Pokemon: Future Sight [Not Accepting/Started/IC]

"As far as I can tell, we originated here. That should be 'why' enough, unless it's false," Glaceon said flatly. "I do want to see what's further in the mountains. If there's no snow, then I'm obviously not from around here. There's simply no plausible reason how I became a Glaceon in a non-icy habitat."

Even though most memories were a blank gap, Glaceon could trust she at least knew how Eevee evolution worked. She hadn't needed to relearn speech or how to use her techniques, after all, so the only things that seemed to be missing was details. Lots and lots of details.

Glaceon flicked her tail, knocking one remaining berry towards the Nidoran. "Here, you're welcome," she said lazily. "Now, who else do you want to come, if anyone? I'm fine without others, but you probably have someone else to drag along."

[Grunt Issun]

Charmeleon growled a little as Shinx was able to dodge most of his Ember attack. Charmeleon then raised an... eyebrow? at Shinx's new move, charging up his power, "Looks shiny" he noted, "But let's see how Shiny it can be... In the middle of a SMOKESCREEN!" Charmeleon said, with a smirk, then opened his mouth, black smoke billowing out from it, surrounding the field,[i] [/i]yet somehow, Charmeleon still felt a little worried that Shinx's next attack would hit, and hard. Charmeleon shook these thoughts off, [i]'All I've got to do is wait for his attack to leave him open, then take a direct strike at him!'[/i]

[i]Smokscreen! Rats! Guess I'll have to take my chances. I cant waste this, I cant waste a charged-up spark! [/i][color=#FFD700]"You think a little smokes gonna stop me!? Think again! SPAAAAARKKKK!!!!" [/color]Shinx launched a full-on attack at Charmeleon, this time LITERALLY ablaze with lightning. That charge really wasnt a light show in this case.....

Shinx charged at the spot where he last saw Charmeleon, snarling. [color=#FFD700]"Embers of mere fire cannot stop me! I am Lighting! I am COLD FIRE!!' [/color]Shinx shouted, unaware of what he was saying, for some strange power had been unlocked within him. Charmeleon had unknowingly unlocked the gates of Shinxs strength. Shinx blasted through the smoke straight at Charmeleon, glowing like the sun. He impacted so strong that it sent Charmeleon flying....

[Grunt Issun]

Charmeleon flew straight off the side of his cliff at the impact of that attack. He was able to catch his feet on the side of a nearby tree, looking straight back at the black cloud of smoke, he thrusted himself forward with all his might, "RAAAAAAAAAGE!" he shouted in pure... well, rage. Charmeleon started to glow red, his claw glowing red, blue, green, yellow, and some strange shade of pink. He brought his claw straight down on where Shinx was when he had been hit by his attack. Charmeleon was a bit worn out from that attack, but he felt he had enough energy left to get a good Rage going if Shinx kept attacking without the Charge up.

Shinx let out a yelp of anger and leapt backwards. Then he composed himself, sat up, shook himself, and said; [color=#FFD700]"Okay.....THAT hurt." [/color]Shinx's voice became odd, and strangeld sounding. [color=#DAA520]"I mean, I was sleeping nicely, and YOU woke me up. I dont really like getting woken up." [/color]stranger, stranger, became his voice, until it was little more than a rasp. [color=#8B4513]"And now I'm mad. Toooo bad for you. DARK PULSE!" [/color]A wave of darkness erupted from Shinx's body, giving Charmeleon a little surprise. Shinx then seemed to stumble a bit, and then recovered himself.

[Grunt Issun]

Charmeleon was knocked a bit backwards by the Dark Pulse, caught off guard by the new attack, "Sleeping!?! You were the one who came up to ME!" Charmeleon yelled back, the attack building his rage, making him angry. Charmeleon drew his arm back, his flame started to burn larger and brighter, his arm started to glow all different colors yet again, "So take this! RAAAAGE!" he shouted again, thrusting has claw forward at him again.


Back up in Mewtwo's castle, Mewtwo was sitting down and resting, Ninetails next to him, doing the same. "So, Mewtwo, you ever think about, you know, after we kill off all the humans, that w-" Ninetails had started to say, when the door to the "Throne Room" was nudged open once again, this time a Dragonair appearing in the doorway, Mewtwo looked at the Dragonair curiously, "Dragonair? What is it?" Mewtwo asked coldly, slightly annoyed that Dragonair had just burst in, "Oh MT, no need to be like that!" she said, flying up to him and partially wrapping around his body, Ninetails gave a slight glare at her, Mewtwo stared, still curiously, "M... T?" he asked, then shook his head, "Anyway, like I asked, do you have any news?" He asked again, "Right, sorry. I came to tell you that Honchkrow and his 'Crownies' have arrived" she explained, "Very well" Mewtwo replied, then silently signaled to leave, she pouted a bit, but unwrapped herself and left.

Eevee thought about the question. It wasn't everyday you were going to be with someone like that for that much time. Well, at least not for him. "I suppose," he answered, thinking of how to address himself, "you can call me by my species name, Eevee. I don't like fancy nicknames, they don't fit me. I'm not a big people person. I like to be apart small groups and I'm not one to talk on. I'm well knowledgable and if you ever need me, ask away! So what about you?" He didn't like going on for that long. It felt ackward to just talk like that. Nonetheless, he had to and he was wondering what the young one would say. It had to have something interesting to say.

Vulpix yelped as Rolly used his psychic abilities to lift her into the air. Rolly then ran to the beach, Vulpix floating behind him.
"Thanks for that!" She snapped, before biting her tongue. That wasn't helpful to her cause of getting friends. Then again, they couldn't trust a facade, could they?
"It would've been nice," she began. "If you'd warned me BEFORE you started dragging me around on a psychic rope. Not everyone appreciates the sort of thing without warning, you know."
She fought back a growl at the back of her throat, instead settling for staring at the back of Rolly. She felt a tingle at the back of her throat as well, and recognized the feeling.
[I]I'm NOT going to Ember him. I'm NOT going to Ember him.[/i] she chanted in her mind, trying to act upbeat to calm herself down.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Joltik chirred at the response. He seemed to be liking Eevee more and more as they got to know each other. He then replied. [color=#ff8c00]"Well, I'm a Joltik. I'm rather meek, but I'm pretty harmless. I'm still rather small, and larger Pokemon scare me...I was the runt of my clutch, but I thought that my skills with words would help me...until my brothers and sisters kicked me out of the nest, and left me on my own. So, after journeying for a while, here I am, on top of your head. I...I just want a home where I can be loved, and where I can feel safe from the outside world."[/color]

[Agro]

"Oh stop complaining." Rolly laughed with that boyish charm you only get from a kid. He was skipping along. "I'm just introducing you to people. Don't be so.." Rolly stopped to think of the word he was looking for, not realizing he hadn't stopped moving Vulpix forward, and as he stopped a foot from the waters, he failed to notice the fire pokémon slowly drift over the ocean.

"Rolly!" Solo started sprinting towards them, knowing fire type pokémon in general did not like water, and that when Rolly came out of thinking his concentration would break and she would fall.

Vulpix angry expression changed into one of fear when she noticed herself hovering above the water.
"LET ME DOWN ON LAND!" She shrieked. "PLEASE, JUST LET ME GO BACK TO LAND!"
She shook violently, moreso than she would in a complete rage. Tears fell.
[I]Please let me down on land. Please let me down on land.[/I] She prayed silently. Rolly was rash, and possibly absent-minded, since he hadn't noticed she'd drifted. Hopefully he wouldn't be an idiot and leave her to fall into the water. Hopefully.

[Agro]

Rolly's focus came back to the Vulpix the second she became apprehensive. "Huh?" It was in that second, as Solo predicted, that Rolly lost focus in his attack and Vulpix was released, falling down to the water.

[i]Razor Wind[/i]. Solo's attack cut straight through the water and created a small semicircle within the water, the top of the arc being where Vulpix would fall. Solo, being an Absol as opposed to most slower pokémon, would have a small window to get the Vulpix out.

Solo charged into the opening he'd made in the water, finding the Vulpix and picking her up by the scruff of her neck. (OoC: Vulpix is a fox, which is a canine. therefore picking her up by the scruff would make sense and would in no way hurt her.) As fast as he was in, Solo rushed out of the pathway as the water crashed down behind him.

Trotting slowly to get a little farther from the water, Solo finally set the petrified Vulpix down. "Are you alright?"

[color=#FFD700]"Wharg!!" [/color]Shinx shouted as he got smacked by another rage. [i]Owowowowow! [color="#800080"]Well you little fool, dont let this arrogant jerk beat you! [/color]W-whos that? Someone...in my head.....[color=#800080]I'm a Gengar. I've been living inside you for a bit. Good spark move by the way. [/color]A Gengar? Oh, and uh...thanks? But how do I beat him? If I charge up, he will just get me again! [color="#800080"]Are you sure? If you mix the charge-barrier with a bit of real electricity, it should give you another line of defense. [/color].....Hey, your pretty good. But......why cant you just hit him yourself like you did before? [color=#800080]Cus the only thing thats gonna hurt THAT sucker is a Hyper Beam. And I'm tired. [/color]..Alright. [/i]Shinx used the Charge move again, but this time, he let some electricity seep into the charge-barrier. [i]There! That should be enough to make the charge more like an electric wall, but it leaves enough power to smack him with Spark![/i]

Was that a dark pulse? This fight was turning out to be more fun that he first thought. To think the little snot nosed kitten could pull that move out of nowhere. Especially seeing that a shinx shouldn't [i]be[/i] able to a dark pulse out of nowhere. This little development could warrant further... investigation. Maybe he should take a leave out of nidoran's book and do a little scheming of his own. It seemed like this group, at least as far as Charmeleon and shinx that is, was worth his while. He would have to see about nincada, but fire, ice, dark, electric, bug and ground covered a lot of bases.

"Hit him again!" he yelled out at charmeleon. "Don't let that kid push you around!" For now, scheming would have to wait. The fight was getting interesting. And just so he didn't pick sides. "Show Charmeleon power isn't everything shinx!"

[Grunt Issun]

Charmeleon grew a smug smirk as the random Sneasle nearby started cheering him on, then winced when he also started to cheer on Shinx. He quickly swiveled around, "JUST WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON!?!" Charmeleon demanded, before swiviling back around and studying Shinx. [i]'Alright, he's got an electric barrier set up with his charge, so if I try a physical attack, it'll just hurt me, and if I try a special attack it'll just be dicipated by the electricity... but...' [/i]Charmeleon started in thought, but he hesitated, [i]'Rage builds power when I get hurt... if I can rip through the Barrier, it'll constantly do damage to me, if I can withstand all the energy, then I can get a MASSIVE rage attack going straight on him!' [/i]Charmeleon thought, so he brought his claw down again, his flame burned brighter again, he began to glow again, and he focused on the barrier. "ALRIGHT! LET'S DO THIS! RAGE!" Charmeleon shouted, then burst forward, shoving his claw straight into the barrier. He instantly began to take damage, but he tried ignoring it. His flame grew a bit bigger with every second, he glowed brighter and brighter. He thrust his claw forward again, moving through the wall, still taking damage, which began to wear him down, he was getting very worn out by now, but he told himself not to stop. With all of his might, he thrust his claw forward once more, directly at Shinx.

"Many thanks," Nidoran said with a grin as she tucked into the berry, eating it slowly and savoring every bite. If there was one positive thing she could say about the island, its fruit was lovely. The other pokemon didn't really notice, of course, but Nidoran considered herself a conscious consumer of everything she put into her body- always the highest quality possible, of course. She wasn't adverse to tasteless food if it were the only option, but getting a good source of delicious meals was always a priority.

She used the time while munching to mull over Glaceon's response and question; unlike the eon, she was fairly certain they hadn't been on the island their entire lives. Her memories were gone, but she clearly believed herself to be a wanderer, someone who moved from place to place while searching for an easy life... and she never recalled crossing an ocean, nor would such a thing occur to her naturally. Unless the island wasn't, as they believed, an island, then it stood to reason that she had been brought here or moved here for some strange reason, probably related to her lack of memory.

"The Charmeleon is a good fighter," she said after a moment, "And if we encounter anything atop the mountain, it's likely going to either be used to living in especially cold or hot climes. If it's the former, fire would be a good advantage to have. If it's the later, he could work as a shield. Either way, we could benefit from him being there."

The problem, of course, would be convincing him to join them. Well alright, so that wasn't a terribly massive problem, but Nidoran still had to account for the odd chance of him being able to totally rebuff her- something that didn't happen often, far as she recalled.

Glaceon's expression soured subtly. The Charmeleon was an arrogant type. Actually, half the island inhabitants off the top of her head were arrogant. Heck, she could even be considered arrogant in her own right. If she was going to have to deal with someone incapable of appreciating her skills and contributions, then she better be receiving one hell of a compensation.

And a fire type...hm, they made the surroundings uncomfortably warm and completely defying the point of chilling her surroundings. Unfortunately, she was far too curious about what was up in the mountains to complain to Nidoran. If she presented too much resistance, the poison-type could just go on her way and recruit the Charmeleon. Glaceon wasn't sure how dependant the Nidoran was on her contributions.

"I guess so," she sighed finally. "I saw him by the village entrance earlier, but that was before I gathered food, so he probably didnt come back yet."

For a moment, Vulpix merely shivered, spraying a few drops of water around. Her crazed thoughts slowly collected, but she was still silent for a moment, holding back a long string of choice curse words she intended to rattle off at Rolly.
"...Thanks." She muttered finally, pawing the ground like she usually did when she was a little confused or nervous.
"Though next time, I'd still like some warning." She smiled slightly, like she always did.
[i]Am I ever glad he didn't lift me too high. That would've been a disaster, in more ways than one.[/i] She thought, shuddering slightly at the thought.

[Agro]

Solo smiled as the Vulpix thanked him, it was the first time someone other than Rolly- who had only done so once or twice- had thanked him since he'd awoken on the island. "Don't mention it."

Speaking of Rolly. "Oh, good to see you're alright!"

"Rolly, what were you thinking?"

"Whadduya mean?"

"You lifted her over the water, you should know fire types don't like water."

"Hey, that's stereotyping."

"It doesn't matter, you used your power to lift someone against their will. In any case that isn't right."

"Why are you being so defensive today?"

Solo blushed, not expecting Rolly to come back at him. He hadn't really scolded Rolly at all since they met, no matter how stupid the things he did were. "Because." Solo tried to come up with something other than what the both of them were thinking. There was nothing doing. "Just apologize to her."

"Fine." Rolly folded his arms behind his head, not at all pleased that he had to do this. He didn't even try to look at Vulpix as he walked over. "Well, I'm sorry for lifting you up without warning you. I wasn't thinking things through. I'm sincerely sorry." He really was sincere. Rolly was never the kind of person to want people to hate him.

[Hydra of Ages]

"Hm. In that case, we'd best wait until he returns, as I'd prefer not to risk whatever might be up on the island with a group less than three."
Though Nidoran didn't consider herself a particularly weak fighter, she never liked to run the chance of running into something larger and meaner than she was. A group of three provided just enough to move efficiently while still being numerous to outpower any single foe they might meet, and have two allies made for a far better distraction if she ever needed to cut her losses and run.

She finished off the berry she'd been nibbling on. "I'll wait for him by the entrance. While we're here, it might be worth something to see if any of the other pokemon know anything we don't. Not particularly likely, but information is valuable right now. If you can think of anyone here you find competent enough, may as well bring them along too, though I think three is a good sized group."

Glaceon gave a quiet snort, which could have been an expression of contempt or annoyance, if not a mixture of the two. "Fine, you go wait, I'll check others around here and see what they know, if anything," she said, standing up and stretching. The snow was starting to melt anyway, so sitting around wasn't worth it anymore.

"I'll then meet you near the entrance as soon as possible," she said, her voice indicating a command, rather than a suggestion. Fact was, she really had no intention of trying to bring anyone else along. Her primary goal was to find out if there was a better habitat up in the mountains in the hopes it'd jar her memory. Almost everyone she knew personally from the village she would loathe to hang around with for long periods of time, so if she did find someone to question, she doubted she'd try too hard to convince anyone to come with them.

As for questioning whether anyone knew more than they did...most Pokemon avoided, disliked, or was indifferent to her. Making a lap around the village should be sufficient to decide if anyone was going to talk.

Sneeze's eye's flashed. He stabbed the sky with his claw dramatically. "I'm on your side! I'm on his side! I'm only every bodies' side! Which means I'm on no one's! 'Cept my own o'course. Who do you think I am?" He finished with a smirk. He dropped back into his seat with that smug expression. "But instead of paying attention to me, focus on your fight. I wanna shot at one of you. Go show that kid your fire power!" he yelled as Charmeleon broke trough the barrier. Not only was he bored, but those two were providing a nice change of scenery. He plucked an acorn from the tree and tossed it lightly in his hand. He would even fight the Charmeleon. The air above his claws glowed blue and a chunk of ice formed around the acorn.

[color=#000000]Meditite finally made his way to the place where he usually meditated, only to notice that a Shinx and a Charmeleon were fighting each other right where [i]he[/i] was gonna sit down. It looked like he got there a bit late.[/color]

[color=#008080]"Arceus damn it, now I'm never gonna get back on schedule," [/color][color=#000000]he muttered, [/color][color=#008080]"Oh well, I'll just have to go to the mountains I guess."[/color]

[color=#000000]Out of the corner of his eye though, Meditite saw a Sneasel with an acorn in its hand, which it had covered in ice, and moved in to intervene before it could throw it. He [i]knew[/i] foul play when he could sense it.[/color]

[color=#008080]"I'll take that, thank you,"[/color][color=#000000] Meditite stated as he snatched the now frozen acorn.[/color]

[Justice Master]

"Don't worry," Eevee assured the small pokemon on his head, taking a bite of a berry, "I'll protect you to the best of my abilities." He looked at the forest around him. He had been here for a month and had relatively explored nothing, except for the road away from the village. It was unlike him, knowing more of his surroundings were something he like for the main reason of escape routes and shortcuts. Eevee began to ask, "Joltik, do you want to go explore? Go, find out what else lies there. Know much more of the world, much more then what you already do."

Shinx felt Charmeleon ripping through his barrier. [color=#800080][i]He wants to use the pain to boost his rage! Your charged, hit him with Spark full-blast! I will assist you. [/i][/color][i]Good! Thanks! [/i]With Gengars power pulsing through him, Shinx launched a Spark attack at point-blank range. Gengars pumped power into the Spark, nearly expending all of it. [i][color="#800080"]Thats it! Perfect! If this doesnt K.O. him or make him surrender, I dont know what will! [/color][/i][i]YEEEEAAAAH! This feels GREAT! Thanks Gengar! [color=#800080]No problem kid, just whip this little brat for me. [/color]Will do! [/i]Shinx kept pouring energy into the Spark until he couldnt. (OOC: am gonna leave the rest up to you Issun. Shinx is exausted, as is Gengar.)
