect monster's effect and destroy it. Other face-up LIGHT Psychic-type monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. This card cannot be used in the Fusion Summon of a Fusion monster, and cannot be Tributed.

[b]Alright, my first assumption was that this card was completely OPed, and it might just be so with that banishment effect whenever it battles a face-up ATK monster. Of course, I'm not exactly sure if that doesn't follow the "Mist Valley Soldier" rulings, whereas, that effect is useless. There's an obvious cycle here with this card and Nyu. The final effect isn't something I think many people would worry about, after all, if this card is on the field, you can bet that it is this card, and no other, will have been destroyed by battle.[/b]

[b]Well there's an easy way to own your opponent, I wouldn't have a problem with the banishing effect if it didn't also bring out Diclonius - Lucy as well... at least it misses the timing.[/b]

[b]I think you should have to tribute the "Nyu" when this card is attacked and force the opponent to attack that. Ah, also, I can see the combo you have with Nyu, though I think that banishing all cards on the field is a bit OPed, especially if Elf of the Final Song is as OPed as I assume it'll be.[/b]

[b]This one's a spoiler, right? ANYWAY... That first effect would make it used in many other places besides a deck based around these cards. The last effect is UPed, but fine, as idk if it might get a bit OPed if you allotted the deck as well.[/b]

[b]Yea, my suspicions have been confirmed. There's no specific place to start on how OPed it is. Maybe it's that it can attack directly... maybe that any damage, even if it would be 100 damage, is automatically 2500. Maybe it's that it can negate the effects of Spell, Traps, and Monster Effects. Maybe it's that no other Psychic monsters can be destroyed, or maybe it's just that you specifically made it in-super-polyable... yea, think through this some more. At least it only lasts for 3 turns and is sort of tough to bring out (not really though, and after 3 turns of this, you should have won)[/b]
