OW! That hurt! :'(

Painful Selection
|Spell/Normal|
Select 10 cards in your Deck. Your opponent selects 3 of those cards and adds them to their hand. You select 2 of those cards and add them to your hand. Any cards not selected are sent to the Graveyard. Monsters sent to the Graveyard by this card's effect cannot be targeted by card effects.

There has to be a way to abuse this.

Now there is :P

Putting your cards in your opponent's hand seems kind of awkward... but whatever.

Setup your grave and +4 while doing it.

I'm sorry, my incredibly basic understanding of setups isn't enough to comprehend the power of this card. I need a better example.

Use this card.

Pick 2x Lyla, 1x Ryko, 1x Lumina, 1x Jain, 1x Garoth, 1x Ehren, 1x Celestia, 1x Sephylon, 1x JD

Opponent picks 3 of them.
You pick JD and Sephylon.
Grave now has four LS.
Rape face.

Then they're still in your hand.

Did I just word it incorrectly or did you misunderstand it? Whatever cards your opponent selects gets added to their hand, not yours. The only ones added to your hand are the 2 that you select after your opponent picks.
