Official Rap Battle Thread

[center][i][size=3]I didn't really know whether to put this in music, games or general so I just went with the easy option of general. If it is incorrect please move the thread. Please do not lock as a lot of effort has gone into modifying the rules for the Yugioh forums. [/size][/i][/center]

[center]So I had this thread on one of the old music forums I used to administrate and it turned out to be a big success. I don't know what all of your views on rap are, however, even if you don't [i]love [/i]it have a go at this thread. The rules go something like this:[/center]

[center][b]. Only people that are 14+ may rap as graphic content is allowed.[/b][/center]

[center][b]. Flaming your opponent is allowed.[/b][/center]

[center][b]. Being butthurt, essentially meaning retaliating with a strong emotional response is smiled upon as that is what a lot of rap is.[/b][/center]

[center][b]. Swearing is allowed. Even if the system filters out some of your swears be sure to use them when necessary.[/b][/center]

[center][b]. Graphic content in the form of words is allowed[/b][/center]
[center][b]- Be sure that you run the rap by a mod first if the material in your words is extremely graphic.[/b][/center]

[center][b]. This thread is for beginners to professionals. [/b][/center]
[center][b]- There is no discussion about the raps unless a vast majority of you request a discussion thread. You express how you feel about another person's rap through rap in this thread.[/b][/center]

[center]Right, so how it works is:[/center]

[center]. The first post comes and you retaliate to the first post. What you didn't like about it, why it was wrong. [/center]
[center]- This is not an absolute must as there are other options.[/center]

[center]- The other option is:[/center]

[center]. Write a completely different rap about anything that you feel strongly about, personal or public. If anyone wants to retaliate they must do so by 'quoting' or 'replying' to them. [/center]

[center]I begin to wonder, if anyone else has these psycho thoughts[/center]
[center]Bringing down my spirits because just last night I fought[/center]

[center]Look at myself in the reflection in the mirror[/center]
[center]SMASH, it all becomes clearer[/center]
[center]As the mirror shatters in two[/center]

[center]I think about why, does anyone else have these psycho dreams?[/center]
[center]Yup, I said it, I have psycho dreams, not the kind you would even rate 18 for your off-spring[/center]
[center]Cos lately I lost someone close to me, I used to feel like a complete and utter king[/center]
[center]Now I realize I was a fool and I feel like I needa sting[/center]

[center]Off these opponents that don’t shut up, won’t shut up, the voices inside my head keep tellin me[/center]
[center]I needa man up and just do it but I decree[/center]

[center]I only got just about one thing to hang onto[/center]
[center]Like a teacher like a mentor, she can’t even see that I need help and I held on too long to[/center]
[center]See her smile I don’t want this anymore I need a clue[/center]

[center]I need out but I’m afraid that if I close my eyes she might start to cry[/center]
[center]I guess that I could kill us both, but if I did she never live for what she has to before she dies[/center]
[center]I want to hug her and tell her how much she means to me, that I’ll never do it again[/center]
[center]But she’ s so f***ing sick of me and I wish I could just go back to what it was like when we was 10[/center]

[center]Stay out late until it was real dark[/center]
[center]Come home and put a blanket over us, keep us warm[/center]
[center]Now there’s something brewing in my heart, bigger than a storm[/center]

[center]I want to get off these meds and go back to how it was when I didn’t have to try[/center]
[center]To control my anger, I just did and I know that anyone reading this thinks I’m a mental case[/center]
[center]Yeah, a mental case, but I don’t care I just want her forgiveness but a brother of a different race[/center]
