Why you want to join: Because there's no Super Sentai club.
Favorite Ranger: AbareKiller/White Dino Thunder Ranger, Wolzard Fire/Wolf Warrior, and Great Swordman Zubaan/Sentinel Knight

If you guys still need a yellow, I'll take that spot. Otherwise put me down for another black.

Also, I've been actively following Gokaiger, and yes, it's awesome. They don't QUITE combine with previous mecha though (Barring GaoLion/Red Lion Wildzord and Machalcon/Eagle Racer and Bear Crawler's son). More like their Mecha summons a copy of the mecha in question and they combine with that. It ends up getting explained in a deleted scene from the movie that all the previous Mecha/Megazords (Barring GaoRanger/Wild Force and Go-Onger/RPM, apparently) were destroyed in the Legend War seen at the beginning of episode 1. This also killed Ninjamon/Ninjor and GunMajin/Auric.

Turbo? Meh, it wasn't that great, mainly since its source material Carranger was a parody of Sentai so they had to basically wholly rewrite the plot.

Interestingly enough, In Space and RPM themselves were wholesale rewrites of the source material (In Space's counterpart Megaranger took place in a high school and had a virtual reality motif, while Go-Onger was rampant silliness and lighthearted fun)

Carranger's the series that they adapted into Turbo. It's immediate predecessor was Ohranger (Which became Zeo) and it was succeeded by Megaranger (Which became In Space). Carranger was a parody of Super Sentai as a whole, featuring themes like the importance of traffic safety and car magic as well as having one of the main villains and Red Racer (the Red Ranger, obviously) fall in love over the course of the series.

Yeah, it was weird.

Or DragonRanger/MMPR Green and AbareKiller/White Dino Ranger, both of whom were too awesome to survive their series.

Just curious: How much do you guys know about Super Sentai?

I found out about Sentai quite recently honestly and have only wathed one episode (that being Gokaiger 01). So, nothing.
