ragnarok1945
basically without music it just feels TOO eerie
Makο
No, not exactly eerie, but just...empty.
ragnarok1945
maybe, I guess it depends on which general you face in the general challenge (that's the ONLY time I tried without music, never the campaign itself)
Makο
I rarely play the general challenge. :I
ragnarok1945
I play that more, beaten it with every general
Makο
Cool. Beat the US campaign today. Did the last level by building a 3 Patriot and 3 Gatling Turret defense at both the US and China base, built the super weapons for the respective factions, then Level 3 A10'd, Fuel Air Bombed, Particle Uplink Cannoned, and Nuked the enemy till they were weak, then used 5 Overlord tanks (1 Prop, 4 Gatling) to Steamroll over what was left. Yay for overkill!
ragnarok1945
that reminds me since the last level you get both US AND China's army, which do you use more?
Makο
I didn't really use any one more than the other. I was just camping out, waiting for each Superweapon and the other things, then built the group of overlords. "I am...big..."
ragnarok1945
Nice. Me, I mainly just built overlords, along with the Particle Cannon saw no need for BOTH superweapons
Makο
There is ALWAYS a need for both super weapons. OVERKILL! GO BIG OR GO HOME.
ragnarok1945
you ever built ALL THREE super weapons before?
Makο
Why build it when you can STEAL it? =DDD
ragnarok1945
let's just say when you're dealing with human opponents, they tend to have countermeasures
Makο
*Steam rolls over enemy base* *Leaves their super weapon unscathed* >=D
ragnarok1945
I said HUMAN opponent. It's not that easy to steamroll over a guy's base like that. This is why I never use USA ground forces for the steamrolling
Makο
It's easy to steam roll when you use MY tactics. Tactical maneuvering, mah boi
ragnarok1945
fine then, what's YOUR tactic? And be SPECIFIC on it
Makο
Operation: Confuse the s*** out of your opponent This tactic is best done using GLA. SEVERAL FRIKKIN BASES. There is no more explanation. ...Fine, I'll give more. Using this, you'll want to construct a few bases, few and far between, to use as distractions for a base (not your original) that you'll be producing your main forces at. Also, the bomb truck things. Disguise them as the enemy your targeting and drive a whole bunch of them around. it's teh lulz Operation: Pressure Point Probably best done with GLA, but can be done with others. A fairly simple tactic, yet highly effective. Keep your enemy on their toes. Have at least two bases, with one producing several cheap and quick unit types to pressure your opponent, distracting them from the base you're building your ARMY OF [s]darkness[/s]DEATH from. Now let's hear some of YOUR tactics.
ragnarok1945
I usually don't use bomb trucks Me, I usually send it wave after wave of suicide bombers on cycles since they can deal with rough terrain force your opponent to keep building defenses EVERYWHERE while he does that you build up your Scorpion tanks, Quad Cannons, and Rocket Buggies you just have to watch out for veteran USA players because they tend to build too many Commanches to counter the Suicide Bomber Cycle threat
Makο
I usually don't use bomb trucks tl;dr Operation: Pressure Point
fix'd :/

Makο
Cycles are a cheap unit, correct? Therefore, they are the same.
