The moon was full and the sky empty above Jaysid City. It was about midnight, yet the city was still quite active. Five thugs rushed out of a bank, masks on their heads and having a pistol in one hand and a bag of money in the other. They rushed down the road until making it to a allayway, where they began to count the cash they had just claimed. About ten minutes later one of them spoke, declaring, "two grand, everybody. Those folks high up are really gonna enjoy this." The man chuckled along with the other theives, ignoring the rest of the world and its problems.

The man who had just talked, who could be assumed to be their leader at the time, began to pull out his phone, calling the men who were prepared to deliever. "Now," he whispered before hanging up, prompting them to start their car and get to the location ASAP. "Time to pack up," he demanded. The fellow crooks began to recount the money, reload the guns, and almost everything standard.

Almost.

One of the robbers looked around, confused. This angered the leader, for he had something to be doing and should goddamn do it. "Cupcake!" shouted the leader man, "the hell do you think you're doing?" "Looking," the burglar said, unmoved by leader man's insult. Enraged by this lack of care he yelled at the uninterested thug, "for what exactly!?" The lackey looked up at him, "Johnny." Leader man chuckled, "can't ya see, kid?" he asked. "Johnny's right over," he began to point where he last saw Johnny, "there."

Of course, Johnny wasn't.

Unnerved by this, leader man looked around, wanting a sign of Johnny. Suddenly, a groan from around the corner was heard. Leader man ordered all of his thugs to come with him. What they found was a beaten Johnny, thrown upon some garbage. "What happened!?" Leader man asked, a bit of fear in his voice. "It... was.." Johnny began, but was cut off by an "Ahh!" Leader man and his remaining two active robbers looked to see no one there. And then one of those lackeys were taken, then the other.

Leader man stood there. Alone. Scared. Terrified. "Who are you?" he whispered into the darkeness before he saw the shadow of a strangly dressed man. "You!" Leader man yelled at the strange one, "you did this!" He pulled out his gun and began to shoot the mysterious figure laughing as each bullet hit its target. The figure moved foward. "What?" the once tough leader man asked. "Why didn't you die?" he asked as the figure picked him up with two arms.

"Who are you working for?" the mysterious one asked. "I don't know, they wouldn't tell me! Honest!" Leader man just wanted to wake up from this nightmare. The figure threw him down into the trash, like Johnny, but leader man wanted one answer. "Who are you?" The garbage covered thug asked. The figure looked back, or at least appeared to, saying one thing, and that only. "The Raven."

And like that, The Raven disappeared into the night.

Ooc: Nighttime? OK...

It was the dark of the night. An odd entity emerged from the shadows. Sinister, dark and creepy. That was the being for you. "Criminals are my primary source of food..." she muttered under her hysterical breath as she combed the area. All of a sudden, a robber jumped onto her and placed a gun right on her ear. He was accompanied by a whole gang of robbers.

"Give me your money. All of it..."

"You wish," she dispersed into the darkness. Next, tentacles made from shadows and darkness rose and started to devour the gang of thugs. They were squeezed so hard, blood and gore spewed from the tentacles.

"Oh I love my job. So easy..." she laughed maniacally like a Yandere. A few other thugs saw her and ran away.

OoC: Ow. Yandere.

The moon was full and the dark was cold and still, the man looked outside of his office window at the top of Empowered Tower. The streets were crawling with a high infestation of crime and empowered people in which all needed more life or wanted to die. "Sir, someone to see you." A man dressed in a black suit said, letting a young man in that looked very depressed. "Please, could you, end it all." The man turned from the window and walk over to the younger child. "You have sixty six years left son, that would sixty six hundred dollars, payed up front for obvious reasons." The young man held up a wad of money in which the second man took and tucked into his suit jacket. "I see that you're fully committed to this, well than." Suddenly the young man began to grow younger and younger until he was a baby than in another second he was gone; erased from existence like he was never there. The man stopped asking himself why these people wanted to acquire or get rid of years on their life, he merely took the money and did his job. After the dead was done he walked back over to view the city in all it's unholy splendor. "The world is a horrible, horrible place, and it's all ours." The man said to himself.

The Raven walked out of the allayway, attracting no attention to himself. He climbed up a few ladders, getting to the top of an apartment building. He looked down onto to some the city, looking for any suspecious activity. He saw a few thugs running for their lives. Using a bit of estimation, he was able to catch up with the thugs. He grabbed one of the thugs, smashing him into the ground. The others thankfully didn't look behind. "What are you running from?" The Raven questioned the man. "Little girl, killed em'. Over by Empowered Tower," the man breifly explained. The Raven left the man, rushing back to Empowered Tower. All he found was blood and guts. Angered, he looked around for any leads. For anything.

Meanwhile, in some other Alley Near the Empowered tower, There was a woman running from something, Screaming, Which was soon apparent about what that woman was running from, Something that looked like a a Small Black and Red Jet. The woman learned the hard way that nothing can outrun a jet, Especially when it used Lasers to make a big pothole that caused her to trip. When the Jet passed over her, just barely touching her, The Woman disappeared without a trace, Kidnapped by the jet. The Jet then took off out of the alley, blending in with the night except for the large number of red spots on it... It turned and just shot to the right of the Empowered Tower...

"...The police still have no leads as the the murders in Jameson Park last night and are encouraging anyone who may have seen anything to come forward. In other news, another supervillian has been reported in the down..." Kyle clicked off the news and yawned. Nothing new, as always. Someone killed, somewhere robbed, something burned to the ground, the token humanitarian report and some superhero saving the kitten in the tree. He smiled slightly. It was a good town for him. The paperwork for his news client was about done, and tomorrow would be a long, rewarding day of making people squirm and pulling on the red tapes. He fell back unto his pillow with pleasure, and let sleep take him, ready to start his other job.

Elsewhere, a mirror abruptly went dark. In the upper quarter of the mirror, a white oval wavered into being. Two jagged triangles opened for eyes, a dark slash below them spitting the shape into a grin. Further down, a other white shape, this one a glove, pressed against, and then through the surface of the mirror. Followed by a black clad arm, attacked to a body, the oval being a mask. John stretched, his tail swishing lazily, his tattered cloak settling into place. The mask smiled and he headed out to the garage, where his crew was already prepping the vans. They looked up when they noticed him.

"Morning boss!" the head mechanic called. "We are all set to go here. Just waiting for you and the team."

"Perfect Carl," John smiled. There was a small commotion as his team for the night arrived. Eight strange figures that would have turned heads anywhere else. Five were cats, standing on their hind legs, between four and five feet tall, lugging bags of weapons and tools. The last three were female, cat girls straight out of japanese animation. Avatars, their real bodies were reclined on bunks in a back room. They called their own greetings as they divided between the vans. John joined them shortly.

"Alright kids," he ordered as the doors rolled up and the engines started. "Daddy's got a long list tonight, and a big project to build. Let's go shopping."

A scream echoed in the night stirring Nathan from his fitful sleep. He'd had another dream of the night he had been lost to the world. He opened his eyes as he forced himself to forget once again. Just like he had been forgotten. Throw away the memories of people who discarded him in an instant. He had fallen asleep in the park, something that most people would have been afraid to do, but Nathan didn't care. It was just a place to be quiet, if there was such a thing in Jaysid city. As he stood up and stretched himself, Nathan noticed a police helicopter flying overhead.

"Not that such an insignificant object will do any good in this pit of corruption," He whispered to himself. Nathan moved his eyes to the skyline and made his choice. A brilliant white light filled the area and then everything was back to the way it had been, minus Nathan Albright. A similar flash appeared on a rooftop not too far away. Nathan stood atop a filthy roof, he filled his lungs with the acrid air and studied the night. A scream pierced through the darkness, yet another scream on yet another night.

"These people sicken me!" He said into the black, "All corrupted. All disgusting. They deserve what they get, and deserve nothing that they have." His mind was interupted as a red shape flew off into the night and strange shadows jumped and flew around the city. "Heroes and Villains. None of them know the true meaning of good and evil. They will learn in time." Nathan continued to stare into the night.

"Hey, kid." Someone said to the man who was examining a pile of guts and blood near Empowered Tower, he was shadowed by the ally so no one could see him. "You want some years kid? Wanna look a little older for the ladies or maybe for the laddies; your personal business is no business of mine." The man said darkly, and was waving the man over. "We can make you younger and more nimble or older and much more wiser; you decided." The man said, trying to make a sale to the costumed man.

ooc: Post directed towards you, Justice.

Years?, thought The Raven. He had been offered many strange things, but this was easily the oddest. It took him a few seconds to respond, before answering, "no. I find no need to try and amplify my life any further." He stared at the scene. It didn't add up, adding years to one's age wouldn't make them explode, he was sure of this. However, he had to ask this man, he need a lead of some sort, and that was the only way he could possibly get one. "Do you have any idea how these people died?" The Raven asked the strange year selling man.

The man looked at the costumed man, and then at the crime seem he had yet to notice. "Huh, people died here." The man said, as if he had seen this kind of thing all the time. He walked over to the scene and looked down, then looked straight back at the costumed man. "Yeah, people definitely died here, but giving and taking years doesn't kill that way. You either get aged so much you turn to dust or you get so young you just disappear. Don't really know to much about how his power works." The man than looked back down and back up. "I've said to much..." The man than walked back into the shadow of the ally and disappeared within it's darkness as he rounded the next corner...

ooc: Spoooooooooky haha

The Raven watched as the stranger left, remembering his last movements. The man had looked up, to the top of the tower. That itself may have not been a lead to the murders, but it had at least lead him on to something else. Something that could be big. Real big. He analyzed the hotel, looking for anyway to get up to the top. Amazingly, the only things he found even slightly capable of giving him access were the balconies, which were just barely close enough together to allow for climbing. Looking down, he realized how dangerous it would be to go up there, nonetheless, he felt as if he had to. And so he began his ascent into the skies, never looking down. In about half an hour he had reached the top. He approached the standard door which led to the roof on the building and picked it open with a throwing star. He opened the door and proceeded to walk down the steps of the area he was obviously not supposed to have discovered. He silently moved passed the suprisingly moderate security, looking for any doors that lead somewhere.

And then he saw it. The office of Mr. Krieger, gaurded by two men with some heavy weapontry.

Knowing his cape could only take so much abuse, he quietly waited for any of their slip-ups. And he knew they would make those. After 15 minutes of waiting, he decided that the gaurds must have been trained well enough to do these such things, and while The Ravem could wait for their slip-ups, he'd rather accelerate the process. Making a slight move, he threw a star at the shin of the gaurd on the left, causing him to yell in pain and get the attention of the right gaurd. The gaurd from the right quickly called for backup and told them to search the place thoroughly. Leaving the office a wide open target. The Raven picked the lock and opened the door.

"Hello," he said to the man inside, who was assumed to be Krieger, "I've heard you had some way of transfering years."

"And I heard that there was fresh meat on this floor!" The black and red jet had came back to the Empowered Tower, and was just outside the floor of the office and was in view of a strange costumed man, however, she was speaking into the office, where all of it's occupants could hear it. The jet started to turn white and crumble, revealing a fully clothed, black haired female, She wore a gray jumpsuit that also included a mask with no distinct features other than covering her entire face. She was still floating and was still on the same floor as the office....

"Indeed, and you must The Raven. It's hard not to recognize a do gooder." Krieger said, and than they were both rudely interrupted by someone else. "Hello, I don't believe I know who you are young lady." Krieger said, looking at the lady in great suspicion. "Right you are my boy, years for the selling is what we have. I could make you older or younger perhaps, or maybe this is about something else, hm?" Krieger said, and than looked at the boy with a sinister stare.

Jade was suprised by this man knowing The Raven, since all the news that said anything about him was in tabloids or the back page of the paper. All photos had been blury, or at least all the photos he knew about. The Raven was unmoved by the girl interupting the meeting with this strange man. "Well," The Raven began, "I just found this out today, in fact, I've discovered a lot I didn't know about today. Like how you seem to have a bunch of people securing the building, or you, I should say. Nevertheless, I came here to let you know two things. 1. I'm watching you from now on and 2. someone's out for your men." He began to walk towards the door, ignoring the strange floating girl.

Shiro the Day Boy walked along the dark alleys of Jaysid City. He was at his fullest under the brightest days, combing the city to find some thugs to fight. Dark places were never ideal for him, since his night vision was bad, really, really, bad. Heck, he had never gone out in the night before.

All he had done for the past two days was do minor jobs like saving cats from tress and such. Though, he wasn't eager for any ass-kicking, although that was what he did best.

And now, he is eating ice-cream as he leans against the walls of an electronics stall. "I have a bad feeling about this..." He finishes his ice cream and checks his smartphone. "Murder, cruel. Very cruel. Hope Kuro wasn't the one..."

Silas did not like being ignored and not being known, The plates encompassed her to form that jet shape again as the costumed man turned to make his leave, the red spots then charged and fired a pair of small, red lasers into the office, just missing Kreiger and The Raven and hitting the door, causing an explosion as it did, the jet then rang a voice into the office "You dare ignore me? a living urban legend who made lives of even Supers Fearful!? Pitiful Humans!" The red spots started charging again for a laser barrage...

Nathan flashed from rooftop to rooftop, barely paying any notice to the world around him. That was until a scream sounded below him. It was screams, always screams, that attracted his attention. He stopped and walked to the edge, peering over. Two people were struggling in the alleyway beneath him. Another scream from below, a womans voice echoed through the darkness.
"NO. PLEASE NO!" She shouted. The other occupant of the alley, a man, didn't comply.
"Sickening..." Said Nathan quietly to himself before dissappearing once again. He reappeared behind the man and grabbed him roughly by the shoulder, spinning him round, "If you bring suffering to others, then you must be punished yourself." The woman stumbled and fell into garbage can before collapsing to ther floor. The man, who had been suprised by the sudden arrival of Nathan, swung his fist at the supposedly young man. His punch connected hard to Nathan's temple, but he had taken worse before. A large gash cut across his skin. Nathan's fists grasped harder to the man as his head turned to face his attacker. A similar glow to his teleportation appeared on the cut and sealed it up.
"There is no redemption for someone as corrupt as you..." Nathan's fists began to glow with an unearthly energy, heating the air around them creating an area that nothing could survive. He moved one of his hands to the throat of the man burning him through to the bone.

The woman screamed again and attempted to run away. She didn't get far as Nathan stood before her. "Don't think for a second that you are an innocent in this. No one is an innocent. Not anymore..." His glowing hand raised towards the woman as she tried to back away.

Krieger listened as he explained about how people are securing the building and about his warnings. "Of course they are securing the building, I do own this hotel, Mr. Raven, and I have come to learn that it needs to be fortified." Krieger explained, before addressing his warnings. "Watch me if you'd like Mr. Raven, I have nothing to hide that you don't already know, or should know at least." Krieger went silent for a second after he said something about people being after his men. "Yes, there's someone after all of us..." Kriger said, just silently enough so that you couldn't really make out what he said but you got the gist. Suddenly, lasers were blasted in between the two men and made a rather large hole in the wall, after the dust settled there was a woman who was complaining about being ignored.

"I assure you, young lady, that I have never been so rude as to ignore someone in my entire life. You merely must have not heard my sentence before; I do apologize if you thought we had not noticed your entrance." Krieger said to the woman, knowing he'd most likely be no match for her; let alone if The Raven decided to take her side or they were secretly in cahoots. "Now, if we'll all just settle down we can discuss things like rational people, if that is okay with you Miss..." Krieger said, waiting for the woman to introduce herself.

The Jet form dissolved once more before she could fire it's lasers again, after Silas said "I wasn't speaking to you... I was speaking to the freak in that ridiculous costume", She floated inside the office and sat in the air, She then spoke ominously "My name is Silas Zeikoru, Known to quite a few people as 'That Unidentified Magic Jet in the urban legends'... I have no interest within any side and only like to serve myself, wherever it takes me...". Silas giggled and said "Sorry for blowing a hole in your door, I really don't like being ignored..."

(OOC: Sorry, a crazy little thing called life popped up.)

The Raven was a bit shocked when she destroyed the door in just one movement, but was quite unmoved when she called him a freak. It had happened so many times he just kinda got used to it. Not to mention, while being a costumed fighter could be considered strange, it was nothing compared to flying or shoot lasers out your hands. Or maybe it was, who knew. "I ignored you because I have no buisness with you. I've done what I came to do, so farewell." He explained looking at the two before beginning to walk towards the hole that once held a wall and door.

Despite their state of readiness, John's crew didn't peal out dramatically out unto the streets. Instead, the two vans, both a normal dark blue color, took off at a normal pace. In the lead van, John rode shot gun, humming to himself as he looked over his shopping list (he actually had one.) The driver, a black cat with a notched ear and brown gloves, normally a serious black man, named Ray, slowed as they reached the intersection. "Where we heading first boss?"

"Most of the stuff I need are big ticket items, but I think we should start out with the light stuff. Connections, wiring, stuff like that." He passed the list over to his techie, Jonas; a calico cat a bit lacking in height. "Let's hit the electronics store on eighth. They'll be closed for the night."

Jonas gave a low whistle as he looked over John's plans and lists. "Whoa boss, going big on this one. We can get most of the small stuff pretty easily, but the heavy heavy hardware... maybe the cable headquarters or the cell company would have some of these. But the van's can't handled these stuff..."

"Silly kitty," John grinned, his mask widening, "that's why a copper and a 5 ton is on the list." He leaned back in his chair and whistled a show tune as Ray relayed the target over the bluetooth to the other van. The electronics place was only a few minutes drive away, and it wasn't long before they pulled up to the curb of their target.

Finally, almost nighttime.

Shiro turned to look - John and his henchmen. "I knew it..." Using photokinesis, he bended the light to appear invisible. However, the sun was already ready to set. Thus, the light used for invisibility turned into darkness, which gradually revealed the dark, sinister girl of yesterday - Kuro the Night Girl. She cackled as she disappeared into the shadows in order to watch John's actions. Technically a hero who does the job, the wrong way. She waited for them to start their action...

Alexander popped out of a bank. He was holding 200 dollars, flicking his fingers through it. He was paid by the Crime Family, to do what he did. He wasn't a hitman, or assassin. He was on the side of whoever offered the better deal. He flickered into his kind mode. He pocketed the money, and got a little girl across the street. "It's not safe right now." He smiled and teleported her home. He left the area before the mother or the child could see his Scarfpin. He reverted into his bedclothes, and gave the money to his mother. "I don't like what you do." She told him. "Well, I helped a little girl home. So, I kinda reverted it back. Plus, that is just the prize money I was given." He smiled his Checkerboard smile.

"Yes, Mr. Raven, you have a nice day and do take care." Krieger said, and than turned to his other mysterious guest and gave her a sinister smile. "I would like to ask you to please depart, if that is quite alright with you. There's plenty of work to be done and not enough time to do it in." Krieger explained to his guest, walking past here and opening the window to the balcony. "Don't worry about the hole; I have someone who can fix it post haste." Krieger said, and awaited the woman to leave.

Nathan stepped over the corpses of his latest victims and headed towards the street. He did up the buttons on his coat as a chilling breeze blew past. Nathan looked down at his hands, his skin still glowed with the raw energy that flowed through his body.
"It had to be done," Nathan said to himself quietly before dissapearing in a flash and reappearing on the roof across the road. "It had to be done. It had. To be done." His skin began to glow brighter than it had done even when he had roasted the flesh from his victims bodies. "IT. HAD . TO. BE. DONE!"
Nathan fell to his knees and the glowing grew uncontrollable."AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!" He screamed into the night. His hands radiated yellow. It burst outwards lighting up the sky and cracking the concrete around him.
