Nɇvɇrmorɇ
Indeed. And Dead Beat is all based on a story he wrote. Which he says is currently being made into a comic book! I can't wait for that.
TwinSeed
I didn't know he wrote a story. Though, on his actual webpage, it lists some poems he wrote.
Nɇvɇrmorɇ
Yeah. He's written a few. On villainsandvaudevillains.com, there's a tab with his stories.
TwinSeed
Can't really say that I'm surprised. I'll bet they're somethin', considering there's a whole album and comic book based on them.

Nɇvɇrmorɇ
Yeah, Curtis is a really cool writer. He was also talking about releasing a book with all of his poetry in it. But I think that got delayed due to the new Rufus Rex CD, new Creature Feature CD, and the comic book. xD
TwinSeed
Well, in my opinion, he should wait until he has about 300 poems, like Edgar Allen Poe xD
Nɇvɇrmorɇ
haha, reading his poetry, it seems to come naturally to him. He could probably just pick any topic and write a lovely horror poem about it. lol
TwinSeed
Ehh, some people are like that. Sadly, I'm not one of them :/

Nɇvɇrmorɇ
Yeah, I'm pretty much there too. I never show my parents or family my stuff though. I post it on a website.
TwinSeed
I used to, on youngwriterssociety.com, but I haven't been on there in a long while xD Haven't had any inspiration.
Nɇvɇrmorɇ
I posted my stuff on poemofquotes.com I haven't done anything new either. I'm thinking of just going with stories. It's just a little easier for me.
TwinSeed
I wrote the plot for a mystery novel, but I don't think that I could ever write a novel. MAYBE a novella, 100 pages or so, but not a novel. So this isn't spam as well: Have you heard the song Aim for the Head? It's about zombies. Do you think that they'll make another song on zombies, considering how widely used the theme is these days and the fact that they already have one out about them? Nɇvɇrmorɇ
I love Aim for the Head. I'm actually learning it on guitar. I imagine they'll release more songs about zombies. Like you said, they're pretty popular today. Plus there have been many good zombie movies to base their songs on.
TwinSeed
I'd rather play drums. Y'know, something that takes patience and control, and doesn't eat your nails and make you bleed. Knowing them, they may even attempt to create a new monster ._.
Nɇvɇrmorɇ
Playing guitar takes a LOT of patience and control I'll have you know. I've been playing guitar for quite a while, and I've never bled. But if you do, you quickly grow dead skin on the ends of your fingers to protect them. haha, I'm sure it would be really cool. They're very creative minds.

TwinSeed
I was actually referring to your "growing dead skin" contradiction. Really? I didn't notice. Time for a re-watch. EDIT: *1 minute in* Icwutudidthar!
Nɇvɇrmorɇ
Yep, grow dead skin. haha, it took me a second or third listen before I snapped my head up and proclaimed it loudly for everyone around to hear it.
TwinSeed
How did he put it... I'm trying to remember a certain line while listening to a completely different band xD I think Curtis phrased it as "a mask of crimson death", right?
