JerryFreelance
Which is better, do you think? Why is Designator unlimited, while Mind Crush remains limited? Discuss.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Because Mind Crush can be activated during your opponent's turn as well?
CrabHelmet
Because Mind Crush discards all copies of the selected card? Although D.D. Designator also provides a hand look. I prefer Designator myself.
JerryFreelance
Slayer: That's probably right, and Crab Helmet, that's prolly it too... But I also prefer DDD...
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
It's sort of a whole mindframe thing as well, about doing it on your opponent's turn, because then it's easier to remember what the card was. If you do it the next turn you might be like "Uhhh.... what was the card?" Another advantage is it stops from combos, such as your opponent activating Dark Explosion and then summoning the monster they just added, or adding a Gadjet from their deck to their hand, and then using it while your opponent prepares the Ultimate Offering OTK. Axiom_Nor
I prefer Mind Crush, because it lets you activate it during their turn, when you most likely will see their hand.
God GAK
They are both good. Basically, designator removes 1 card from the hand, which means if it is DW it doesn't get effect and it is owned but it can only be activated during your turn. On the other hand, mind crush can be activated during your opponent's turn, which owns gadgets btw, and discards all copies of this card. This is a minus when you are playing against DW so i guess that both are cool. I prefer Mind crush though :P
Abstract [Atrocity]
Mind crush: Can be used on stuff like Stratos, Sangan, ect. Eliminates the threat before it can be used. DD Designator: Less usable, but let's say your opponent is running Exodia... good luck winning, pal
CrabHelmet
Also, I've been running a deck lately based on abusing Convulsion of Nature, and both of them are godly.
God GAK
Yeah.., Convulsion of the nature+Mind Crush/D.D. Designator = OWNAGE
