Supreme: Not my style... Lol. I usually do thought in a lighter color, along with the '. I think it helps people to be become better at realizing hints in coloring, punctuation and wording that seperated thoughts from speech. I've come across a few people that have mistaken thought for speech and it's annoying at times. Lol

Ad: Yay.

Rupert: Hmmm.. I'll permit you a second character when you're able to post most more often.

Guys, unfortunately, my iPod is dying so I'll have to bid you all a goodnight!

I don't like the coloration of text at all, note how I've only ever used it in, say, 3 RPs, and the first time I used it, it was A RULE to color your text.

I like it.

It adds personality.

Vivid colors are less intelligent looking, though.

I'll handle this one:

______________________________________

Many many reasons:
1 - Favorite color
2 - Emotion of the character
3 - Color which best represents the character
4 - Represents the character's personality
5 - Faction of the character (?)
______________________________________

But your point is valid, about depth of writing.

Must... resist... natural urge... to argue...

God damn it, I can't do this!

How does coloring text add personality!?! You know what adds personality? A f*** load well wrote of dialogue and description adds personality!

Different colors say different things. If I colored my characters dialogue, say, bright flamin' yellow, it'd be irritating on the eyes, causing the reader to think the character itself is irritating. If I color it purple, a color usually very easy on the eye, it would make the atmosphere a bit more somber. Do you get what I'm saying?

But it all boils down to how the writers will act out the character and his or her interactions, yeah.
