Catterjune
Never read the series, because I hated reading when I was a kid because my teacher yelled at me really hardcore during the book fair in the third grade and never read ever again. Recently... acquired... all 54 books, the Megamorphs book, the Andalite, Hork-Bajir, and Ellimist Chronicles, Visser, and the crappy Choose Your Own Adventure books. Anyone familiar with the series? What should I expect? Also, what is the preferred reading order? Alternatively, just discuss among yourselves the series, if you want.
Admiral Tim
Read it chronologically. They are fairly interesting though I have only read some of the main series. But since they aren't really that well linked together feel free to read the ones you want first. But if you don't read them in order I find it very hard to make it through books 1,2, or 3 as I already know what happens.
Lunar Origins
These books are my childhood. I read like 30 of em in the few days following my 7th birthday, as I got nearly all of them at that time
Agro
I remember having fond memories of the books, but knowing that they were nothing special.
Admiral Tim
True. Younger children (8-10) might like them more than you will

Nɇvɇrmorɇ
I remember trying to read one, but got bored kinda fast. But I was a lot younger. Like, in elementary school.
Larxene
I only read the first 20 or so, and I was never able to find the rest in stores. There were some of the later ones of course, but I wasn't going to skip parts of the story to get them. However, I did read them all chronologically. The Hork-Bajir, Ellimist (I think), and Visser books all took place at specific points in the main timeline (taking place as stories told by other characters I believe) so that was when I read them. I looked online to check when I should read them. I don't remember about the Andalite one, but I read it anyway. I never read the Ellimist one though because I got bored a quarter of the way through it. As far as I remember, it was pretty good. If I ever had the chance, I'd gladly go back and finish it. The books are short anyway, I could probably finish the entire series in a couple months if I had all the books.

Ren✧
I did like these books, but bigger and better things came around and I just kinda left the series. As weird as it seems, I never read the first book...then as I was around book 24 I acquired the 54th book and read it. Got totally confused and didn't like how it ended. But up until the last book these are entertaining novels.
