The sun had just begun to rise and a small group of people stood in the clearing of a forest. Off to the right, vaguely human shapes could be seen wandering around, almost aimlessly. To the left, a couple cows could be seen. A few long hissing sounds could be heard in the trees above and many footsteps as well. It was still slightly dark out, and it was only getting slightly brighter as time went on.

Dane looked around at the group of people as best as he could with the minimal amount of light they had. He was tired, sore, angry, and all around ready to find out how he could get out of here. He sighed and began to speak.

“Okay, so, here we are. We're in the middle of a forest, no food nor shelter. Looking around, I see some mobs, over there some skeletons or zombies, to my left some cows, sheep, pigs whatever they are. Above us are some more mobs, can't tell what. Oh, and did I mention some demonic entity of Notch's dead brother decided to suck us into a game where we'll most likely die? Just thought I should mention that real quick.”

He took a quick breath. “Okay! Well, any ideas? We have trees all around us, but we have no clue what may be on top of them. We have any fighters here?”

The "Bl1ndPr0phet" awakened, somewhat confused of his whereabouts. "Hmmph.... so this is another one of Herobrine's abilities... incredibly interesting." His face was still stoic as he stared at his right arm, dignified, crafted of minimalistic pixels yet capturing his essence.. most intruging. He looked up at his so-called "leader', "What do you MEAN fighter? This game's combative abilities are so simple that even I could pick up a blade and chop a skeleton in half! ....Besides we are wasting time with this insolent mucking about.... we could be easily be making shelter and weapons to protect us from those wretched excuses for AI!" The Pr0phet had a harsh way with words, as if with each word he was insulting Dane's intelligence behind his pixelated shades. He moved towards the trees and began tearing at their blocks with his bare fists, he was NOT going to die to the first mob just because he had incompetent self-entitled IDIOTS for partners... no he was going to survive, he was going to find Herobrine, and he was going to show him exactly what he thought about leaving him with these casuals.

Cyae loved dawn in Minecraft. The sight of watching some mobs burst into scarlet flames as they walked into the sunlight was hilarious to her. Admittedly, she loved all times of day.
However, visibility was restricted at dawn, until the sun cast full light on them. Until then, she could be walking right next to Herobrine and not notice. That thought made her shudder slightly.
One member began talking, explaining their predicament, and finishing by asking if any of them were fighters.
Immdiatly another member of their group got annoyed, and began tearing at a tree with his bare fists, as was the way of Minecraft.
"He is sort of right." She said. "Mostly, we need to worry about the mobs on the ground. The ones above would most likely be spiders, and from my knowledge, they are harmless during the day."
Standing straighter, she peered at the top of another tree nearby. Nothing was on it's top, and there weren't any harmful mobs within a short distance.
"I think this tree would be safe to punch." She said, walking over. She started punching it, glad of Minecraft physics. Otherwise, her hand would be red within two moments.

Wyndar was about to answer to the guy who just started speaking to the 'group' of them, when another person cut in and started yelling, "Well, for one, this isn't just a game anymore. Combat probably won't be as simple as clicking your left mouse key!" he said with a hint of anger in his voice, then turned back, "Anyway, I'm a bit of a fighter if I do say so myself, I should be able to handle whatever is in those trees," he answered, then turned to the trees, "Though maybe I'll let this guy try and take them on instead" he shrugged, then turned to the girl who was now speaking, "They may be harmless during the day, but if they've set their sights on us, they won't stop attacking until we die, so we might as well take them out now" he explained, then stepped back, "But I'll let you handle these things for now, if you need any help killing a spider or something-" He began, speaking directly to the angry guy, "Just call"

Dane glared at the first man to speak, but his voice was calm as could be. "Look. Like this good sir spoke," Dane motioned to Wyndar, "I'm sorry I didn't catch your name. We're in the damn game now. It won't be as simple as STEP BACK, MOVE FORWARD, CLICK anymore. Second, it's not AI anymore, it's real for us. These creatures are bloodthirsty, and I'm not wanting to be a snack to them. We risk actually injuring ourselves. We risk dying. So think before you speak."

He walked over to a nearby tree and stood for a moment, then started to punch. He couldn't help but be annoyed, but he didn't have time to worry about it. With dawn just now rising, he knew spiders would still be aggressive. "Everyone. Avoid making the spiders angry. If you do, they'll chase us into the daytime, and I don't want to know what happens when we die."

After he collected the wood from the tree, he watched as the leaves began to decay. Time and time again. There will always be that ONE guy.

Kazooie stood close to Dane, looking around nervously. Every now and again, she would hear a hiss from a spider and jump. Eventually, she got up the courage to make her way to a nearby tree and collect the wood from it, barely making a sound. After a while, she quietly spoke. "Um... A-are we gonna be safe even during the day? If... If we were sucked into the game... What's to say whatever sucked us in isn't around right now? What if he's watching..."

She started to shake, but kept punching the tree. The sun had finally almost fully risen to where they could see clearly, and a few mobs had started to catch fire. She sighed, obviously relived. "O-Okay, some of our troubles are gone at least..."

CaseyHeart rose to her feet slowly and immediately knew that something was obviously wrong with the natural order of things. For one, she was IN the game. The sounds of mobs weren't so bad. Except for that GODDAMN HISSING. She knew what that meant, they were close by. The girl was slowly losing her mind every passing moment they could be heard. Casey was so out of it, she didn't even listen to much of what was said in the conversation involving the other unfortunate souls here. Though, she did see them punching trees. Maybe they were going to focus on construction first? She did recall that there wouldn't be much point in running out to fight the hostile mobs for any materials without a weapon...

She was still in a daze and just in utter shock of where they were, she didn't speak. Only stared.

Cyae collected her final piece of wood, and counted. 5 raw wood. Not too bad a harvest. However, there was the issue that they needed far more materials if they were to make a house large enough for all or most of them. Wooden planks would be best for such a construction. And that was more of an issue. As stated by one of them, it wasn't simply click, step back etc. No longer could she press 'e' and start crafting in a 2 by 2 grid.
Mulling it over, she tucked her wood under her arm. It was somewhat awkward, but until she worked out how inventory worked, it was the best she could do.
One of the other girls of the group spoke softly, about whether or not they were safe.
"We should be fine." Cyae said. "If he wanted to detsroy us, surely he would have done so by now."
At least, so was her theory.
Now that the sun had completely risen, she examined the group. A few girls, more boys. Overall, 5 had spoken. Not too many, but that was fine. As long as she made some friends, it was all good. Except nobody knew anyone's names.
"Anyway, seeing as it's likely we'll be seeing a lot of each other while we all try to survive," she said slightly loudly, so the others could hear. "We should at least know each others names. I'm Cyae!"

Dane nodded as the girl spoke. "Well, she's right. If we were wanted dead, we wouldn't have been brought in just as it became dawn. No, no one could be that stupid." Dane started on another tree, having collected the three saplings from the last one. He sighed, frowning.

"This doesn't seem... Like it's going to be simple. How the hell are we going to make a shelter? Hell, might as well dig a hole into the side of a cliff. At least then we might be able to find coal or something like that." He kept going, mumbling to himself slightly. He collected what dropped, and stopped before he finished cutting it down. A faint hissing noise could be heard close by.

"We forgot another mob... Hostile at day... Won't die from sun. Keep an eye out for it."

Wyndar thought for a moment about what the girl said, then said "Oh, I'm sure he wants us dead..." then paused, "But what fun is killing us straight off? If we wanted to do that, he probably could've done it without taking us into Minecraft. No, he's like a feline: He's toying with his prey until he gets bored," he told them grimly, "But until that happens we might as well try and make sure we don't die straight off. Anyway, I guess you can just call my Wyndar," he told them, the then turned to the first one who'd spoken, "As for shelter, that seems like the only course of action. Normally I'd just fight off mobs during the night until I built a decent house but... I don't think I wanna see what happens now that everything is... real" he muttered worriedly, then turned to go to work on a tree, "Well in any case, we should make a wooden pick, least then we can make a few stone tools"

Dark Angel walked around somewhat, rather disorientated at what was going on until, looking around, he realized that he was in the world he had spent so long playing. Still keeping some track of the conversation as it went, he told them, "Well, we could use the raw wood to make a shelter for the night, and maybe keep a couple of pieces in the meantime to try to figure out how to make planks and a crafting table. I'm Dark Angel by the way, or you can just call me Angel if you prefer." Dark Angel looked around, noticing the trees and started to do what everyone else seemed to be doing, and walking over and punching one himself to collect the wood from it.

dtwrules.... i mean Dylan sat up. Everything felt hazy and out of place. He ran his arms across the pixelated, blocky skin that he now had. Noticed that his clothing wasnt really clothing, it was now a part of him. It was hard to see more than 100 blocks ahead of what ever direction you were looking, and since the sun hadn't risen above the tree line yet, he had no idea which direction was north.

Without speaking to anyone he began punching a tree, placing the blocks he broke next too him. After he had 3 blocks cut out he stepped below the remaining 4 blocks. He began to build below him and dig up until there was one more block left above him, therefore the tree wouldn't decay and he could look out into the horizon.

"There is a mountain to what appears to be the East... That is if the sun still rises on the West of the planet." He paused for a minute and checked down to see if anyone was looking at him. He started speaking louder to pull their attention. "The spiders are neutral now! Just don't hit them! There is a mountain EAST of here! If we move during the day, and continue to collect materials, we should have a shelter by night!"

Dylan felt proud of his accomplishments, he had set a course, now he just has to wait for the rest of the groups reactions.

Cyae glanced up at Dylan. He'd climbed high up into the tree, and had already confirmed a good place to head towards.
If she was honest, Cyae had never understood the actual directions of the sun, considering the moon rose from the exact same side of the blocky world.
A mountain would be a great place to start. Cyae thought. We'd be more likely to find coal there, so when we create a house, we have a possibility of light. Then again, we still need wooden planks to create torches for the light.
She knew that most of them probably knew that wooden planks was one of their main priorities, directly after a base of operations. Without planks, nothing could be done, and they'd spend the night on small pillars of dirt, with a small rim around to stop spiders coming up. Or something.
"Sounds like a good idea!" she called up to Dylan. She glanced at the rest of the group. "If we go to a mountain, there might be a supply of coal. And on the way, we can work out how to craft wood into planks."

"Yeah, that sounds like a pretty good idea to me" Wyndar agreed, "Just one thing" he said after a moment, "The sun, in Minecraft... it rises in the North" he explained, "Anyway, still a good plan" he assured him. "Now if only we could figure out how to make some bally wooden planks we could actually get somewhere. After all, it's not like we can smash stone with our bare ha- Okay well we CAN, but we can't get anything from it! Coal either!" he noted, though he was sure the others knew it as well, "In anycase, we might want to figure that out once we got to that mountain" he decided, "What do you guys think?" he asked the others.

Dylan looked up again and noted that the sun rose on the north.

"The mountain is South from here!" Dylan yelled as he worked his way down the tree, walking away as it slowly decayed behind him.

Dylan grabbed one of the blocks of wood he had collected and looked at it for a second. He began to beat at another tree with the raw wood block. When he was done, he had four bark-less planks, and some more raw wood. The only problem this sufficed is that there would always be a supply of raw wood, so they had to peel away the bark off some of them.

"If we were making rooms for everyone, i have enough to make a small room, i could easily collect the materials to make a pickaxe real fast and i could scout while others collect materials. I say don't overload our capacity, we do not want to get ahead of our selves.

Kazooie walked over to the area the rest of the group was. She saw Dane standing off away from the rest of the group, and decided to leave him alone for a minute while he collected his thoughts. "Well... We d-don't have much to lose, do we? If we head out now, we could get there before sunrise and dig into the cliff for shelter! We can worry about a house later, that'll take too much time to build..."

She blinked and quickly realized she had never introduced herself. "O-oh! Since everyone else is... I'm Kazooie... In here at least. I'm Dane's sister, he's the one in the red suit over there, standing alone. Anyway... I figured out the inventory just now. Whatever you wanna store, just put it in your pocket. It works like Minecraft though, so we do have a limited amount of space in them..."

She put her hand into her pocket and dug out the wood she had gotten from her two trees she cut down. "S-see? Simple... I guess if that's how physics works here..."

Dylan walked up and looked eye to eye with Kazooie. He felt strange, seeing how he was always different height from everyone else, yet here everyone was the same dimensions. He felt like he was having an out of body experience. As if he was sitting somewhere, in a coma, staring blankly at a computer screen.

He looked at her and smiled. "Hey, relax. You will be fine, okay? I'm sure Dane won't let anything happen to you."

Cyae 'fingered' her wood for a moment, then placed it where a pocket would be. It was rather odd, finding a sort of pocket in her 'armor'. But hey, Minecraft physics was messed.
'Doesn't take many people to scout an area. We could send two fast people to the mountain to work out placing, and possibly start on the digging out of the mountain, whilst the other six of us follow slowly behind, collecting materials like sand, dirt and wood." she suggested, as a plan of action.
Then a thought occurred to her. "We'll also need to find some pigs." she said. "Otherwise we might starve. Once we work out crafting, we could also work out a suitable place to farm wheat, for bread." Noting a piece of long grass, she punched it. It vanished, and was replaced by a small seed, which she placed in her pocket.
"On note of food, until we have an on-going food source, we should refrain from sprinting unless we're being chased by spiders."

Dylan looked at Cyae

"I never caught your name! I'm Dylan... but i think i already shouted that loud enough..." He blushed and winced it away. "I can go scouting, im pretty fast, and aprently intuitive, since i thought to climb a tree." He said with a smile.

This is all messed up... something is missing. Why isnt there... never mind...

No! Say it, what is missing... You didn't mean me did you?

uhm.... of course i didn't mean you... just go away Daniel...

Fine...

Dylan winced again and walked away before he had a response. He began to pace behind a row of trees.

Dane listened as they spoke, waiting until Cyae had finished to speak. "So, who should we send? Our two fastest people is kinda debatable, since we're all kinda reduced to Minecraft level when it comes to speed. It depends on who would actually come back to inform on any danger, and who would have the least amount of trouble avoiding getting injured. Personally, I say Kazooie stay behind with the group, but I'll go if the group decides. I spent a lot of time on Zombie Survival servers in Classic Minecraft, so I assume I could avoid anything particularly threatening. Spiders are my main worry until the sun sets."

Dane turned around, his back to the group. He heard a faint hissing noise again, but brushed it off as nothing.

Cyae blinked. Before she had the chance to say her name again, Dylan had walked away, pacing between the trees.
That was weird. He says he can go scouting, asks for my name, then walks off. She refrained from rubbing her temples, like she did when she was seriously confused. Being 13 amongst older players isn't going to be easy.
When Dane mentioned Zombie Survival, she refrained from laughing. She'd played many of those. Not that she considered herself good at it.
"Well, you two," here she pointed at Dylan and Dane. "since you two offered, you guys could go scout. If everyone's OK with that, of course."

Dylan instantly stopped pacing and moved over toward the group.

"Dane, i say we make some swords just in case and head off, what do you think?"

Dylan took the blocks out of his pockets and made a crafting bench. (Inventory: 1 Crafting Bench and 5 Raw Wood)

After making an inventory check he ran through what he could make out of his inventory. He turned all the raw wood into planks and half the planks into sticks.

(1 Bench, 10 Planks, 20 Sticks)

Then he made a Sword and as many axes as he could.

(1 Bench, 1 Wooden Sword, 1 Wooden Pixaxe, 1 Wooden Axe, 15 Sticks, 2 Planks)

"Who ever wants the axe can have it, i only need the pick."

Cyae blinked again. So Dylan had cracked the crafting grid. Damn him. So lucky to work it out without effort. Perhaps Indev or Infdev helped with that knowledge. True pity she'd been away from a computer for that period. She might have learned something from it.
"I'll have the axe." she said eventually, noting the general silence from the rest. Possibly awe, since he'd worked out 2x2 crafting to make the planks and crafting table.
"Afterall, with it we can collect more materials to create our eventual base, not to mention more tools. That is, until it breaks." she added.
She peered at the sky. If she could judge Minecraft time correctly without an actual clock, it was around noon, give or take a Minecraft hour. She was sure she'd get the hang of Minecraft time eventually. Being trapped in a game might have it's advantage when she finally escaped.
"We should probably start off in the general direction of the mountain now." she suggested. "That way we can arrive before the sun sets and make a temporary base before monsters come to kill us."

Kazooie glared at Dane. "If I need to go, I will. We're all stuck in this Dane, and I'm willing to help if I can!"

She looked at her supplies, and mimicked what Dylan had done with his wood. She soon had 24 planks of wood, and used six of them to make twelve sticks. She walked over to the bench Dylan had placed and started to mess around a little, and eventually she came up with an wooden ax.

"T-There. Since Dane thinks I should stay back, I'll work on cutting down more trees, and when this breaks, I'll go and try and mine some stone so we can make better weapons soon..."

She looked at her possessions; fifteen planks of wood, ten sticks and an ax. ...Is this really gonna work out for us?

Dylan smiled at her...

"Its best we move in pairs or small groups, too large groups can attract mobs, but too small: as in one person, could wind up deadly for those in a group." Dylan thought for a little bit. "We need to equally divide the labor and keep our group as efficient as possible. Some of us can collect wood, and others work on building, etc."

Dylan felt in charge, which he hated. He didn't want to lead, he felt he was taking opprotunites away from other people, and if he was in charge, people can blame him when things go wrong.

Maybe ill just settle back and help as much as i can without taking charge. Ill let someone else lead the group.

I swear... you are suck a F**king p**sy, get your fat *ss up and lead this group. They need a leader, and you will fit that spot.

Speak for your self! Look in a mirror for once, you are nothing but a figment of my imagination, and you are trying to take over the world over there, just get out of my head and let me do what i want...

I refuse to let you be suck a stuck up little prick. If you don't do something with your life, i will for you.
