The Lost Terra

Recommended Posts

The Lost Terra is a 'pocket universe' which expands by imagination. The only existing areas so far are:

  • The Arena: Has a bi-yearly (twice a year) tournament for warriors of all kinds. Has a practice room where you can skirmish, converse and unite with other warriors
  • Hadro Village: Has a smith, barber (female), a mine, farmers' fields, inn and a clothier/armorer.
  • Hadro Forest-Lands: Teeming with wildlife and trees, the Hadro Forest-Lands are a great place for camping, picnicking, hunting and spending time. There are legends of fairy-folk living in the great Redwood trees at the heart of the forest.
  • The Darklands: If you travel south, you will reach a place never touched by sunlight, a place with untold dangers. All adventurers that have journeyed in here never returned.

Add your characters, possible areas and story arcs and The Lost Terra will expand into a universe of endless characters and adventurers.

Rules

  • No god or god-like characters please. You are allowed to mention religion and have characters be religious.
  • Mature content is not accepted.
  • Characters should have a description when they enter The Lost Terra unless they are supposed to be mysterious
  • This is a fantasy-based world. No guns please.
  • Feel free to add pop-culture references (to a small level, no troll characters please)
  • If I put an * next to a character, they can be claimed. When you claim a character, that character is controlled by you and you only.

Aggroll, the Arena Master, was monitoring a skirmish between the town champion Clara* and a newcomer Lucas*.

Clara grew up in Hadro village and hunted in the Forest-Lands with her father since she was 10. She was tough, fast, precise and deadly. She carried a wicked halberd that had been blessed by a passing priest. She hasn't found the use for that blessing, but she had a feeling that she would figure out soon. She was 5'8'' with short reddish-brown hair and green eyes. She was in good shape, ate healthy and trained daily. She wore a chain mail suit with plate around her chest, neck, elbows, hands and thaighs. She wore steel-toed leather boots, which can be useful at times. Lucas was 6' with brown hair and blue eyes.

Lucas carried a scimitar and a short sword. He used them effectively. He used his scimitar mostly to attack, with his short sword being mostly used for defense and stabbing. He usually wore full plate, which was fairly common for male warriors, but he's been recently experimenting with different types of armor. He tried on a light steel suit that morning and he found that it worked well with his battle style.

Clara was the best, but she found that Lucas had potential, great potential.

They've been skirmishing for about 15 minutes when 5 new warriors walked in the room.

(One warrior per person please)
