Dementuo
I have the epic scene from the movie somewhere in my YouTube history. It's ever-so-slightly explicit... Want me to go find it?
Shradow
Which movie? I have both of them on DVD, and by explicit I assume you mean when they summon the STTGL and you see Nia naked?

Shradow
Lagann-Hen in Japanese. English title The Lights In the Sky Are Stars. The first is Guren-Hen/Childhood's End. I bought both Limited Edition DVDs from the Aniplex site when they were first released last year. Great Unclean One: VK
Great homage to previous Super Robots. Namely Getter. Overrated but still a decent show. On a very low budget compared to other shows, the guys who animated this was highly skilled. Also: Remember gentlemen. Spiral Energy = Power by love and fighting spirit. Represents evolution, life, and love. Getter Rays = Power by a multi-dimensional being that seeks to forcefully absorb all the minds and souls of living things. Represents fate, life, death, evolution, and memories.
DSS
This anime is like the old Chuck norris meme, just as lame and just as freaking overused. It was a good mecha for its times but c'mon the thing itself is more like a ton of fan service. Its not even a good unit in SRW Z2. I liked it the first time but then i had this terrible taste in my mouth.

Fusion X. Denver
I love Gurren Lagann, it'll always be one of my favorites. And you can't hate Kamina. You just can't. Unless you're a prick.

Sleepy
It's among my favorite animes. The bad stuff: -I can't get anyone to see it because the first images that appear when they look for info of it are Yoko's. Her fanservice is over the top at times. They immediately loose interest on wanting to know about it and think it's just fanservice like many of nowadays animes >.> Truth be told. It doesn't even have much of that, and some of the times it does, the epic moments overshadow it. -I understand why Simon gave up Nya's life at the end, but after pretty much demonstrating that everything can be achieved by believing and after saving the universe, I in his place would have kept going a little while more. Just to not ruin all love relationships of all main characters (killing half of them). -Not necessarily good or bad but, changing the final battle was kind of unneeded IMO. ^other than those, the show is pretty epic. Kamina and Simon are among the best characters out there. The show is not overhyped at all, it's good on its own right. I don't get that people in this site that watch mechas tend to compare TTGL to other overpowered mechas and having it loose like trash. Just because it's not as overpowered as god-killing multiverse/dimension creating robots it doesn't make it weak. TTGL's only got that far because Simon drew the line and decided to stop. Had some other problem appeared, it would have kept evolving. It already demonstrated to exponentially grow over the short period of less than 30 episodes. Among other things, I particularly liked how it didn't contain those 3D-looking animations I dislike seeing in anime nowadays. Not to mention all the details in images, interesting poses and angles, and bright colors. It surprises me to hear in this thread that it was low budget. Raine
Gurren Lagann taught me many things (excluding how to live) but the most important is that: Anything in the universe can be solved with sheer willpower... unless said thing has been stabbed by a spear or dives head on into a gravity well or has a deteriorating body of an unknown material that after the basis for keeping which stable fails in which case you have roughly a week until you turn into pretty sparkles... BUT IN ALL OTHER CASES! SHOUT AS LOUD AS YOU CAN AND BASH IN SKULLS! ...AND DRILLS! CAN'T FORGET THE DRILLS!
Expelsword
There was a pep rally today at my school.
