ONE OF THE BEST TV SERIES EVER IMHO.

Sadly this occured:

Me: *Talks to younger kid at comic book store* Man, this Batman the Brave and the Bold is good, but not as good as Batman TAS.

Kid: TAS?

Me: This *Shows op*

Kid: Looks dumb.

how old was the kid you were speaking to?

The series began in Sept 1992 and ended in Sept 1995, after all

idk. Maybe it was the fact that he had a believable motivation. Maybe my Killing Joke fanboyism is leaking through here and I like the "one bad day" thing. Either way, I still like all the villains, just that Clock King holds a special place in my heart.

However, he's a 1-ep wonder. the other episode he was in was kinda lame.

Actually he was in another episode. I remember one scene from it:
The Batmobile had a device attaced to it that made it look like it was travelling really fast. Outside it "Hours were passing like minutes".

An average joe with a wife and son accidentally bad-mouths Joker. Joker makes him owe a favor. Ends with a BANG.

On another note Harley was cute back then. Not like the 30's silent movie star she is now. And her fools cap wasn't as long as it was in "The Batman".

I think I have four episodes of this show on video tape: Two of the Riddler and the other two explaining Robin's origin. Though we we're missing "What is Reality?"

--
Guy: "You'd promise to take me home."
Joker: "But I never did say ALIVE."

I gave Batman Beyond a try, watched the whole series through, was ok, but not as good

Oh History is cool...Specially the argumental Arc (Actually a direct to DVD movie) where the Joker resurface taking upon Tim Drake's mind...really good history...

Additionally Batman Beyond was some years ago added to the DC continuity (I asume they'll come back to the series again at some point of the DC Relaunch) And the Miniserie Involving a returned Hush was actually quite pleasing...

Oh yeah I watched "Return of the Joker", pretty good film

Except the US version they dumbed down the gun's killing method.

The original method was supposed to be you pull the trigger, the metallic spear with the bang flag comes out, you pull it again the spear fired.

The US aired version they changed it so that they 2nd time instead of the spear firing it just shoot out poisonous gas

Forgot that this one existed...it's awesome but it's more or less a what if situation story just like where you have a one shoot issue/book/arc that's totally connected to series but it's not consider as canon. Also Batman TAS is probably what got me into comic
