Black Moon Burial Grounds
[ Spell / Field ]
You cannot declare an attack the turn you activate this cards effect(s). During your Standby Phase: Add 1 non-Effect Ritual monster from your Deck to your hand. That monster cannot be Summoned this turn. When this card is destroyed: Destroy all face-up Ritual monsters you control. Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon 1 non-effect Ritual monster from your hand, ignoring Summoning conditions (this Summon is treated as a Ritual Summon). This card gains effect(s) based on names of the non-Effect Ritual monsters you control:

Magician of Black Chaos: Once per turn: You can banish one card your opponent controls; inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.

Black Luster Soldier: All face-up monsters you control inflict Piercing Battle Damage. Once per turn, if a monster you control inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent; Your opponent returns 1 card from their hand to the top of their deck.

Crab Turtle: Once per turn; You can draw 1 card. The original ATK of all face-up "Crab Turtle" monster(s) you control become 2950.

The Masked Beast: Once per turn: You can send 1 card you control to the Graveyard; Take control of 1 card your opponent controls.

Garma Sword: Face-up "Garma Sword" monsters you control can attack twice during the Battle Phase.

Hungry Burger: When a monster is Summoned: Place 1 Hunger counter on "Hungry Burger". You can remove 1 Hungry counter from a face-up "Hungry Burger" you control; Destroy 1 card on the field.

Dokurorider: Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon 1 "Skull" monster from your Deck.

Hmm...

some extremely powerful effects, but given how underplayed (useless) most Ritual Cards are and how many ways Field Spells can be removed, its not OMG-UBER-BROKEN-CARD!!!

I dunno though still, need to play three cards from hand to gain that sort of power and control... can't decide... sorry.

If I had to pick one effect as the most powerful yet balanced, I'd say Masked Beast's. At the other end of the spectrum to suggest one that might need changing slightly: BLS's.

Nice idea for support though.

Crab Turtle seems a random choice btw.

Oh stuff added while I was reviewing. The destroy Ritual mosters on removal is appropriate and fixs the balance, as does the ATK restriction. No normal summons is nopt really needed.

Actually, it's pretty bad.

The only Level 7 or under monster (i.e. only one that's searchable easily) is Garma Sword. And even after that, I'd rather use BLS. Why?

- I can actually still Normal Summon or Set if I use BLS.
- If I use MST on this, you basically lose since you won't really have any other monsters on the field because of the first effect.

Magician of Black Chaos. Even if I could get it out, it's basically a -1 for 1000 damage. I'd rather use Tremendous Fire actually. Or Meteor of Destruction.

Black Luster Soldier: Decent-ish. Only because of the bouncing effect. But you can't search it so it's balanced. Ish.

Crab Turtle: Awesomesauce. If you actually find a way to make Crab Turtle consistent.

The Masked Beast: So bad. Reshef does it better.

Crab Turtle: Awesomesauce. If you actually find a way to make Crab Turtle consistent. The same way you would any other Ritual..?

The Masked Beast: So bad. Reshef does it better. ...itt permanent Enemy Controller is terrible.

Misread as destroy 1 you control :3

As in,

> You can search Garma Sword with Preparation of Rites.
> You can't with Black Luster Soldier.

Anything under Level 7 is a consistent Ritual. Above Level 8, unless it's really easy to get out (i.e. in the real game, only Gishkis or something like Demise which just has a badass effect), nah.

Only other way of efficiently searching it is Gold Sarco. Then, your opponent will see and pretty much predict whatever you're going to do next if you are running a vanilla Ritual. i.e. they will know you're running this. They'll save Warnings, Judgments, MST, Heavy Storms for that purpose. In total, that's 8 cards in the deck they can effectively ruin this with. Not to mention any Field Spells they may run.

And The Masked Beast, only because it's inconsistent. Otherwise, yes, amazing.

Besides, you have to stall for a turn after you activate an effect, leaving Magician of Chaos' effect kinda bad compared to BLS/Chaos Sorcerer which only apply to themselves. Ritual BLS will only trigger every 2 turns. You can only attack once every 2 turns with Crab Turtle if you draw. And you're asking to be set up against with all of them.

It's just so inconsistent, I can't see a way to play it well. Of course, the effects are retardedly amazing, but getting them used properly?

Forgive me if I've misunderstood...but are you trying to say that the only consistent Rituals are ones able to be searched with Preperation of Rites? What about Senju of the Thousand Hands, and Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands?
