Mysty Posted November 18, 2011 Report Share Posted November 18, 2011 It's like Rampant Growth, with the following changes: • In order to ramp out another land, you need the other land in your hand. • It can be any other land and it enters untapped. • It isn't usually a dead draw. Drawing a Rampant Growth while you have no other cards means you probably lose. This replacing itself means you have one more chance to topdeck what you need. This has the same amount of card advantage as Rampant Growth, but given in a more flexible way. Rampant Growth causes you to lose 1 card in your hand for one more resources. If you use this card to its "full potential", it does the same thing. The difference is that it replacing itself and it allowing you to place the land from your hand gives you flexibility in case you don't have a land/don't want to play a land from your hand.
