823=chan
Noburu frowned. Why can't I get anybody's attention? he wondered. Noburu looked around. He saw about one or two students paying attention. "HEY! CLASS! FOCUS, FOOLS!" Noburu roared. He wondered if that would work. Then he frowned, realizing that on the first day of school he had to yell. This was going to be a long year. -- Sora jumped. The teacher had yelled really loudly, and was now frowning at the class. She whispered to herself, " I don't think that's a good sign..."
Maghion Syaoran Light
The teacher's sudden roar had Ayu jumping in her seat. "Uguu" She said, unsure if anyone heard her or not. This teacher is sure full of surprises. At first he was type quiet and a nervous wreck and then he turned into a military teacher raging. After the teacher yelled, the class fell silent, you can hear a pencil drop. Quite sudden, she recieved another text message "Pikachu. Pika Pii Pii!" It sounds like an explosion against the sudden silence of the class. Quite a few heads turns towards her. Ayu quickly silenced her phone, hoping the teacher will not take notice. She is not usually a trouble girl who textxs in class, it must be her brother or mother worrying about her.
Admiral_Stalfos19
Aria sighed. Only Yakobu, Zac, Rachel and a few others that Aria had no idea of the names of had actually bothered to turn up to class. Of course, she knew that one of her own children was going to attend the class, but even then, that would only bring the grand total of attendees to 10... out of a possible 18 that were supposed to be here. Grabbing a large atlas and turning the page to France, she walked up to the random group of students that were conversing with each other in Japanese, and slammed the atlas down on the front-most student's desk. This seemed to frighten the girl, who noted that Aria was immensely tall for a woman, easily estimated to be above the 6-foot mark. The hard part to tell was that Aria was actually 6' 2", which was even considered tall for a man... never mind a woman. "From now on, no-one, and I mean no-one, will be speaking in anything other than English or French!" she shouted at no-one in particular of the group, before taking some time to calm down a bit more, "The latter of which we will be learning today. We start with a simple greeting: Bonjour, Mme At'ak. If you may repeat that sentence, please." "Bonjour, Mme At'ak," the class repeated in a mindless sounding tone... well, at least the six students in the class that were conversing with each other did. None of those six seemed to be too enthusiastic about it, but Aria continued nonetheless, walking over to Yakobu's location, which also happened to be at the front of the classroom. "Oh, and before we continue, I need you to pass the... stylo et du papier..." Aria waved a pen and paper in her left hand before commencing with her instruction, "...around the classroom and... écrivez votre nom." She then wrote the words 'Ms. At'ak' on the piece of the paper, which she had written on Yakobu's desk, before pushing it forward it to him. With any luck, at least he'd figure out what had to be done.
Grunt Issun
Yakobu grew the smallest faintest smile as he received the paper, 'And mom thought me spending those three years studying French were wasted!' he thought smugly, "Vraiment pas mal tous à une cession, si vous n'avez pas l'esprit me dire." Yakobu muttered, purposely just loud enough for the teacher to hear, as he wrote down his name on the piece of paper, "Mais alors, je suppose que vous devez commencer quelque part, non?" he shrugged, and handed the paper and pen to the next person in line, "Bien" he said, still showing off by speaking in French, "Maintenant, tout devrait être au clair ce que tout le monde a à faire, non?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow. 'Then again, if this class is filled with people like those two in the back, maybe they won't catch on so easily'
Admiral_Stalfos19
Aria raised an eyebrow, intrigued by what she was hearing. Whereas the rest of the class would likely have no idea what Yakobu was actually saying, Aria had essentially heard the words: "Really not bad at all an assignment, if you don't mind me saying. But then, I guess you have to start somewhere, right? Well, now everything should be clear that everyone has to do, right?" All this in French as well. Yakobu must've learnt it from somewhere beforehand, but even then; the chances that a French teacher would expect a student to already have known the language, and evidently be able to speak it within the first day, nonetheless, were just as likely as if one were to win the lottery all of a sudden. "Alors vous parlez couramment la langue Française, hmm?" Aria spoke in French, "Nice. Bon à savoir, nous avons un aller à Guy juste au cas où le reste de la classe étaient coincés sur une traduction, tout d'un coup." Aria walked back to her teacher's desk, and took a seat of her own. Suddenly, she looked back at Yakobu. "Peut-être vous aimeriez reprendre mes fonctions d'enseignement alors que je... faire quoi?" she asked Yakobu, still speaking in French, "Asseyez-vous? Détendez-vous? Obtenir mon salaire pour le travail que je suis censé faire? Quand je suis en fait simplement se prélasser autour, néanmoins? Et tu es le seul fait tout le travail dur?"
Grunt Issun
Yakobu's tiny faint smile grew slightly larger when she began speaking back to him in French, 'Oh this'll be a good class' he thought, then responded, "C'est exact, sensei, pour la question, je parle aussi l'anglais" to her first question, then nodded in agreement with her following statement. At her next suggestion he had to chuckle a little, even though it wasn't like him at all, it seemed easier for him to do in this atmosphere, "Non, non, ce n'est Sensei fine. Je pense que je vais vous laisser faire votre propre emploi" he replied, then under his breath, this time trying to make sure she WOULDN'T hear, jokingly said "Bien que je pourrait remplacer vous si vous étiez malade ou quelque chose"
Admiral_Stalfos19
Aria had just managed to catch Yakubo say something just after he declined her offer, and chuckled to herself. In terms of words, however, response was naught. After all, he said it the way he did for a reason. "Tu sais, ça fait longtemps que je n'ai jamais eu une conversation avec un autre étudiant, avant," Aria admitted, "En Français, ce qui est. Peut-être que c'est ce que je pourrais envisager un examen final; classe entière conversant les uns avec les autres, uniquement en français. Je veux dire, c'est pas comme si les conversations ne vont pas sur une ou deux heures ou... Mais longs les examens aller pour ces jours. Il pourrait même être l'un des rares bonnes examens jamais, oui?" Meanwhile, the pen and paper took a while to get around the six other students that were there. Two of them, who happened to have the same first name, were questioning each other on what exactly to put down. However, the kinks were all ironed out soon enough, and the pen and paper had landed on Rachel's desk in the end.
Sp1at
"ugggghhh. I hate French!" Rachel purposely yelled out. She received the paper and pen and wrote her name and passed it on to Zac. Seriously that kid in the front is such a try hard. Has it ever occurred to him that no one cares that you can speak Frnch fluently. "Seriously kid, no one cares that your fluent in French.... Well besides the teacher that is. Because really showing off isn't a good idea. It gets you nowhere in school, popularity wise. That's some off my advice to you kid. Your lucky I'm being nice to one of you try hards" Rachel spat seriously trying to get out of the room.
Myst
Toshiro walked in 1-5, as he stared in puzzlement. Rachel's loud tantrum made him leave his quiet classroom, to see what's going on. I think I'll stay here for a while, since 1-4 is getting too quiet, thought Toshiro. He walked towards where the French conversation was. "Bonjour, vous êtes le maître ici?", he asked Aria kindly. Of course, Toshiro knew that she was truly the teacher. He just wanted to be polite on his first day. He glanced at Rachel, who was glaring at him angrily. I guess Rachel hates French a lot, thought Toshiro. He turned back to Aria and Yakobu. "Je suis juste ici parce que vous les gars ont fait une raquette. Puis-je participer à cette conversation?", he said.
CrystalCyae
Katrina jumped. Almost literally. The teacher, the one who was a little fidgeted, and yelled loudly at the class. Very loudly. In fact, most of the students had gasped or jumped. Most. "Apologies, Mr Yamashita." She said softly, hoping some others would follow suit. At least to show they were focusing. Besides, Katrina HAD been focusing. She'd answered his question. Then again, this was Japan. They might work differently here, rather than over in Australia. In fact, most of what she'd seen at this school was far different than what she was used to. And it was only her first day. This somewhat did not bode well. But for the moment, she didn't worry. It wasn't like something bad was going to happen.
Grunt Issun
Yakobu shot a glare back at Angry Girl in the back, "Well" he said, this time in the English language, "It seems you can speak English, no? Well then, this little conversation could be much easier" he said, then turned to the new guy, "Bonjour" he greeted him quickly, before turning back to Angry Girl, "Now, as I was," he started, before turning back to the teacher, "If you don't mind, Sensei" he said, then turned to Angry Girl again, "People do not attend schools to become popular, most certainly I don't, my studies are FAR more important than any other human being that I'm not related to directly by blood." he told her calmly, "Now, Angry Girl, explain WHY I'm lucky you're..." He paused, "How did you put it? Being nice?" he asked, 'That's a laugh' he thought, "To a, ahem, 'Try-hard' like me?" he asked, "And once you're done with that, you may want to calm down a bit, after all, me and our sensei were just having a wonderful conversation." he finished up, then looked back at the sensei, "Je pense que cette idée est un merveilleux" he told her. Admiral_Stalfos19
Aria shook her head. She could've throttled Rachel right there and then for mocking Yakobu for being a try-hard. It was people like that girl that made Aria miss the good old days of corporal punishment; she quite liked belting people into submission herself. Nonetheless, she made her ways around the loss of corporal punishment, as she was always rough to those who lacked discipline. But first, Aria had to deal with a student from a neighbouring classroom, who obviously heared Rachel's big mouth. "Eh bien... Je suppose que je pourrais utiliser un autre étudiant, en tenant compte je n'ai que la moitié de ma classe ici aujourd'hui," she told the newcomer to the class, "Et quant à ce racket..." She then walked right up to Rachel's desk and grabbed her by the ear, only to pull her up to standing height. As much as most teachers would find this completely unnecessary, Aria frankly didn't care in the slightest. She was the sensei, she got to decide how best to discipline her students, and she alone. She was even far from hesitant to humiliate Rachel in front of the entire class if it would come down to it. But for now, grabbing the ear would have to suffice. "I don't know how you came up with the balls to even think about saying something like that, but I will NOT tolerate the mockery of another student in this classroom!" Aria scolded at Rachel, a look of pure venom in her eyes, and her fingernails only digging further into the poor girl's ear, "Now, are you gonna say you're sorry, or do I have to force an apology from you?!"
823=chan
Noburu sighed. This was not his day. The focused kids were still focused, but nobody else was. -- Sora jumped when Yamashita-sensei jumped. She immediately focused, and started writing down her warm-up, and also turned off her phone. She wanted today to be right for her. And, she wanted not to get yelled at. It was kind of a goal thing for anybody in her family. The focusing ran true. Squidward Tentacles
Zac scoffed when he received the note. He didn't think the kid was a try-hard. He didn't think of the kid any different, actually. He wasn't surprised when Rachel got in trouble, either. He did, however, think that the teacher was justified. Okay, Zac thought. Maybe Rachel isn't the best choice. He looked at the board. French wasn't his strong spot. In fact, pretty much the only thing he could say was, "Bonjour," but he figured it was similar to Spanish, a language he was actually okay at, because he recognized a few words. He decided that this teacher wasn't one to cross.
823=chan
Sora finished her warm-up, and looked around. The students were passing notes and talking, and having fun. Flirting, giggling, and being cute. Except her. Sora was the one who was ignored, the pathetic wimp in the corner. She wanted to have fun, but it wasn't working. Sora began to cry softly. -- Noburu looked to make sure everyone was working. Unfortunately, they weren't. One girl had finished, but was crying. He suddenly had an idea. Noburu said, "Everybody, you need to come up and introduce yourself, one at a time. First, Furukawa Touko." He smiled at the class. Jolta
"With pleasure..." Touko spoke in English. "My name is Furukawa Touko, nice to meet you!" she gave a moe-like charming smile before speaking the following in English. "She then sat down, turned behind, and gave a wide grin, mainly directed to Sora to cheer her up. She was glad the teacher brought up the intros, the first day of school needed that. CrystalCyae
Katrina shrugged. She may as well introduce herself next. It wasn't as if she was going to have loads of friends. And it would save to many more repitions. "I guess I'll go next." She said in English, before standing up. "My name is Wibbery Katrina... pleasure to meet... you all!" She said cheerfully, sitting down. Then she noticed Sora crying in the corner. She bit her lip. She didn't want to upset the teacher by getting out of her seat and talking, but she was willing to take a risk. After all, it's not like she was going to have her ear pulled at or anything. Getting out of her seat, she walked over to Sora. "You okay?" She asked.
Sp1at
Rachel stood up to her ear being pulled. Even though she didn't feel anything after breaking that ear far too many times she pretended it hurt and kept quiet. She then looked over to Zac for help, but it looked like he wasn't very impressed. She pushed teachers hands off her ear. "I'm sorry I called that kid a try hard and started some anger in his body. It was uncalled for and sometimes by big mouth can just take over." Rachel then sat down and picked out her notebook and a pencil.
823=chan
"Um, yeah, I'm all right. I, um, just bit my tongue." Sora replied. Crap, why'd I say that!? she wondered. Sora looked around, then stood up and said, "Hello, my name is Sora Sasaki, and it's good to meet you." she stammered. Sora quickly sat back down, and she sighed. Sora hated public speaking. -- Noburu was glad everything was working. He wanted them to have fun.
