During the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to its owner's hand. After this card has been Normal Summoned: You can send 2 Spirit Monsters from your hand or side of the field to the Graveyard; Place this card on the field (from your hand or Graveyard). When this card is Summoned or placed on the field: Send all the cards in your opponent's hand to the Graveyard. [img]http://i55.tinypic.com/25k35e8.png[/img] [b]Effect:[/b] This turn, when you Summon a Spirit Monster: You can treat that Summon as placing it on the field instead. [img]http://i53.tinypic.com/1zvu3oz.png[/img] [b]Effect:[/b] When a Spirit Monster's effect activates when it is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, and your opponent activates a card effect in response: Negate the activation of that effect, and send it to the Graveyard. ragnarok1945 Posted October 16, 2011 Report Share Posted October 16, 2011 I'm curious Max, when it's just placed on the field, you said that's not the same thing as summoning so that means the spirit monster is not going to return to the hand during the end phase right? [/quote] It's not the same. In the same way 'Returning' a card to the field is not the same as Special Summoning it. Because it wasn't Summoned, its final effect does not trigger; on the pay-off that a lot of current Spirit Monsters have Summon Effects, so won't be able to activate them either.
