For the second one: turns out BoM is a great card. Also, there was a reason that Oppression was banned. At least this still doesn't stop the BRD nuke. Or any abilities really. It's just there to stop the Opponent for a split second as they pull off a fantastic move while still retaining the card you stopped them from bringing out.
