Most of the time she's docile, easily distracted and perfectly harmless, it can either be hard or easy to provoke her into fighting, just plain attacking her isn't enough to make her fight back, however simply crushing a bug or killing a small animal is enough to make her go crazy. She likes any small living creature the smaller it is, the more she'll like it. Mostly she's fond of flying insect or small mammals. She's values the life of any small creature highly and will go so far as to take on an entire army convoy simply to prevent it running over a single butterfly. When in battle Kasumi prefers not to use her Zanpaktou, claiming that fighting would ‘upset her’ and instead ops for using Kidou spells, however if she feels the need to she will resort to using her Zanpaktou, albeit reluctantly. [b]Appearance:[/b] Kasumi appears as a tall woman with pale skin and long, straight silvery-white hair which reaches down to her hips. Her eyes are a pale pink colour and seem to glow in the dark, they are almond shaped and slightly larger than normal. She wears a pink silk chocker around her neck done up with a pink butterfly ornament, the sleeves of her shinigami robes are more like regular shirt sleeves and go all the way down to her wrists, ending with a pink frill at the end. Her Zanpaktou is held at her waist on the left in a pink scabbard and her sandals are decorated with two more butterfly ornaments. [b]Bio:[/b] While living in the Rukon district, Kasumi was picked up by the shinigami academy due to her high level of spiritual pressure. Having no real family or friends of her own Kasumi was easily persuaded and entered the academy, displaying considerable promise at an early stage but seeming unusually detached from everything around her. One of the teachers took a strange interest in her and began to tutor her in private using his own methods and swearing Kasumi to secrecy. Eventually it was discovered that the teacher in question had been attempting to recreate Aizen Sosuke’s experiments and had been subjecting Kasumi to regular doses of Hollow spiritual pressure in an attempt to invoke a Hollow-like transformation within her. The teacher was eventually discovered and found guilty of illegal experiments and exiled from Soul Society, rendered incapable of continuing his experiments. Kasumi resumed her studies and despite her treatment kept her word and spoke nothing of the secret training she’d received. She managed to graduate from the academy and entered the Gotei 13, quickly gaining a seated position and working her way up till she was promoted to Vice Captain. Kasumi has kept her Hollow abilities secret from all others in Soul Society and still trains with them when in private. [b]Zanpakuto Name:[/b] Ukikumo (Drifting Cloud) [b]Zanpakuto Appearance:[/b] In its sealed form, Kasumi’s Zanpaktou has pink wrapping on its handle and a guard vaguely in the shape of a butterfly. It is much shorter than a regular katana and Kasumi often holds it backwards when using it. [b]Shikai Release Phrase:[/b] Drift, Ukikumo [b]Shikai Appearance:[/b] Upon release, Kasumi’s Zanpaktou becomes a pair of katar which she uses in either hand. Both blades give off a white mist. [b]Shikai Abilities:[/b] In its Shikai form, Kasumi’s Zanpaktou produces a white mist which Kasumi is able to control and manipulate freely, even so far as changing its density from a gas to a solid. [b]Bankai Release Phrase:[/b] Lower the veil and vanish into the mist, Kochou no Kumo (Cloud of Butterflies) [b]Bankai Appearance:[/b] Kasumi’s weapons vanish completely and a thick fog envelops the immediate area. Kasumi herself becomes one with this mist and can move freely about it. [b]Bankai Abilities:[/b] Kasumi becomes one with the mist she creates, able to appear and disappear at will, manipulate the mist as she sees fit such as changing its shape and its density and is able to ‘feel’ any movement from within it. Due to its nature, Kasumi finds it hard to maintain her Bankai form and can only hold it for ten minutes at most and it can only cover a limited area. [b]Abilities:[/b] Along with her Shinigami powers Kasumi also possesses some Vizard powers and is able to summon a hollow mask at will to give her a power boost. The mask’s appearance is that of a plain white mask with blank eyes, grooves going from the corners of the mouth down to the chin and two pink markings under the eyes that look like tears. When using her hollow mask Kasumi has access to some hollow powers, including Sonido and Cero. [spoiler=Short Beginning] Kasumi wandered calmly through the forest with a feeling of contempt tranquillity, admiring the scenery around her as she watched various creatures flying through the air, crawling along the ground or resting in the branches, she was in heaven. She eventually came upon a clearing in the forest with a small family of rabbits hopping about in the centre. Kasumi hung back lest she frighten them to admire the creatures, a soft smile crossing her face as she observed them. As she watched the scene a sudden wave of spiritual energy flowed through the air, warning Kasumi to the presence of a hollow making its way through the forest. She looked up in time to see a skeletal dinosaur type hollow knocking down the trees as it made its way towards her. The rabbits immediately dived for cover as the creature made its way into the clearing, letting out a blood chilling roar as it spotted Kasumi. Kasumi’s eyes narrowed dangerously as it raised took another step forward, its massive foot about to crush one of the fleeing rabbits beneath it. “Hado #1, Sho!” The hollow found itself flying back before it had completed its step, flattening several trees as it toppled over from the kidou spell. Kasumi followed up by jumping high into the air as the hollow got to its feet. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man!” Kasumi recited as the hollow stood upright and looked up at her “Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws." Kasumi landed gracefully on the hollows muzzle and raised both hands with her palms facing right between the hollows eyes, a look of pure rage on her face. “Hadou # 33, Soukatsui!” She finished. Her spell unleashed itself as a blast of pale blue energy that tore the hollow’s head to shreds within moments before fading away, leaving a headless hollow in its wake. Kasumi landed back on the ground as the rest of the creature’s body dissolved in front of her. His listing of accepted positions and reserved is rather.. difficult at first to figure out... If I did this.. I'd have a general list of captain and vice-captains positions with the name of the person who has it, with (official/reserved) next to it. And if no one has it atm, I would leave it blank.
