Bleach: Darkest Days [Started/Accepting via OOC/Co-Hosted by Blu and Techi]

The White Wolf

Charlotte was only half listening as the captain began to list of various places they could get food from, simply giving a non-chalant 'uhuh' and nod to whatever he suggested. There wasn't much to see even outside the prison cell, the streets where basically made up of blue-grey roads and concrete walls which twisted about in a maze like-fashion, the buildings themselves where made of similar stone with yellow tiled rooves and small glass-free windows. Admitedly Charlotte hadn't been expecting much of the place and it was only a small area that she could see, it no doubt looked a might more impressive from a distance.

She suddenly realized that she'd walked a few paces ahead of the captain who had stopped all of a sudden and appeared to be spacing out before finally coming to and deciding, very firmly, that he was going with the noodles option.

"Whatever, anything's fine as long as it doesn't poisin me," Charlotte replied "The heck were you spacing out over anyway, the food round here isn't that bad, is it?"

Takeshi laughed at her comment. "Nah, I won't kill ya. And it wasn't anything important. C'mon, let's go."
They had been walking for a while, and they were finally at Takeshi's favorite restaurant in the Soul Society. "I'm telling ya, the noodles here are the best! Hey, Ryouga, you here?"
A large man in a white apron rose from behind the counter. "He-Hey! Takeshi Sakanoue! Been a while, eh? You want the usual?"
"Yeah, sounds about good. And I'm gonna need a bowl for the little lady here." Takeshi gestured toward Charlotte.
"Ah, hey there, young miss! So, how did a young girl like you get won over by this character?"
"Ah, hey, Ryouga! This isn't a date, she's an old friend of mine." He joking glanced over at Charlotte, as though he was suggesting this situation was her fault. He then proceeded to sit down at a squeaky, uncomfortable stool in front of the counter, where a steaming bowl of noodles was already in place.

"Captain!" Kyo yelled. "Are you experimenting one shinigami again!"

"After the reprimand you were kind enough to give me last week?" Shimegane asked distractedly. The two still conscious junior officers tried valiantly to revive the one that fainted. "Goodness no."

Kyo hesitated, not sure if she wanted to know the answer to her next question. "Then were did you get these people?"

"Rukongai," he answered immediately. Kyo's mouth dropped. Her hands twitched as she thought of something to say in response to that gem. Shimegane looked at her with mild concern. "Kyo, are you alright? It you are concerned, I had them sign release forms. Their families will be receiving adequate reimbursement for their loss."

"Captain... no. Just... no." Kyo struggled not to slap him. Not in front of the new officers, at least. "Just leave, I'll clean up this mess later. And speak to the 12 division captain about the specimens her sends you." She closed the curtains over the petrified man. "Let's just inoculate these officers and be over with it."

"I-inoculate?" one of the three, who were quickly regretting their decision to join. His friend finally woke blearily.

"It’s nothing," Kyo said quickly. "As medical response officers, you'll need to be able to face most diseases without worrying about infection." And with Captain Shimegane around, you need some resistance to his experiments, she added silently.

"Indeed," Shimegane nodded, pulling a fierce looking needle, about four inches long and attached to a strange gun like body, from a drawer. "I had these living world styled syringes made for me, and I have not yet gotten around to testing them. I believe this is the perfect opportunity." The shinigami promptly fainted again.

"OUT!" Kyo yelled a Shimegane. "You have done enough. I'll take care of this mess. Just… leave."

"Ah, you seem upset, Kyo," Shimegane blinked.

"Just go," she sighed.

"You know me so well... We need something big to do and quick!" Noticing the hand on his shoulder Hideyo immeadiately sepressed all need to hug like his normal drunk self would. He nodded politely as he normally would. The attention he is getting from his direct superior was nothing out of the normal, Hideyo enjoyed hanging out with Carnifex with the lackies didn't need whipping. "I think I'll be alright for now, but do you think you can get the boss' gears going? A mission for me no matter how shitty would be well enough to keep me from downing another bottle of liqour." Hideyo held his head up, all his talking was making his jaw hurt a little, the nap didn't restore his energy at all, and the head-ache was going to keep him up. "I need too eat something... A hollow... an out-of-standard Arrancar... even the small energy pressure in the air isn't keeping my tummy from rumbling!"

Carnifex was laughing heartily at his immediate inferior's use of the word "tummy". He wasn't quite sure why he found it so funny, but he did and that was all that mattered. In a moment he had spun about and given the male a shove towards the door out of the room in which they were in, I mean it's not like there's any difficulty in shoving a drunk around.

"Go to the Human World then," He stated flatly, before making his way off in the same direction from whence he had come, stopping in the doorway to turn his head around and face La Segunda. "There are bound to be some wonderfully tasty morsels there. Oh, and if you meet any Shinigami, tell them that I said 'Hello', I'm sure they're still hunting me." Carnifex gave another incredibly loud laugh, this one taking on a very eery echo to it, as he made his way across that level of Las Noches towards the room which he had earlier sent his Fracciones to. Upon arrival, he slipped through the open doorway and found the pair asleep, Sylvia laying on a bed and Alexandra laying next to her, curled up against her side. He shook his head, a smile coming to his face at the sight and soon he was laying down on his own bed, staring up at the ceiling. "I wonder how things would be now, if I had been a Shinigami instead..."

Kazuya jumped away a few pillars further as Mitsuke and Ayumi jumped at him the two slamming into each other and falling together on the pillar Kazuya was just on as Loki jumped over attempting to slam Kazuya with his Armguard covered hand again, Kazuya deflecting it by hitting further up the arm away and lightly sending his palm into Loki's gut briefly knocking the wind out of him and sending him into the other two fraccione. "You need to work together, not just try to take me and when you miss hope Loki hits, you need to all come at once and keep without hitting eachother.." he then said lightly helping them with their teamwork in battle by sparring with them now.

"Alright, what's the problem men?" Hayate asked, walking into his office seeing two men in his Division in front of his desk.

The first Shinigami, a brown haired man with a scar over his left eye nodded and then began, saying,"Hayate-senpai, there has been numerous sightings of Hollows around the Seireitei...more now than usual."

The second Shinigami, a black haired man who was beginning to bald, looked at Hayate and continued. "And we are needing a lot of help to take out the hollows. The 5th Division isn't able to take on these creatures on our own. We need the aid of the men of the other Divisions to help us."

"I see..." Hayate said, listening to everything the two men had stated. "I will see what I can do. I'll ask Head Captain Toshiro if he can have the rest of the Gotei 13 lend some men to aid you all in the fighting of these Hollows." He sent them out and sighed. Hayate knew these Hollows were coming from somewhere...but he couldn't exactly tell WHERE they were coming from. But what was also confusing him....was why they'd come to the Seireitei.

Charlotte followed the captain into the restaurant, giving the occasional disinterested nod to his boasting about the place. It didn’t come as any surprise when the man behind the counter addressed the captain by name given how much he seemed to love the place, it wouldn’t be too hard to believe he came here often. It looked to be a decent enough place though Charlotte wouldn’t really say it lived up to Takeshi’s praise, it was at least better than eating dinner in a dark prison cell.

She took up a stool right next to Takeshi, resisting the urge to drive her fist through the counter man’s face when he brought up the suggestion that she was Takeshi’s date, which left Charlotte to wonder what kind of company Takeshi kept if this man’s first impression of a girl in a loose fitting white robe and covered in bandages and recent injuries equalled a date in his eyes.

“Well?” She looked over at the captain as their food arrived, slowly stirring hers and taking the occasional nibble “You wanted to talk, right? So what did you want to talk about?”
