I wanna show you a DNA monster first:

Now, onto the first chapter:

Chapter 1: Recognition

I stood up to the building. 3 tall buildings stood: Uria Red, Hamon Yellow, Raviel Blue. Chancellor Chazz convinced my father to do it. Here I was. The Duel Academy. I thought that I might never make it here. but, here I was anyway. I looked at my deck. Cursed Utopia monsters. 1 of a kind. I stepped into the duel academy, in quite a pickle. I remembered something pretty soon. My recognition duel with Professor Syrus. He was a strong duelist. Luckily, I wasn't up first though. I walked straight to the room I was assigned to. There, I found 2 people, who introduced themselves as Aaron Wheeler: and Yami Muto: And I introduced myself as Eden Kaiba, the son of Seto Kaiba. I had something called the Saint's Gift, which explained as much of my dueling skill. Then a bell rung. The Chancellor Chazz Princeton was calling on the students on the bell. He stood there broad, tall and in his usual garb: Then he announced, "Hello returning students and new students. Today, we announce the Recognition Battles. Where you have to battle an assigned dorm professors. Professor Syrus Truesdale, for Uria Red. Professor Alexis Rhodes for Hamon Yellow. And Professor Igen Teikoku for Raviel Blue. He appeared with 2 different color eyes, 1 gold, 1 white. He wore a long blue jacket and his hair was straight, and he had a big scar, and he wore a cloak:Then he said,"My name is Igen, and I'm the new professor. Any questions about me?"

"What archetype do you run?" said a kid in the crowd.

"Majestic Empire monsters. Who's next?"

"Just how good are you?" Yami asked.

"My experience isn't limited to your knowledge."

Just then Chazz spoke, "Alright, now we will run names out of the box. Aaron Wheeler for Syrus. Damian Pegasus (Pegasus' Grandson) for Alexis, and then next Eden Kaiba for Igen. The battles will begin tomorrow. Now head back to your dorm to prepare. Dismissed!"

Hours later, back in my dorm, i thought about tomorrow. My first year, and I had to battle the strongest professor. He was stronger than Doctor Crowler. And I had to duel him tomorrow, and I was afraid, even though I had the Saint's Gift. Then, after every one else was asleep, so I went outside. I stared out to the clouds, wondering what it would hold for me. What Genesis (The Saint) had in store for me. He marked that one random night, everyone who was supposed to own a powerful DNA monster, each 1 different, only 6 dragons. A DNA monster. I thought about what it would be like to own one. So powerful. Then, I headed back to my room. I saw something peculiar. Though may not sound peculiar, Yami was out of his bed, and a mark on his bed. The Saint's Mark. I looked around. I saw something weird in the hallway. Tracks. I followed them. It was strange indeed. As I followed them, I saw something. Something else that struck me as strange. A strange crystaline dragon was talking to Yami. He introduced himself as Utopis. Utopis. I've heard that name before. It was familiar. I pulled out my Duel Dex. I looked it up. Several articles popped up. I clicked the first one. I read: "Utopis: the Dragon of Stars is the dragon of all goodness, of extreme serenity and great power. A DNA monster beyond compare to monster. Also, It said that Elementros and The Staff of Utopis were required for it. He was holding a staff and there was a pinkish dragon next to him. That was both of them. And then I saw a flash in the corner of my eye. I turned and saw what was there. He had blueish wings and blue, glowing crystals. He had green eyes. Then I saw a sword in his hand and a pinkish dragon. I came up to him. "Who are you?" I asked

"I am Xeros, you guardian spirit. Your protector. Genesis has sent me to guard you with my life," said the Dragon.

"I thought y-you w-w-were a myth........."

"I have been sent here to protect you so I'm obviously not a myth. Now take my power and use it to protect you."

"Okay.."

Then a card appeared in my hands. "Xeros, the Dragon of Phantoms." Then suddenly, I woke up. It was a dream. Yami was n his bed. But then, I decided to check. I drew three cards from the top of my deck. I read them in my mind, "Elementros, The Sword of Xeros, Xeros, the Dragon of Phantoms." It was no dream. Time had sped through it. This was the end of usual life, and the start of something new. A prophecy.
