Umbra
Because Final Countdown and D-Hero Dreadmaster need some love. Changes in bold were made recently. Timesage Archeon LIGHT Spellcaster 4 / 1800 / 1200 Once per turn, you can destroy a number of Spell or Trap Cards on the field equal to the number of turns that have passed since this card was Summoned. "Your magic crumbles at the hands of my power. Be afraid, mortal. Be very afraid." Timesage Avastron DARK Spellcaster 4 / 1200 / 1200 When this card is Summoned, select 1 monster on the field. One of the following effects is activated, depending on which player controls the selected monster: • You: Increase the selected monster's ATK/DEF by 1200. This card cannot declare an attack this turn. • Your opponent: Decrease the selected monster's ATK/DEF by 1200. Move the turn count forward by 1. "Time is a current, an ever-changing flow. Those who go against it will be punished." Time Warp Spell Card Move the turn count forward by 1 turn. You can banish this card in your Graveyard: add 1 "Timesage" card in your Graveyard to your hand. It cannot be activated or Summoned during the turn this effect is activated. He had observed the temporal flow for what seemed to be an eternity - when it suddenly skipped a beat. Chains of the Timesage Trap Card Equip to 1 monster your opponent controls. The equipped monster loses ATK/DEF equal to the number of "Timesage" monsters you control x 700, and it cannot be removed from the field. When this card is removed from the field: move the turn count forward by 1. "Time itself has forsaken you, little one. You are at our mercy now. Even if you escape, you will find that the outside has changed." Timesage Arrugon EARTH Spellcaster 3 / 1300 / 1300 This card's Level/ATK/DEF is always increased by the number of turns that have passed since it was Summoned or flipped face-up x 1/500/500. "The over-flowing well of time has granted me immeasurable power. Come at me, if you will." Past Selves Continuous Trap During each of your opponent's End Phases: Special Summon 1 "Timesage" monster that left the field since your opponent's last End Phase. "You seem to have thought that I was gone. How foolish of you." Timesage's Pocketwatch Spell Card Add 1 "Time Wizard" in your Deck to your hand. While this card is in your Graveyard: "Timesage" monsters you control are unaffected by "Time Wizard". "Oh, this thing? I bought it next Friday. Bit fragile, but boy, does it come in handy sometimes." Visions of Endtime Spell Card Add 1 "Timesage" card in your Deck to your hand. Move the turn count forward by 1. He could see them clearly: those shrouded in black and white, the fire and ice they brought with them. They were coming. Timesage's Paradox Continuous Trap Card Tribute 1 "Timesage" monster you control. Special Summon 2 "Alternate Timesage Tokens" (DARK/Spellcaster-type/Level ?/? ATK/? DEF) to your side of the field. The Level, ATK, and DEF of the "Alternate Timesage Tokens" are equal to the Tributed monster's Level, ATK and DEF, respectively. Increase the ATK/DEF of all "Alternate Timesage Tokens" you control by 500 for each turn that has passed since this card's activation. "This paradox is like any anomaly: give it time, and it will stabilize. And you must understand that time is on our side." Time-Flow Pinnacle Spell Card Move the turn count forward by 6 turns. During the End Phase, move the turn count back by 8 turns. You can only activate 1 "Time-Flow Pinnacle" per turn. "The raging seas of time have risen against you! Behold the power of eternity!" Timesage Anachron EARTH Spellcaster / Tuner 3 / 1400 / 1200 When this card is Summoned: select any number of Set Spell or Trap Cards you control. They are flipped face-up, and treated as Monster Cards (EARTH/Spellcaster-type/Level 3/1400 ATK/1200) with the following effect: • If this card is used as Synchro or Xyz Material, move the turn count forward by 1. "I have seen the beginning and the end; what will come, and what brought us to this point. I knew of you before you were born, and remembered you after your death." Timesage Aetheron WIND Spellcaster / Synchro 6 / 2400 / 1800 1 "Timesage" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned: move the turn count forward by 3. "Time is circular, mortals. What goes around actually does come around." Timelord's Superweapon - Time Plague Continuous Spell All non-"Timelord" monsters lose 500 ATK/DEF x the number of turns that have passed since they were Summoned. If a monster's ATK or DEF would be reduced to 0 by this effect, banish it. It is Special Summoned during the End Phase. "Everything withers, child. All things go from order to chaos, from life to death. Time is a cruel mistress, but one whose call everyone must answer. Everyone... except us." Link to comment
DARKPLANT RISING
These seem to have amazing potential. They have a searcher, a reviver, and a rather strong Xyz (Oh, and BTW, I'd give its revival effect a "Level 4 or lower" clause - just for a bit of balance). Final Countdown probably wouldn't have the space to run this (they're better off lock-style - check my siggy) but this on its own is something I'd use if printed. I might change their names though, since the "Time Lord" monsters exist in the OCG. Link to comment
Umbra
It's not as much "Run Timelords in Final Countdown" (except for Visions of Endtime / Time-Flow Pinnacle, of course) as it is "Run Final Countdown in Timelords". It takes one of the most stall-tastic win conditions in the game and brings it up to speed, so to say. Limiting the level is probably a good idea - doing that now. Technically, the Time Lords are only called that in the TCG, and would be distinguished in the original Japanese with different kanji and whatnot, so that wouldn't be a problem, really. However, it's noted, and I'll try to think of a better name for them. [Frankly, I had forgotten about the TMGs' name change.] Link to comment
Umbra
Alright, first major update is now in place. • Renamed to "Timesages". • Visions of Endtime and Time Warp now specifically target "Timesage" cards, and can therefore no longer search themselves or any of the already existing "Time" cards. • Added three new cards: a Tuner which can generate both Synchro and Xyz monsters on its own, a powerful Synchro that can restore fallen Timesages to their former glory, and a Continuous Spell designed to spread destruction within enemy ranks.
