During either player's turn: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; the next time a card(s) would be sent to the Graveyard this turn, that card(s) is banished instead.

Many uses!
1: Disrupt Graveyard activations (Sangan, Shura, Dark World Dealings)
2: Silence cards that send themselves for cost (Effect Veiler, Inzektor Hornet, Thunder King Rai-Oh)
3: Beaty beatstick
4: Tuner yay

What do you think?

But Strantula can activate during either player's turn. It has a Quick Effect...
If you can chain this when you want then great. If you can't and have to activate it in advance and hope, which I suspect is the case, then its not as good.
Sangan's effect is usually triggered by
1) destroying it by battle,
2) using it for Synchro Material, or
3) wiping it out with Torrential Tribute.

In the first case, you can use Strantula when your monster declares an attack on Sangan, and Sangan will be banished. Since you have priority, after you banish Strantula your opponent might kill your monster with Mirror Force or something.

In the second case, when your opponent has all the Material lined up (say, Formula Synchron and Sangan), you would activate Strantula before he chose to Synchro Summon. In this case, he could just not Synchro Summon and leave the monsters on the field instead, though that would screw up his momentum.

Torrential Tribute is the easiest case: You just chain Strantula to it, and everything that would be destroyed by Torrential is banished instead.

You don't know how happy people who use Dark Diviner would be to have a lv 3 dark insect tuner.

I forgot about Dark Diviner and Underground Arachnid! Ah, well; this card was supposed to synergize with Level Eater. I had a whole set of Insects representing different math symbols (-, +, x, etc) that worked with Level Eater, Armageddon Knight and the Inzektors.

And hey, you can revive this with Dark Bug.
