Why is ragnarok hated?

The only reason I hate him at all is that he made our chat logs public (I am extremely against sharing the words of another to ANYONE without their expressed permission), and he's threatened to kill me, my friends, and our families many many many times. As well as he leeches into our lives when the slightest hint of him getting warned (for valid spamming at that), makes him one member where it's impossible to do my duty on this website properly (and his posts force a kind of manipulative standardization which I do my BEST to prevent). Nor does he bother to prove his worth of posting cards like the rest of us (this would mind you; and I've told him as well, make all but a few of the hate from him disappear entirely).

 

Otherwise, I rather admire him for various reasons. Whether it's his school of choice, or the culture he was exposed to in his past, his persistence etc. I've even restored a few of his deleted posts that ask valid questions, despite being horribly mis-worded, but he's gone back to delete them; much to the topic poster and my dismay. As well on the medium where he cannot record my words easily (skype), I've defended him quite a bit despite his difficulties at social conversation. I've all the reason in the world to hate him, but I do do my best to respect him when I can, even if it doesn't match up to his standards of respect I do try. Just... my nature. Can't completely hate anyone.

Wow O_O. That's pretty complicated, Mod jobs must be hard.

Mhm... Some of us have personal reasons, some of us have literal reasons (like being generally upsettingly bad at the game/not posting cards), some of us a mixture, some of us can appreciate him on top of that but still find him problematic, etc. We each have our own reasons, but also understand why the newer folk enjoy him around. Really, a complicated mess.

People hate Rag because s/he has a habit of posting stupid comments while seeming to know little about the game. I don't hate Rag. Every now and then, I get a comment from him/her that raises an eyebrow. Other than that, s/he is sort of helpful to people new to RC and/or the Yugioh game in general, especially when the other people are posting dick responses trying to be sarcastic or spamming "OP'd" and "bad pic."
