[/quote] While I must protest and say One Piece is deserving of a second chance, I can see why you would drop it at that point. The series has many highlights and a few downs. The arc after that one, the Alabasta arc, is where the series really begins to pick up IMO. But then the Skypiea arc is like a filler arc in manga...really drags on a bit. But after THAT, I can say the [i]entire[/i] rest of the manga is nothing but awesomeness. I can see new readers being put off by the length though.
