Never heard that before, I think changing your name is like starting over again.

It's from my non/hardly active days.

That's true.

Me as dark knight-x: Only active when posting (bad) cards.

Me as Lexadin: Twilight king of [s]spam[/s] posting.

That would have been like me if I had joined when I was making my rubbish cards, but luckily I joined after I made all of them,

People still call me Tristan T. Taylor instead of Evil Tristan. Although as soon as I A. Can be bothered to ask a mod, or B. Am able to change it again, I'm changing back to Tristan T. Taylor. Most people probably didn't even know me by my old name anyway.

I still remember you as Hounds of Anubis... That was you, right?

Well I joined and THEN created them. Then left for over half a year, then returned and made more bad cards. Eventually I was able to make decent-good cards.

Yup, as the "Formerly: Hounds of Anubis" in my sig implies. :3

Most people that do remember it though probably only know it from my DN name. Especially since back then I was still bad at the game and at card making, and most of the stuff I did was post in RC with the odd post in TCG. And now I'm a TCG regular, which some people think of as the scum of YCM, yay!

To be fairly honest, TCG is between the best sections IMO.

People only bash it because you really need a certain sense of humour (Read: Incredible immaturity but also possess a brain and be decent at Yugioh) to really be accepted in it. Most of the TCGers are cool, just people are judgmental.

Depends on the point of view, actually.

Some people don't like how C/O works. I'm an all-arounder now though, but I have almost 8000 posts in TCG for a reason.
I gues I'm more of a C/O person atm. Though I still enjoy CM every once and now.

I'm not good enough in the TCG to be accepted there. : (
It's not that I suck at it, it's just that for some reason I always lose.

Takes a lot of skill to not be bashed on TCG to be honest.

People are hostile, but after you get ther hang, it's okay.

I don't reccomend adventuring yourself there, though.

Hence I don't come there... I actually think I've never posted there... Or maybe I did, my memory tents to forget such things.
Or if you're awesome like myself, you get accepted when you're bad and praised when you're good. Like a boss.
Meh, that's the exception that makes the rule.

I had played for ages, but only even began to actually comprehend competitive play in April.
Same, actually.

I took an hiatus of 2 years from 2008 to 2010, but before 2008 I didn't know how to play properly, I only knew the rules.

I've taken numerous hiatus' in the past, but that might just be because I've been playing since the first starter decks were introduced here, I've always tried to keep up with the metagame though, but I never really understood most of it, like how I never even understood how Goat Control worked at the time, for example. Then I missed a couple of formats, and was completely out of the loop with what cards were out except via the WC games, so in April I had a lot of learning to do, naturally. Odd, everyone always comments with "lolYCM", myself included, but YCM taught me how to be good. Ironic, really.

Very ironic.

Of course, we learn alone, we don't take classes, so I guess that's the reason.

And, of course, Shard is the biggest example of lolYCM, or M.B X, dunno

Shard's been trying since long before I joined, that's all I really know... and if he's still that bad, God... It's funny really, since he always tries to consider himself a genius too. I figured a key trait of a genius was the ability to learn and comprehend at a fast pace.
