Yu-Gi-Oh!: Brink of Chaos [OPEN]

There was once only one world. it consisted of both humans and the beasts we know as "cards". 5000 years ago, these monsters were sealed away by the millennium items, forever trapped in their own world within a world. That boundary was clearly defined by a single gate, the Dimension Infinity Gate. This was only meant to be accessed from the outside. Over the years, humans became foolish. They used these cards in competitions, and some abused the cards' powers, or disgraced them by forging copies or uselessly sacrificing strong monsters for menial gain. The most powerful monsters refused to cooperate any longer. In the human world, they refused commands, destroyed their own equip cards, and even attempted to assault their owners, only to realize they were but simple holograms. In the monster world, however, it was utter chaos. What was once a mere holding ground was now a tyranny of the greatest monsters ever seen. The lesser monsters were persecuted and captured, put into cells or forced to work on bringing down the gate. That was their plan, after all. They would destroy the Dimension Infinity Gate that kept their physical forms out of the human world, and they would take back the world they claimed was rightfully theirs.

Now, a rabble of misfit monsters on the run, attempt to escape through the gate and warn the humans of the other monsters, and try to gather the current owners of the seven millennium items. Little do they know there are others that will try to stop them once they reach the human world. Pick your side and fight to the edges of reality!
