Wait. Rights to a movie special? Do they intend on creating a movie special...?

...Or are they just getting the rights to the Samurai/RPM crossover? I watched it on the Nick site, and it wasn't as bad as you think it is. There was only one Red Ranger supporting the Samurai rangers for a reason. He went to the dimension while his team stayed behind in case the Samurai Rangers entered their dimension. What I don't get is why they didn't show the rangers returning home? Oh well. Can't argue about it now.

A team up is an episode where two FULL teams come together and defeat a villain. Clash of the Red Rangers was nothing more than a cameo of RPM Red I will never consider it a team up. Just a TV special.

They are going to have a Movie for Samurai in the same way Mighty Morphin had a theatrical release this one will to.

Well you should get one and then add me on it because my break is gonna be long.

Also the Super Hero Taisen stuff:

The Giant Machine: While the 2 evil organizations organized a plan for the Heros to fight each other, they ended up fusing parts of their warship together in an effort to control the universe. It looks like a combination of DaiShocker's centipede and The Gigant Horse.

Super Drill Rocket Go-BusterOh: The Fourze Driver's Super Astroswitches have a way to link to the Go-BusterOh to give it Drills and Rockets on it's legs and hands, which is what is used to beat The Giant Machine.

Power Swaps: The Goseigers give Decade, Blade, and Ryuuki Gosei Cards in order to defeat the Crab Laser.

Eiji can form his Core Medal Combos into Ranger Keys for the Gokaigers to do a Rider Change. Marvelous as TaJaDor, Joe as Shauta, Luka as RaToraTa, Don as GataKiriBa, Ahim as PyToTyrannosaurus, and Gai as SaGouZou.

Decade apparently got alot of cards from Alata, not sure if that's a Change Card or a Super Goseiger Card or what.

The Hero Army: All 36 Sentai Teams and 40 of the main Kamen Riders join to defeat the combined forces of the DaiZangyak and the DaiShocker.

Clash of the Red Rangers is considered a technicality of a team up (At least one Ranger from a previous team appeared, even though we never see Scott himself, and he made a pretty decent excuse for it). I mean, Forever Red just had all the Red Rangers up to Wild Force (The current season at the time) team up. You can't say Clash of The Red Rangers is not a team up without saying Forever Red wasn't one either or even Once a Ranger from Operation Overdrive, which had one Ranger from 5 previous teams (4 of which were of seasons going backwards and that of Mighty Morphin' Season 2 after the switch), which was also based off of the 30th Anniversary special of Super Sentai with Boukenger, but taken a different approach with different rangers teaming up, meaning that they had to create their own original footage (Minus the Sentinal Knight transformation). It was ridiculous, but I knew why they did it. I'll explain it later if you don't already know.

Well, let's hope that Saban had learned their lesson from the Mighty Morphin' and Turbo movies (I hope to God that they do! I just hope it isn't going to be an attempt to adapt 199 hero Great Battle. Cause that would fail without finding out how the other Super Sentai previous to and one season after Zyuranger would even exist. True they could create a whole dimension with them as the main rangers and just that, but what about Goseiger? I mean, why should people get mad if Saban attempts to make Angels an actual alien race?). I'm also sure that there might be at least one script rewrite during production. I assure you it will happen one way or another. Denial won't be something people will do if it actually happens.

Also, did I remember any of you guys mentioning Toei reshooting the Legend War for Power Rangers' 20th Anniversary? Well, if not, then here is the link that explains it all:

EDIT:
Also, Greiga, I have Skype. You can talk to me. Just not now. Have to get off my comp now.

I don't count a team up a team up unless this:

1. It shows all participating Rangers unformed.
2. They have a believable story as to why they are together and not just thrown together randomly.
3. It needs to have all said Rangers have one big morphing sequence and of course with the roll calls and the colored smoke.

Since the Red Ranger never unmorphed in Clash it marks of 1 and 2.

Since Samurai is a complete copy of Shinkenger I have just gone ahead and considered the Go-Onger and Shinkenger teamup cannon for Samurai as well just replacing the characters with their PR counterparts.

Sailor Moon's 20th Anniversary

The Sailor Moon anime, co-produced by TV Asahi, and Toei Animation, started airing only one month after the 1st issue of the manga (created, written and drawn by Naoko Takeuchi) was published. With 200 episodes airing from March 1992 to Feb 1997 on TV Asahi, Sailor Moon is one of the longest 'magical-girl' Anime series. The Anime has a super successful merchandising campaign of over 5,000 items, which contributed to demand all over the world and translation into numerous languages. Also, Italy is getting it rebroadcast in northern-hemisphere autumn 2010, also getting permission from Takeuchi who will be releasing new artwork to promote. Sailor Moon consists of five separate arcs. The titles of the series are Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S, Sailor Moon SuperS and Sailor Moon Sailor Stars.

Toei regained control over the license to distribute Sailor Moon outside of Japan in 2004. Sailor Moon Anime stop running on America air and no more merchandise around 2003. On February 4, 2010, Toei began negotiations to re-license the entire series globally. After a bidding war with Toon Makers, DIC Entertainment acquired the rights to the first two seasons of the Sailor Moon franchise in 1995,. Carl Macek adapted the first few episodes for an English-speaking audience, and was then replaced by Fred Ladd and Lisa Lumby-Richards. 6 episodes were omitted because of a lack of interest or inappropriate for the target audience, the total episode count for the original adapted episodes to 65, the minimum number of episodes required for strip syndication on U.S. television, stopping mid-way through Sailor Moon R.

The episodes were each cut by several minutes to censor plot points or visuals deemed inappropriate for children, and to allow the insertion of brief "educational" segments called "Sailor Says" at the end of each episode. The remaining 17 episodes of Sailor Moon R were not adapted until 1997 after the series gained popularity in North America and were treated in much the same way. In August 2007, Toei held a poll to determine viewer interest in potential series to make available for Video on Demand. There were 50 options, including popular titles such as Sailor Moon, Digimon, and Ojamajo Doremi. The results of the poll show that 2535 out of 3979 votes—63.7 percent—had been placed for the Sailor Moon series. The Sailor Moon anime is currently part of a subscription service in Japan where premium members are allowed full access to their titles.

In May 2009, Funimation Entertainment released a poll for mostly North Americas to gauge consumer interest in potential DVD releases; one option was "re-dub of entire Sailor Moon series." This helped viewer interest rise, and got many fans' hopes up that Funimation may indeed license Sailor Moon. A fan campaign, organized by former members of the SOS (Saved Our Sailors) group, continued to survey fans to gain their opinions on hypothetical details of a redub (if it happens). The results have not been publicly revealed. Due to its resurgence of popularity in Japan, the series returned to the airwaves on September of 2009.

In 2010, one of several YouTube videos featuring Sailor Moon was removed by Funimation, citing copyright infringement. The company later commented that, despite their attempts to acquire the rights to the series, the company does not have the rights yet. Kodansha Comics USA announced that they would be reprinting Sailor Moon in English in new deluxe editions beginning in September 2011, along with its prequel, Codename: Sailor V. Hot Topic has also licensed the exclusive apparel rights to the franchise, and has been offering T-Shirts both online and in Hot Topic stores, along with a Halloween costume as a part of their new costume line; leading some fans to hope that the anime will be licensed for an American release. The first episode of Sailor Moon (Crybaby Usagi's Magnificent Transformation) aired in Japan on March 7, 1992. I love Sailor Moon so much, since I first read an article about it in 1995 before the dub aired. I was so disappointing when it ended in a 'cliffhanger' and felt like it took 'forever' for the new episodes to air..... which aired first in Canada and then on Cartoon Network which I did not have at the time.

(From the Henshin Grid)

??? What was the point of that? Bad enough that Greiga doesn't stay on topic (Always talking about what episodes of Go-Buster he watched and what it was about), I actually thought that you, the Owner of the club, would set things straight and keep on topic, but NNNNOOOOOOOO!! You're doing the same thing. If there's a topic, we stick to it until there's nothing left to talk about.

And I'll start a new one. Referring to the link I found, it turns out that Saban WILL be adapting Goseiger, but figuring out whether the Goseiger or Gokaiger adaptation will be the 20th Season for the anniversary is yet to be known. And don't pester me, Lovely, saying that Saban isn't going to adapt Goseiger. When's the last time you read that blog? It could easily have been changed now, since Toei is now going to reshoot the Legend War with only the Sentais adapted into Power Rangers (Which means DaiRanger is out), and how they're going to get the Titanium and Spirit Rangers into that footage might be extremely difficult. Oh well. I'm not going to make my head hurt trying to figure it out.

Gatchamen and VR Troopers....wow

Gatchamen(or Battle of the Planets) was something my parents grew up on...I actually like it.

And VR Troopers, another great show I used to watch. Another type of show that was similar to Power Rangers, would be something called(see if this is a blast from the past for any of you), "Big Bad BeetleBorgs".

Sorry if its off topic, but Lovely mentioned those two shows and I had to comment LOL

VR Troopers (Once known as Cybertron because of the pilot episode presentation with JDF) would have been a great show, but it was ruined because of the fan craze towards JDF when it was presented, in which led to him eventually returning to MMPR. If JDF had been able to multitask between shows, if it's even possible, then I would have watched VR Troopers reruns as much as I did with MMPR reruns. Oh well. Too late now. Also...

If any of you watched the Kamen Rider Decade movie All Riders vs DaiShocker, did someone catch Kuuga's first fight scene as a strange one? Kamen Rider X is...

MASKED RIDER?!

I'm confused. Was Kamen Rider X the original Japanese name and Masked Rider was the adapted name?

Lol what? I'm perfectly on topic. The club is mainly a PR/Sentai/KR club, so that's what I discuss.

Hiromu's weak point seems to just be "chicken". If he sees one he freezes up, but the word apparently isn't as horrible to him as the real thing/picture.

Yes, Masked Rider is the adapted version.

Oh also I forced Kamen Rider into here and Lovely seemed to be like "ok cool" and suddenly we were a tokusatsu club.

Also, yes, the Power Rangers Legend War will have all of our exclusive rangers and stuff. Apparently there is evidence that casting called for a black ranger but this could simply be a returning legend and not Gosei Black. Or, the Goseigers could be an evil team of rangers. I just don't want them to be the next season when Gokaiger is obviously the better choice, since the Gokaigers actually use the keys from the Sentai Legend War.

Were more than just that. -_- Why not just celebrate all that Super Hero teams have to offer?

We are still a Power Rangers and Sentai club and our main focus is going to be on them but we can still talk about other super hero teams to.

And just to say I only watch Sentai and Live Action Sailor Moon no other tokustastu not even Kamen Rider.

And is it such a bad thing? I want to try to bring in more to talk about. Half the time this club seems dead.

Nobody said it was bad, I'm just saying what I see.

Watch Kamen Rider W when you can. Just google "Kamen Rider W episode x facebook" when x is the number you want.

The female Riders can be badass, too. You just got to give it a chance.

Also, Greiga, I think the roll call for a Black Ranger was referring to the Shadow Ranger who appeared in Turbo and In Space. I mean, we never knew who he truly was, he could be Zordon's son, and I'd believe he is an Eltarian Ranger. If that's the case, then there should be like a story for him. Here's my idea of his origins

The Shadow Ranger was the youngest warrior in the Eltarian Army's history, but because he is the son of Zordon, he was allowed to join. When Zordon had left Eltar thousands of years ago, the youth was devastated, believing that he may never see his father again. Around the events of Turbo, about two weeks before Zordon and Alpha 5 left Earth, returning to Eltar, the almighty youth had strangely found a morpher in his own home. After nearly touching it, he became the Shadow Ranger and teleported to Earth. Eventually hearing about what had happened on earth and who the Power rangers are, he decides to fight for Earth indirectly, only helping the rangers if he believes it helps to advance his mission.

That's just a rough idea. The real origins might be better though. But that's just my guess.

W is a detective show except there is henshin and action. Also the characters have depth and are amazing and the character who calls most of the shots at the beginning is a girl.

Philip is the guy with the book and is Cyclone/Heat/Luna/Fang.

Shotarou is the detective who goes out and stuff and is Joker/Metal/Trigger.

Also yes iirc the Shadow Ranger was from Eltar or w/e.
