Spell
Pay any amount of life points you want: Your opponent takes damage equal to the amount of life points paid. If your opponent has less than 2000 life points after damage is inflicted: Your opponent's life points become 2000. This card's activation and effect cannot be chained to. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase this turn.

This card cannot be chained to. The Match Ends in a Draw.

Should be just:

If your opponent's life points would drop to 0 (by this card's effect); their life point total becomes 1 instead.

But u need a limiter as well i suppose.

But then you can never finish them off. It needs a limit to how much damage it can cause. Maybe a maximum of 2000?

Just limit the amount of damage you can give, and the amount that the opponent must have left after the effect is activated.

"You cannot activate this card if your Life Points are 3000 higher than your opponent's Life Points. You cannot activate other cards in the same chain as this card. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase in the same turn you activate this card."
Make it a Normal spell, and it becomes usable.
