Ever since I've stopped writing fics, my skills have dwindled significantly. This is technically a Crossover between Pokemon and Transformers, where the Pokebots and Deceptimons continue to feud even after the Great War. The War has a beginning, but no one has written a conclusion yet. So, someone has to write it....

We follow the adventures of a young girl named Miki, who wants to be a trainer, but her parents forbid her until she is fifteen years old. But hey, she doesn't need Pokemon to go on an adventure, just friends, a lot of friends.
I always wanted to be an ordinary kid. I was for the first few years of my life.
It was my tenth birthday, but sadly, my parents forbade me to go on a Pokemon Journey until I was fifteen. Ten years had flied in the blink of an eye, but for some reason, I felt five years was even longer. All the birthday presents couldn’t make up for the fact that I had to wait another five years for my Pokemon Journey.
For ten years I have lived without Animalistic companions who would lend a listening ear, go on a journey with, and most importantly, be the greatest friends I ever had.
But this didn’t mean that I wasn’t going to have a whole load of adventures starting from that very day.

I walked along the outskirts of my hometown, Hearthome City, a week after my tenth birthday. I observed a Pokemon battle from behind a tree. At first glance, I was astonished. A Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon and Glaceon. These Pokemon were rare in these areas. They were all teaming up against what seemed to be a foreign Pokemon. I remembered reading about that Pokemon. I believed it was called ‘Druddigon’. I noticed that the seven canine-like Pokemon were continuously firing elemental attacks at the giant, flightless dragon, but it did not budge a bit. Little did I know, there was more that meets the eye.

All of a sudden, the seven canine-like creatures started revealing line-marks resembling wires. Next, their body parts started to shift about as they turned into robots, about the size of humans. The draconian beast, too, did the same, turning into a robot as well, except much, much, bigger, about three times the height of a human.

“Foolish Pokebot scouts, I can crush you with a single foot!” the mechanical monstrousity aimed his red Druddigon-head-like arm at its opponents, ready to fire missiles. However, the seven other bots started to merge and combine into a much bigger, more advanced robot.

“C-c-combiners? I have no backup. Y-you’re cheating!” the Druddigon-mech then fired missiles, but the fusion bot simply dodged it with its high agility.

“In the name of teamwork, you Deceptimons will never reign. EVER!” the fusion-based, twenty-foot tall bot bellowed as it released a powerful energy blast from his left arm which resembled a Flareon. Blue flames were launched at the dragonoid beast, knocking him back into the forested area, allowing him to disappear, and possibly, never to return.

The mech dispersed into its seven separate components. “That was tough,” the Jolteon-like robot said to his comrades. Next, they all turned around and saw me. I noticed their astonished expressions upon seeing me.

“Human? We’ve been spotted, guys, and you know that this is very bad news...” the machine that was initially a Vaporeon spoke.
“Its OK guys, I don’t bite,” I tried to reason with the robots, “and I won’t report you to the authorities.”
“What were you guys doing, anyways?” I questioned curiously, in hopes of finding answers.
“Fighting Deceptimons. They’re the bad guys, and we Pokebots are the good guys,” the pink one in the team said, “long story. And also, don’t tell anyone about what you’re gonna see, or even dare tag along...”

The Jolteon-like bot pressed on some communication device on his ear. “Thunderbark to base. Activate Groundbridge at my coordinates...”
With that, a portal suddenly appeared. The seven bots gradually walked into it. Knowing that there was going to be adventure on the other side, I did not listen to them. Instead, I ventured into the portal with them as well.

It was breathtaking. It was amazing. I felt rather giddy after all this, though. I continued to follow the seven into what seemed to be a high-technology place. To me, it was simply alien. I should have known that following them was a bad idea. I wanted to go back, but it was too late. The portal had closed. So I simply followed them.

“Reporting for duty sir,” all seven of them shouted in unison, right in front of a fifteen-foot tall white mech that appeared to be the same brand as them. Its white wings made it resemble an angel.

“Good work, Echo Squad,” the white machine spoke in an odd, uncanny voice, “you all stopped Breakdown with teamwork. That is a trait I want to see in all Pokebots, big and small.”
“But Optimus, he got away! I don’t think this is good...” the yellow bot sighed.
“Thunderbark, you have done a great job today. As they learn, we learn as well. Now, what’s that behind you?”

The yellow bot moved aside, revealing me standing behind him. I smiled sheepishly at the angel-like giant.

“I see. You’ve brought a new friend. I suppose having a human friend will not hurt. But still, try not to expose yourselves to humans...” it smiled at me and let out its white mechanical arm. “I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Pokebots. It is an honour to meet you, child.”
“Name’s Miki,” I smiled as I shook the giant being’s hand.
“I believe you followed the Echo squad all the way here. Introduce yourselves, Echo squad.”

“Thunderbark Minor, leader of the Echo squad,” the Jolteon-based bot introduced himself.
“Seaspray,” the Vaporeon-based bot continued
“Inferno,” the red, Flareon-like one greeted.
“Botanica,” the brown-and-green one who assumed the form of a Leafeon smiled.
“Absolute Zero,” the Glaceon-like bot politely saluted
“Golden Sun,” the Espeon-resembling machine grinned.
Last but not least, the Umbreon-like bot introduced himself as “Dark Moon”.

I smiled back. Optimus then looked down on me as he suggested, “Now Miki, I know you just got here, but I’m afraid you have to go. You can pay a visit tomorrow. Ratchet, you know what to do.”

“But sir,” a pink-hued bot that Optimus just referred to as ‘Ratchet’ replied, “I just located the Deceptimons’ current coordinates.”

“Fine. Botanica, take charge of Groundbridge,” Optimus ordered. With that, Botanica walked towards an odd lever-like alien technology, then pulled it. She had to jump to pull the lever, mainly because she was short for a ‘Pokebot’. “We’re going first,” Optimus said as he shifted his body parts. In a matter of seconds, he had morphed into a white, odd dragon with some sort of ‘hair’. His alternate mode was Reshiram, a legendary, mythical Pokemon. He then gave a whistle, summoning three other ‘Pokebots’, the first was small and yellow, the next was big, green and fat and the last, white with black stripes, in addition to be more feminine-looking . They transformed into a Pikachu, Torterra and Zebstrika respectively. Ratchet then shifted his body parts to morph into a Blissey. After this, the gang of five scampered, crawled, dashed and flew into the portal created by the ‘Groundbridge’. Secretly, I followed them.

From now on, I knew that my life was going to change for the better, to be more interesting than before, and to have adventures that were beyond those of regular trainers. I felt as if I was on a journey, mainly because I was.
While it is seemingly true that Miki shares the same name as me, and Thunderbark is based on my favourite Pokemon and I was tempted to call him 'Jolt'...

OK, I guess I was self-inserting. I'll try my best not to make 'em non-Sues. Although I feel that I already have...
