Blackbeard has been introduced along with the Admirals as some of the Big Bad Ones, and they have remained quite consitent in appearance just like Orochimaru throughout the series. I actually like idea of confinement too a single Arc, allows for more stronger and possible more interesting villains to appear. One day, just looked it back up while I was bored. Good job, Alex, on that one. I loved it since. Bleach, I could never grasp. I just didn't think it was my type. I kinda hated Naruto after the First fighting round of the Exams. My favorite scene was the Rock Lee vs. Gaara, that took out my enjoyment. It couldn't be topped for a while, so I faded away from it. Given his relatively low intelligence he won't really get what's happening. And off the top of my head, Third Impact EVA 001 beats Goku with pure strength easily. About the "single arc" thing, villains typically show up as the primary antagonist of their arc, only to later be reduced to recurring villains after their defeat. With Naruto, Orochimaru was a constant presence, and then Akatsuki took that role from him, but now Tobi and Kabuto are the prominent villains. Granted, the One Piece villains stick around, which isn't a bad thing, but it felt episodic since the villains got defeated, someone joins the crew, and then we move on. Crocodile seemed to the equivalent of Orochimaru from when I watched it, since he the Baroque Works arc was such a long story arc, but even he is now a recurring villain. The World Government is the constant antagonistic presence in One Piece, but the arcs still feel episodic. I simply prefer that Naruto's approach to story arcs. [/quote] So you are saying that he gets to have the advantage of knowing Goku's name and face? Why not add in the fact that they are in a giant plain, face to face? Eventually FUNimation started redubbing it, swears, blood and all that goodness, and so far up to the last episode of the Navarone arc have been released. To add an element of Death Note let's make Goku unaware they're in conflict. Kira enters his name while Goku asks him what he's doing. And then he's dead. Anything to that extent.
