~DH~ Game Review - Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Type of Game: FPS (First Person Shooter), Stealth, RP

9.5/10 I'd highly sugest this game to anyone, you'd like it if you have played any of the Splinter Cell games

The game starts with you as an ex- SWAT team member named Adam Jensen in the year 2027, where humans and robots can fuse with each other. There is a break in at this place where Jensen works, Sarif Industries, and you are sent in to investigate. Eventually you come across a boss who effectivly completly Pwn's you. Near to death the only chance Jensen has is to get Augmented, basicly turned into a cyborg. As you progress through the game you earn Praxis points which can be used to improve your Augmentations, e.g. Making you run faster or jump higher.

As well as being a good FPS it also has a RP side to it, a lot like that of Mass Effect, you can talk to people with a variety of different statements making the game unique for you. Weather your a stealthy soldier or a full on frontal assault person this game is good for you.

I've heard good things about this game - I was interested in the original Deus Ex and completely oblivious of all the hype behind DX:HR at least until I heard of the TF2 promo for it. I haven't bothered to pick it up though, since it's pretty expensive and I have other games to play.
