Battlefield 3

I got it today with all the pre-order stuff. Plays well, graphics stand tall, even on the PS3 version. Game itself is a rush. It doesn't have the characterization of Bad Company, though there's an interrogation like that in CoD: Black Ops.

I've only gotten in a bit of the multiplayer, and so far it isn't anything special. I mean, I love the, what, 56 man Conquest matches. The graphics are definitely better, but I'm not sure how much of a gameplay jump it's taken since Bad Company. At least you can go prone (thank bejesus). I've played 2 levels on multiplayer, both tunnel's, so I haven't experienced the full gameplay, but I like it so far. We'll see how MW3 stacks up when it releases in 2 weeks.

Discuss.

Supposedly has a better multiplayer than COD. Is that true?

That depends.
The PC multi is pretty messy. You need to open your browser to join a new server. It's pretty jank.
But gameplay? I would guess so, yes. MW3, IMO, will not be as good as BF3.

Urrrrggghhh the campers are not fun. It's a solid game but the servers are sooooooooo f***ed up right now.

I've only played the beta and I think it's a really good realistic shooter. The wide open maps are spectacular and the graphics are breathtaking. I love the Rush game mode. My only problem with it is that it's so focused on teamwork and the load-outs start with barely anything and it can be very tedious to get upgrades especially with the Jet.
