New School, New Friends [S/A via OoC]

Touko stretched her arms under the morning sun. "And today's another day at school... I've still yet to make any friends. Hopefully today's the first day..."
She did her dailies. And my, no parents. Her dad must've gone to work.
"Time to leave..." Touko said after doing technically everything she had to, ranging from brushing her teeth to taking breakfast, and most importantly, leaving for school.

She grabbed her goddamn bicycle and cycled all the way to her school. When she was finally at her destination, she got off and parked it at a suitable position, before arriving at her class on the first floor - 1-3. Next, she sat at a seat. And waited for class. She was 30 minutes early.

[Grunt Issun]

Yakobu arrived at the school via car. He stepped out, holding a book he recently picked up in his hand, the cover, as well as the contents, were in English - Save for the occasional Greek word, which he didn't understand at all - Which is a language he finished studying four years ago. Though he was absorbed in his book, in his field of peripheral vision, he noticed the many... strange looking people around him, as always [i]'What's with all these people having such unnatural hair colors. By the looks of it, several of these kids don't even look like they're from anywhere in Asia... Europe, North America, and Australia seem to be the most common" [/i]Yakobu noted, as if it might mater at one point or another, though he knew it probably wouldn't. He looked at a nearby clock, [i]'I've got some time to kill, might as well read down here instead of class[/i]' He figured, then leaned against a wall and continued reading his foreign book.

[Maghion Syaoran Light]

"Bye Dad!" Ayu shouts as she grabs her favorite black bookbag with angel wings attached to both sides. He did not respond, probably too busy reading the news paper. Ayu ran to her father's bakery on the first floor, sure enough there he was on the front counter reading a news paper.
"Oh Ayu, have fun on your first day of school." He said looking up at her. "And I noticed you have not eaten anything. Grab something on your way out please"
"Yes father" Ayu answers as she grabs a taiyaki. Taiyaki's are her favorite and her father's is quite popular locally. Lucky for Ayu, the school is only two blocks down the street so it took no time to get there. Once there, Ayu took a look around. A lot of other students walking, talking, and waiting for class to begin. Ayu sat outside the school under a tree and start to nom on her Taiyaki.

"Bye mommy!" Rachel exclaims. Rachel opens the door to her moms baby blue Toyota Supra. It's a little chilly out because as she steps outside of the car her hair instantly is pushed back. Rachel grabs her backpack and slams to the door shut. Rachel waves to her mom and heads up to the school. As she comes up to the opening door she catches at least 5 guys staring senseless at her. She opens the door, but before she enters she turns around and shes a girl under a tree eating a type of fruit she's never seen before. Rachel lets go of the door and heads toward her.
"Hey there! I couldn't help, but ask what your eating. By the way I'm Rachel." Rachel says starting to brighten up.
She extends her hand for a hand shake.

"Papa!" Katrina complained. "I can walk to a school that's just down the road. No, I don't need you to escort me!"
She pushed her father gently aside, and slung her book bag over her shoulder.
"Just be careful dear." Her father said. "It's only your first day at a Japanese school. And you didn't learn enough of the Japanese I taught you."
Katrina sighed. "It's ok Papa. I know enough to understand most speech. Now, I'm going."
She hugged her father briefly, and walked off down the street to the school.

Arriving quickly, she glanced around. She still had time before class started, and she was bored. Glancing back down the street, she saw her father waving from the doorway. She held back from waving in reply. She wasn't in the mood. Not right now.
Reaching into her bag, she pulled out a pen and paper. While she had the time, she figured she should start writing that letter to her best friend. She knew she might not have time later on.
Looking around for a place to sit and write, she decided to sit under a tree outside the school. When the time came, she wasn't too far away, and hopefully wouldn't be late for class. Hopefully.
Walking over, she was about to sit down when she heard people on the other side of the tree. Glancing around the side, she saw two others.
"Uh, hi!" She said, walking around the other side the tree.

[OoC] Taiyaki is a fish shaped cake filled with red azuki bean paste .... not a fruit.[/OoC]

Ayu looks up and spots another girl extending her hand for a handshake. People seem to be a bit more friendly in Japan, Ayu though to herself as she shook Rachel's hand. "I'm Ayu, And this is called Taiyaki." Just then another person suddenly appears from behind the tree.
"Oh hi," she answers back. "I'm Ayu. And this is Rachel." Ayu proceeds to point to Rachel, still being fascinated by the taiyaki. "Oh, I got some extras" Ayu suddenly remembers, reaching into her bag. She had exactly two extras. What a coincidence, Ayu though to herself. "Help yourselfs"

[Sp1at]

"Taiyaki.... That's an interesting name, but nice to meet you Ayu." Rachel said grabbing one of the Taiyaki. "Thanks!"
Rachel takes a small bite to taste it. "yum it tastes sorta like sushi! I love sushi!"
Rachel turns to the girl behind the tree. She looked like she was dressed by her mother. But since Rachel didn't want to make a bad name for herself she kept quiet. The one thing that really made her rep back in Canada bad, because was huge potty mouth. Insulting people, but she's really trying to get away from that.
"Hey there!" Rachel muttered a little loud.
"So what class you all in? I'm in 1-5"

Hikari took a long yawn, stretched herself and glanced at the clock. She still had lots of time, so she didn't need to rush. Girl did her morning toilet, ate something, and before leaving to school, took a quick look in her brother's room. He appeared to be still asleep. It was always hard for Hikari to leave him alone. She was aware of the fact that despite being blind, he can do everything other people can, sometimes even better, but she was grateful for him because he raised her like a father. After sighing, Hikari took of from school. It wasn't too far from her place. After arriving she noticed that the class is completly empty.

To relax a bit before the classes, Hikari put headphones on and turned on some music.

Mayu woke to the sounds of buiness call between her father and one of his asccotiate. She changed to get ready for school as walked through The kitchen area of the house she grabed herself breakfast and sliped out the house. On her walk to school, she spent it thinking what type of people would be in her class and school. She started thinking about what her class were be like as she saw a group of girls under a tree. she walked by them completly not paying any attention to them. She soon found herself sitting in the grass next to the girls and looking up the sky.

Toshiro appeared mysteriously on top of a tree, as he stared at some of his grademates. He jumped down the 5 metre tree to the ground. He didn't feel anything. He turned to see Ayu and Rachel looking at him, astonished. He glanced up to the tree and back to his grademates. [b]"Oh, don't worry. I'm used to jumping off trees... Especially tall ones",[/b] Toshiro muttered. He walked up to the girls. [b]"Oh, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Toshiro Hitsugaya, Captain- I mean, I'm just an ordinary high school student",[/b]he said. [i]That was close... I nearly told them I was a Shinigami...,[/i] thought Toshiro.

Sora watched the other kids from her spot behind a tree. Sora sighed, remembering that she might be late to her class if she didn't get going. She walked to the school gates. Sora shivered, fearing she might still be recognized despite how she'd changed her appearance. When she walked in, she saw some girls were laying under a tree. Sora wanted to be there, but was definitely not ready. She steeled herself. Sora glanced around the gate. There weren't any bullies in sight, but she wanted to make sure. Sora walked over to the doors without talking to anybody. When she walked to her class, she saw a girl was already sitting there. Sora sat as far away as possible. She gently placed her books on her desk, sat down, and waited without looking at the smiling girl. Sora stared at the chalkboard.

Hikari noticed a girl walking in the class, and her timidness immediately woke up. She started struggling with herself, wondering if she should talk to her or not. On one hand, she was too shy to chat, but on the other, she was a bit lonely and cold try making some friend. After taking a few deep breathes, the slowly stood up and began working towards the girl, her legs shaking a bit.

[Mecha Love]

"Adios mama!" A masculine voice shouted down the corridor. A figure walked out a pleasant house and closed the door. He was was just over 6 foot tall, with broad shoulders and a rather muscular build, but not so much as so it would put his body out of proportion. The boy flicked his hair to one side and proceeded to reveal a smartphone from his trouser pocket, insert an ear phone cable and pop one earphone in each ear. He strided down the road with his hands in his pockets.
[i]First day of school here [/i]he thought to himself [i]Let's see what its like....[/i]
He reached again for his phone, turning the volume higher as to stop any negative thoughts creeping into mind. It worked, he found and he sang along to it until he saw a small group of people next to a rather tall tree, inside the school grounds. [i]Let's make myself known then![/i]
[color=#0000CD]"Hey!" [/color]He called, as he came closer to the little group. [color=#0000CD]"The name's Alex, Alex Stuart. I'm new here, and to the country in general, so it's nice to meet you!"[/color]

[Squidward Tentacles]

"Hmm... what to do...?" Zac mutters as he walks down a long corridor. He looks out a window, and sees a large group assembled at a large tree. "Guess I'll go see what they're doing." He rushes down the corridor, hoping no teachers notice him, and soon he's out the door, in the schoolyard. He yawns casually, slowing down. As he nears the tree, he yawns again. "Hello, all." He says with a smile. "Name's Zac. Zac Tanzaku. Year one, Class 5." He stretches, then plops down on the grass, and looks up at the clouds.

Touko looked out of the window. So many people under [s]Fluttershy[/s] a tree. Her smile just couldn't get warped out of reality. "So lovely, so friendly... I can see that Gaijin and locals alike are meant to live in harmony..."

She turned back, to see another girl. She approached her.
"Hello miss, I've never seen you before. What's your name?"

"Oh wow" Ayu said as a few other people joins the group under the tree "I have to remember to bring more taiyaki next time" Her first day in school and third day in Japan and she is already more popular than back in Florida. "I'm Ayu and I am from Florida, United States" She could not believe this group formed around her, normally no one bothers her and she bothers no one. Today, its as if she was born popular like those blonde cheerleaders born to rich parents back in United States. Ayu is not a blonde and she is certainly not a cheer leader. "What countries are you guys from?"

[b]"I'm from Rukongai",[/b] Toshiro said to Ayu, before leaving her in peace. He climbed the tall tree, this time, he just settled at the third-lowest branch, which was 2 metres above. He viewed the school in amazement. [b]"This would be as amazing as Seireitei, if it was more massive",[/b] Toshiro whispered to himself. As he sat there, just watching the school's views, time flew quickly. He awoke from his daydream, as he noticed 30 minutes had gone by. But everyone was still hanging around the tree. He jumped down to the ground, landing on his feet, as he walked towards Alex and Zac. [b]"Hey there, my name's Toshiro Hitsugaya",[/b] he said.

Mayu got up from watching the clouds and countinued to walk down towards the school. When she made it to the front of the school she noticed a boy sittting and reading a book. She walked over to him and sat down. She said" Hello, my name is Mayu. What's yours?" she was trying to be as nice as possible to the person she just met. she glanced down at the book and knew she had seen it on her fathers bookshelf but couldn't remeber it's name. Shethen looked back the boy and said " what class are you in anyways." She waited for a reply but was'nt certian on how he would react. She thought to herself about how bad it would be if he were to be a mean spirted person. She rembered her fathers 1st rule always greet people with kindness. She smiled as she waited for a response from thes male. She also was examning him trying to pick up any clue to the type of person he was on a normal bases.

[Grunt Issun]

Yakobu had reached a fairly interesting point in his book when some girl had decided to interrupt his session by greeting him. At first he had a hint of annoyance in his eyes, but he forced his expression to soften. On most occasions he'd just shoo someone away with an annoyed tone, but it was the first day, and he was trying to look on the positive side, [i]'Maybe she didn't know she was interrupting me, yeah, that might be it' [/i]he told himself, he put on a very thin fake smile and turned to her, "Yakobu Itoi, Class 5" he told her. [i]'My parents HAD told me to try and be more kind to people...' [/i]he recalled, [i]'Maybe if I'm kind to this girl, it'll at least satisfy them for now, then I can go back to my normal self' [/i]he thought, "It's a... pleasure to meet you, Mayu" he told her, thinking of his words carefully, though honestly it wasn't pleasant for Yakobu at all, "What class are you in?"

Sora blinked. "Um, me? I'm Sora Sasaki, and you are...?" She asked. It seemed like this was a dream. She hadn't talked to somebody without being made fun of since fourth grade. She looked at the person, and saw she was actually a girl. She was rather falt for someone in this grade. Sora wondered if she might have skipped a grade. She suddenly realized she was staring. Sora's face turned bright red, and she looked away.

Noburu looked at his clock. He suddenly realized that it was 8:30. [i]Oh, crap! I'm late for work! And on the first day of school, too. [/i]He got dressed, ran to his car, and sped to the school. He parked in the spot for teachers, and ran inside to his classroom. Two girls were already there, and he thought, [i]I got beaten here by TWO students[/i]. He started to write the class' schedule on the whiteboard.

[Jolta]

"Why yes, the name's Furukawa Touko. Just call me Touko-chan..." Touko smiled as she closed her unmatching eyes. "Don't be shy making a new friend, its part and parcel of life!"
She then opened them. "I guess we could talk a little... what are you good at? I love [s]trees[/s] speaking English, took me a few years to master the basics, but I guess with a little practice, you can do anything..."
She looked at the [s]Fluttershy[/s] tree outside the window, looking at the Gaijin and locals mingling. "If only I were that good at approaching people..."

"Oh lookie, teach is here..." she catwalked back to her seat, which was right in front and middle, where she got the upper-hand. She stood up, and immediately greeted with a bow, "Good morning, Sensei..."

A lot of manners, that's a lot of gut.

Hikari blinked a few times, and realized that actually, no one except her was in the class.

Hikari, really confused about what happened, sat at her desk again and laid her head on the desk. Maybe she was hallucinating because of not sleeping enough. Yeah, that probably was it, Hikari said to herself. She decided to take an opportunity before teacher comes to take a quick nap. She closed her eyes and fell into a soft sleep.

Rachel just started to ignore people and sort of day dream about what will happen next or what her friends in Canada were doing. She zones back in and looks around. She notices this cute guy sitting under the tree looking at the clouds. He wore a fine white t-shirt with a Quick Silver logo on it with cool designs around it and a pair of grey faded jeans. Rachel scotches over close to him.
"Hey hows it going. I'm Rachel! I didn't quite catch your name. I was thinking bot back home and didn't hear yeah." Rachel murmured dased, looking into his eyes.

Sora saw how the teacher had walked in, but didn't take note of it. She sighed and wondered if her classmates would come in soon. She saw one or two people come in, but not a lot. The teacher continued to write on the whiteboard with zeal. He continually erased and rewrote, leading Sora to think he was OCD.

Noburu saw two more people walk in, and hurried to write faster, but he just kept writing the wrong thing and was constantly erasing. He finally got it right, and sat at his desk. He noted how school was going to start soon, and only four students were actually in the classroom. He smiled to himself. He saw the two girls opposite each other talking, and smiled.

[Maghion Syaoran Light]

"Well guys, it looks like class will start any minute" Ayu said as she ate the last piece of her taiyaki. "Hopefully we can meet again" Ayu then swings her book bag with the angel wings around her shoulders and run through the doors into school. Then Ayu realizes she still does not know her class. She takes her book bag off and opens it, digging through it to find the letter the school sent her. "hmm lets see" Ayu whispers to herself as she pulled out her letter. Unfolding her letter, she sees that she is in room 1-3. Ayu looks up to see what number is the nearest room. Ironically enough, its room 1-3. She pulls out a notebook and her favorite purple pen and proceeds to close the bag and enter the class room. There are four students already here. Ayu took a seat at the far back corner of the class. The teacher already wrote something on the white board. It appears to be the class schedule.
