Max Darkness
I like the original Geminis, so here's some support for one of them. (Written using my newest Hybrid OCG) Enjoy. Effect: You can send 1 "Aquarian Alessa" from your hand or side of the field to the Graveyard: Place this card on the field (from your hand). When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Discard 2 random cards from your opponent's hand OR Discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand; Card effects that would activate in your opponent's Graveyard when this effect resolves are negated.
Effect: You can send 1 "Aquarian Alessa" from your hand or side of the field to the Graveyard: Place this card on the field (from your hand). This card is treated as a Normal Monster while on the field and in the Graveyard. You can Normal Summon this card on the field: It is treated as an Effect Monster, and the following effect: * When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Discard 2 random cards from your opponent's hand OR Discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand; Card effects that would activate in your opponent's Graveyard when this effect resolves are negated. Lexadin
Very fitting img and name. Pretty much an buffed up 'Aquarian Alessa'. I'm pretty shure I already know, but it's alternative effect does include the last part of its effect into it. Or is it always active? If it's the 1st one. It's a decent support. I like how the last part negates any 'Fabled'/'DW' suprises. I'd give it a 8.4/

Either you discard 2 with the risk that something might activate, or 1 with a total lockdown. Thanks for rating.
ragnarok1945
"Discard 2 random cards from your opponent's hand OR Discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand" Here's what I don't get both effects are discard cards from your opponent's hand so why is the 2nd option there? Max Darkness
"Discard 2 random cards from your opponent's hand OR Discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand" Here's what I don't get both effects are discard cards from your opponent's hand so why is the 2nd option there?
Because the effects actually are: * Discard 2 random cards from your opponent's hand. * Discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand; Card effects that would activate in your opponent's Graveyard when this effect resolves are negated. The lock-down effect only triggers when the lesser discard option is chosen. Either you (if you know your opponent cannot take advantage of it) demolish your opponent's hand, or you discard one less card, but with the security of preventing any effects from activating. Sander
Okay, not being picky or anything, just curious about the matter of why did you make this card a Gemini monster, especially when it doesn't involve any of the normal traits that the regular Gemini monsters posess?
Since I treat the 'This card is treated as a Normal Monster...' part as the Gemini rulings, I treat it is read when making a Gemini. That part is applied, but hidden, in the same way Synchro Monsters hide the 'This card can only be Synchro Summoned from the Extra Deck by sending the above cards you control to the Graveyard' part of their effects.
