Over time, the creator was making tons of money from it, and people could not stop playing. Eventually, rumors of a character in game that looked just like you started to circulate. People who claimed to see him noticed man-made features in their game. Trees would be pre-cut down, stones would have been randomly removed, refined wood would be placed with no pattern. They had no clue what was going on. The people who saw these features would eventually see the character. He looked just like you, but with no pupils in his eyes. When they saw him, they would quickly capture a screen shot, and post it in the Minecraft forums. But only seconds after they posted, their post would be deleted. Then, not long after that, they would receive a PM from a user named “Herobrine.” The message said the following... [i]Stop.[/i] The user did not exist. When his account was linked to, nothing popped up. He was an error message. Then, a small group of people would band together every now and again to see if they could find this character of legends. Nothing was ever found again. -The Next Year- Herobrine was seen again, although this time, he won’t be letting the ones who saw him leave. When they tried to log out, they fell asleep. When they awoke, they each started in an area near the middle of a forest. As they looked around, they saw nothing more then large expanses of trees, and a single person. Not having a clue what was going on, each person did the logical thing, run after the mysterious person. However, by the time they had reached him, he was gone. Now it was just the group of people. They are rare in this world actually. -Fire=Good and Bad. It hurts you, just like you would expect. Be careful when playing with fire. However, it provides light, and hurts the enemies. They spawn in dark areas. Expect many monsters at night. -Advanced Clause is in effect. Four lines or more. -Godmodding: It’s a little hard to do in this type of RP. If you find a way to do it, I will be amazed. You won’t find cave systems every time, you will be hurt, ect. -Everyone starts out in the middle of the forest. However, from here you can choose to work as a group, which would be suggested, or go off on your own. Just be careful, whatever you do. -Change the color of your character name in the application to brown. -The Void exists. Well, due to the insane amounts of uploads he does a day, he was correct. After watching ten or so videos, he decided to look the game up, and try out the classic version. After a few days, he decided that he should check Minecraft, and tried out the classic mode for a few days before purchasing the game. As soon as he purchased it, he became addicted, and decided that he would find a way to explain the game without it sounding retarded. Too bad that’s the least of his troubles now. He, along with a few others, and now trapped in the game, and the first thing he did when he realized he was in the game was punch a tree a few times and watched a block fall from where he punched. Personality: Dane is that one kid everyone does not pay attention to. Makes sense too, after all, he doesn’t try to stand out. With everyone around him acting out, he just goes along with his business, always staying level-headed. Never does he lash out in emotions alone, he always tries to have a reason beyond he was “angry." However, he doesn’t hide emotions either. It’s simple to tell when he is angry, upset, confused, ect.. You could say he is a mixed bag in that regard. If he does argue with someone out of emotions alone, he generally apologizes for it right afterwards. He can be easy enough to get along with, but he does not want to know people. He got her into Minecraft not long ago and other games, and by extension into this mess. Throughout her life, she was the unimportant sibling. In general, Dane did better in school, with people, and with their parents. She eventually grew to feel angry about it, once she noticed. She never left Dane know though. As with Dane, she was trapped in the game, however unlike him, she has very little knowledge about the game. Due to this, she could easily appear as a burden with her limited knowledge. As of now, she's eager to try and help find a way out, and more then a little scared as well. Personality: Kazooie is more relaxed then Dane, and generally is nicer then him. She's the person who tries to keep Dane calm when he does get angry. More often then not, she's trying to keep a fight from starting, as she can't stand them. Fighting kills her inside, as she prefers to be more passive then anything. However, even with the passivity, when she does get mad she can show an anger like Dane does. Most of the time, she remains a neutral voice that others can go to when they need a judgment, which Dane does quick frequently despite being older then her. She respects Dane, but she harbors a grudge against him for various reasons. Minecraft Specialty: Nothing in particular. Casey would always try to get a group of friends to start making their custom world into something that could be used for some sort of epic journey. During the construction of this, she saw the mysterious Herorbine. Needless to say, the sight scared the living hell out of her. Maybe she could've quickly jumped into bed and write it off as nothing? Casey wished she had done that before she was somehow trapped inside of the game. Personality: Casey is hyperactive, funny, and somewhat immature. She'll always try to make a joke to lighten up a dark mood because she dislikes seeing others depressed. Especially her friends. The girl sometimes goes overboard with it though and tends to just sound silly. Creepers scare her almost to death, and she will immediately run while screaming if she sees one. It's usually not even the threat of them blowing up, just those... creepy faces. Just thinking about it makes her shudder... Personality: Bl1ndPr0phet is a bit of a megalomaniac, willing to do anything to make himself look good despite the protests of others. He admires Herobrine for his work in the caverns and wishes to learn his technique more then anything. He's also rather obsessed with Minecraft as a whole, showing very little interest to the real world he was forced to leave behind. While he's not necessarily the combat type, he is very fond of crafting traps, most of them lethal. Though he prefers using them on animals and mobs he's not above crafting one to get back at a player. The ‘outfit’ she wears is styled to be a set of diamond armor, also ‘made’ to fit the general curves of a female. Biography: Cyae discovered Minecraft when it was still Classic, and much enjoyed fiddling with blocks and building grand structures, namely for the feeling of security she felt when inside. Unfortunately, she never had a chance to play Indev or Infdev, but persuaded her mum to buy her Minecraft Alpha. She still built her grand structures, but worked for their materials. It was laborious, but she didn’t mind. She played all through Beta, particularly enjoying getting lost in the grand architecture of Strongholds. Then, she met Herobrine. It was a mere glance while she was searching for diamond in an extensive cavern system. She first thought him to be an Edelman, and was cautious. When she realized it was another player, she approached him. Then she fell asleep, and appeared in the Minecraft World. As of yet, she still doesn’t believe it. Personality: Cyae is over-friendly, trying to be friends with everyone around her. When someone doesn’t want to be her friend, she tries much harder. This can result in her doing very stupid things. But when she has loads of friends, she can work together with most, often working out things that she couldn’t build herself, and needs another’s expertise. Her over-friendliness can lead to her trying to help others, only to find herself making things much worse, due to also being somewhat klutzy. Minecraft Specialty: Building (Namely building that require minecarts and other players, in a community), Smelting, Redstone (She’s not very good at it, but she can make the basics. It's kinda mod based and kinda not. In fact, you reminded me about that. Most mods used will be treated as part of the game itself. The skin would be whatever skin you would use, or if you would rather it be your character turned into a MInecraft skin that works too. Personal preference. Cherry's app is accepted. Kazooie Posted November 24, 2011 Report Share Posted November 24, 2011 Dane wanted me to let everyone know that if we don't get more people before Monday at the latest, he'll probably start it anyway. He and I will be controlling NPC's along with our character's, so it shouldn't be that big a problem if we don't have more. He recently designed a 50x50x50 (block) Pyramid and a TnT Cannon. He is most proud of his, working, 8 button combination lock. One day while he was working on a new invention, day suddenly turned to night. He raced to his pyramid only to run into a wall of glass. He heard hissing coming from behind him, so he turned around in a flash. There was nothing there except miles and miles of sand. He kept on moving toward his pyramid, keeping a steady pace, knowing that he would be safe in his room. He heard laughter off in the distance, but he kept running. As he climbed up the staircase there was a flash of lighting and the whole pyramid caught on fire. Standing at the entrance to his bedroom was Herobrine. dtwrules had hoped to never witness such a demonic figure, but there it was, true as the night that surrounded him. Herobrine slowly walked toward dtwrules, devilishly laughing with each step. There was another flash of lightning and dtwrules woke up, alone in a forest. When he encountered Herobrine he was rather THRILLED instead of afraid, wishing to capture the monster to learn the secret to his abilities... instead he was stuck with a group of "scrubs" with no way out... not that he minds at all, the real world had nothing for him to begin with... Personality: Bl1ndPr0phet is a bit of a megalomaniac, willing to do anything to make himself look good despite the protests of others. He admires Herobrine for his work in the caverns and wishes to learn his technique more then anything. He's also rather obsessed with Minecraft as a whole, showing very little interest to the real world he was forced to leave behind. While he's not necessarily the combat type, he is very fond of crafting traps, most of them lethal. Though he prefers using them on animals and mobs he's not above crafting one to get back at a player. He is also rather obsessed with the Nether, constantly searching for Obsidian in his spare time to build a portal there. Because I remember an RP very similar to this, some time last year. or earlier this year. EDIT: Also, who would death be treated? Since I've been back, I decided to repost it. Death is gonna be, weird in this RP. Since the players ARE the actual players, death will have a much larger impact then in Minecraft normally. Players will respawn, but they won't remember where they died. It promotes teamwork when you can't just run back to the EXACT spot and grab your stuff. It just depends on who stays in the group and who runs off to kill stuff. Also, APP TIME Username: Lunar Eclipse Character Name: [color=#8b4513]Cyae (Either Sigh-Ae or Kigh (pronounced like High)-Ae)[/color] Gender: Female Age: 13 Appearance: Cyae’s ‘skin’ is a pale one, with some freckles where her cheeks would be. Her ‘hair’ is white, with streaks of many colors along it (Namely blue, green, red and yellow). There is also a band of gold with flecks of blue, designed to look like a sort of crown. The ‘outfit’ she wears is styled to be a set of diamond armor, also ‘made’ to fit the general curves of a female. Biography: Cyae discovered Minecraft when it was still Classic, and much enjoyed fiddling with blocks and building grand structures, namely for the feeling of security she felt when inside. Unfortunately, she never had a chance to play Indev or Infdev, but persuaded her mum to buy her Minecraft Alpha. She still built her grand structures, but worked for their materials. It was laborious, but she didn’t mind. She played all through Beta, particularly enjoying getting lost in the grand architecture of Strongholds. Then, she met Herobrine. It was a mere glance while she was searching for diamond in an extensive cavern system. She first thought him to be an Edelman, and was cautious. When she realized it was another player, she approached him. Then she fell asleep, and appeared in the Minecraft World. As of yet, she still doesn’t believe it. Personality: Cyae is over-friendly, trying to be friends with everyone around her. When someone doesn’t want to be her friend, she tries much harder. This can result in her doing very stupid things. But when she has loads of friends, she can work together with most, often working out things that she couldn’t build herself, and needs another’s expertise. Her over-friendliness can lead to her trying to help others, only to find herself making things much worse, due to also being somewhat klutzy. Minecraft Specialty: Building (Namely building that require minecarts and other players, in a community), Smelting, Redstone (She’s not very good at it, but she can make the basics.
