Okay...first and second fanfics didn't work out so well because I NEVER had the time to update it. Same goes with my other RPs. But now I FINALLY have the time to actually work on this one. So you will NEVER see a post saying that I cannot continue this. I will explain how this story works out:

 

The RP revolves around a principle known as the Warp Portal. There are 7 Warp Portals, one for each continent. Each Warp Portal also represents an element (Attributes in the YuGiOh Universe). Because each Warp Portal is assigned to a different element, that will determine how strong one's Battle Spirit is in that particular Portal.

 

A Battle Spirit is a being that accompanies a human. Battle Spirits can range from simple humanoid beings to more advanced beings like demons and mechas. Every human on planet Earth has a Battle Spirit, but it is up to them to discover it as it is forbidden for a Battle Spirit to reveal his/her identity to their partner. A Battle Spirit is a companion for life and will only go away when the owner reveals his/her Battle Spirit to one that has not discovered their own. There are also special Battle Spirits called Portal Lords, which there are only 7 of.

 

Portal Lords, like the name states, are Battle Spirits that control a specific Portal. There are only 7 Portal Lords, one for each element.

Ramses, the final Portal Lord (Divine Attribute) also has a partner depite being the Higher Lord.

 

Portal Lords have 2 elements unlike regular Battle Spirits. Portal Lords can also reveal themselves to their partners. All Portal Lords reveal theirselves to their partner when their partner reaches the age of 12, an age which all of the Portal Lords agreed a human is decreed worthy. All humans that have a Portal Lord as a partner are all the same age. Humans that have a Portal Lord as a Battle Spirit can also see another human's Battle Spirit, but they are forbidden from telling the other human they have one unless the human already knows. The 7 Portal Lords are as followed:

That is how the RP works. Now for the backstory:

The Earth. A small world that has played as a field for the wars between the Battle Spirits. The Seven Portal Lords argued about how the war should continue. This happened with each of the 14 wars that happened on Earth. Hieros, Venian, and Hydra argued against Ignias, Aeros, and Verge with Ramses caught in the middle. There was a war going on between the Battle Spirits and someone had to stop it. This war had been going on for 110 years and needed to be stopped. Now it is your chance to do so...

There has been a war going on for 110 years on Earth. The Battle Spirits are dying, as well as innocent humans. You must help resolve the violence that Ignias, Aeros, and Verge have created.

 

 

SIGN-UP

The space in this RP is VERY limited (5 more people may join). You must take control of Venian, Hydra, Hieros, Ignias, Aeros, or Verge's human partner. I will participate as Ramses' partner.

 

Venian, Hydra, and Hieros are on the side of good. Ignias, Aeros, and Verge are on the side of evil. You are either trying to help save the Earth or destroy it.

Battles against Portal Lords will be conducted via PM. Every 10 posts, there will be a battle between 2 Portal Lords. Everyone else may continue, but the RPers I have chosen MAY NOT post until the battle has concluded. The battles will be a card making contest (the easiest thing I could think of). Each contestant will PM to me a card that ws made based on what I gave you (each participant will get the same format). The winner will make a post explaining how they beat the opposing Portal Lord. I will also PM the winner on how he/she beat the opposing Portal Lord. They MUST use what I gave them and explain how they won (it makes more sense when it actually happens...)

 

RULES

  • No godmodding
  • No double posts
  • Post at least once every 3 days. If you are absent plase PM me so you do not become ejected.
  • No bunnying
  • Keep swearing to a minimum
  • 5-line minimum. I am being very strict about this. First is a warning. Second is a PM stating you have 1 more shot. Third is ejection and replacement.
  • Be literate. n0 L33t sPe@k plz.
  • All cards used for battles must be user created by YOU. You may not use pics of current YuGiOh cards. Pics in pencil are STRICTLY forbidden. I want color.

PERSONALITY: Kind' date=' Caring, Considerate, Loving, Trustworthy, honourable, courageous, gallant; these are just some of many words that can describe this man, yet none of them really do justice to this man's virtue. There are many people this man cares about, but there is only one that he truly cares about, thinks about and fights to protect (his lover, Kassie). He despises people who show no respect to others and to those who abuse others unjustly. However just like his spirit, he tends to scare people because he looked slightly vicious and evil...

@asuma181: If you can give me a VERY literate RP sample. I will let you in. Otherwise, you are not allowed to enter because under Personality it says to be VERY descriptive. "a young boy who discovered his battle spirit and will destroy all who opose him " is not literate or desciptive. I am sorry. Try to prove me wrong...

PERSONALITY (please be VERY descriptive): Dario is and always has been a very curious person. He was very curious about all things to do with fire, and has become a bit of a pyromaniac. He can be very Sadistic and merciless, which is a fuel for his many temper tantrums. He has a very uncontrollable temper, and is often rude, blunt, and hardheaded. He is German and found his Battle Spirit in a cave near his hometown. Since he found it he has become more and more obsessed with flames.

The grin was now on Ignias's face. "Indeed. Let us burn the world away of foul goodness and light!" The both sprinted into the village, laughing maniacly.

Then I'm not too late! ^_^ I've always been something of an expert at RPs. Here's my character's profile:

 

NAME: Cathal Kaÿné Yddisac /ka'thal ka•yee'nay ee'dis•sak/

 

AGE (15-20): 18

 

GENDER: Male

 

SPIRIT: Verge

 

PERSONALITY:

To be frank, he really doesn't care. Cathal Kaÿné Yddisac will do whatever benefits him, and in this case, it's the destruction of Earth. Fiercely intelligent and cruelly calculating, Cathal is also an expert manipulator, and one way or another, he will get what he want. He's afflicted with Schizoid disorder, which explains his grim and eerily impassive nature. They say he only cares about one being other than Verge... but in the war for Earth, she's out of the picture, and Cathal will show the planet no mercy. This completely neutral and self-centered attitude won him a miraculous chain that can do his bidding.

Their footsteps echoed as they raced through the laboratory with their loot. If they hurried, they'd be able to shake the Battle Spirit that was chasing them.

 

Suddenly, they found a locked door. Without thinking, one of the thieves pulled out a pin and started to pick the lock.

 

"You sure we'll have time for this?" the other one muttered anxiously.

 

"Sure we will," the bandit picking the lock replied. Suddenly, a click was heard. "C'mon!" he whispered; the Battle Spirit could be heard nearing the area. He threw himself and his compatriot inside and slammed the door behind him, being sure to lock it.

 

That was the worst move he could have possibly made.

 

About half a minute later, the Battle Spirit lazily swaggered its way into the room.

 

"It's fine," it said, completely emotionless, as a serpentine chain curled itself around his hand and unraveled into a floating circle around his waist. "I took care of them."

 

And with that, Cathal Kaÿné Yddisac stormed out of the chamber, Verge laughing maniacally behind him.

 

Note: I couldn't find anything even remotely close to what I wanted online (which makes sense, if you think about it), so I used TekTek. Hope it's okay.

"Yes Aeros. You did fine but next time don't let so many people get away next time." "I don't want these pathetic people to even breathe the air in my new world." "Now come we still have much to do." said Kajar as he droped the doll and began walking off with Aeros close by his side.
