Charlotte stopped herself before she started laughing at the girl’s question, just managing to stifle her snigger and turned away briefly in case she started laughing again. She turned back after a second or two still with a bit of a smirk on her face as she looked back at the girl with the look of genuine curiosity on her face.

“No they don’t,” Charlotte replied, unable to believe she was even having this conversation “It’s hard to explain really, it’s just…” she bounced a few words about in her head while she tried to think of a decent explanation “…It’s because it’s hard core, lots of loud drums and electric guitars and stuff so really it’s called Rock because the name just suits the style.”

'Did I say something...Funny?' Emily questioned, tilting her head in confusion when the girl turned away, shoulders shaking in surpressed laughter. When she turned back, there was still an amused smirk on her face but she still answered her question. "I see. It is because the name fits the hard core style. I have never heard drums or a gutair sound like that before."

"Thank you for explaining it to me. I am afraid my music knowladge doesn't go further than classical, but this rock music sounded....Nice I suppose." Emily said smiling, "By the way, I am Emily Fletcher. It has been a pleasure meeting you."

Lukas put down the bass. "Yah, it's called rock because it's hard to the core, just liike most rocks." He strung the bass around his body. "The name's Lukas, by the way. I realeased an album not too long ago, though it's no biggie." He looked at the girl, deciding that he thought she would be a good friend, even though she was a little pampered. "I'm here because I can play every instrument, almost, at least, by ear. I enjoy it a ton." He looked at the girl with the iPod and asked "Hey, what's your name. You have a great taste in music, by the way."

Charlotte turned her iPod off and set about winding the headphones around it so they didn’t get tangled up as she listened to the girl’s reply. She wasn’t the least bit surprised to hear that all the girl had ever heard was ‘classical’ music before introducing herself as Emily Fletcher, slightly taking Charlotte by surprise given that she’d expected most of the students to have flashy names like Zebedia or Sebastion.

Charlotte was about to reply when the boy with the bass stopped playing a spoke up to introduce himself and boast about having an album, while Charlotte did raise a quizzical eyebrow but would admit to being impressed, at least if the boy wasn’t just making it up to try and pick up a few girls. Although judging by the bass and the way he did seem talented with it (he’d managed to keep up with the beat of Charlotte’s iPod despite the sound being muffled) the statement did seem to have some credibility to it.

“Uh, thanks I guess,” Charlotte replied to the boy’s comment about her taste in music, not entirely sure how to respond “My name’s Charlotte, Charlotte Loyyd.”

"Big Ben academy hmm?" Lewis repeated slowly, "Even the queens grandchildren you say? Impressive" Lewis noted, actually being honest about his impressed status. Lewis then noticed his sister, Lilith, coming twords him, after just changing, and looked her up and down quickly, 'Damn it! I knew I would have looked awesome in that!' he thought, then looked straight at her, "I'm doing fine so far, Lewis" he replied to her, then gestured to the people around him, first at the girl that had come up to him first, "This is Alma, the heir to the Morrigan Fishing Company" he explained, then gestured to the man, the one who'd given him and Alma a rose, "And this is Adian, his family owns the Big Ben academy," he explained, "Adian, Alma, this is my twin brother, Lewis"

"Cool." He said, sticking his hands in his pockets. "Not the greatest uniform is it? Kind of starchy, if you ask me." He scratched his leg. It was really itchy. Why did all 'High Quality' clothes have to be like this. Would it have killed them to put fabric softener in the load? Seriouslly! "Oh, by the way, if you're wondering, the name of the album is The Love I never found." He said, trying not to sound stuck up about it or anything. "It's a collection ofALt. Rock songs. I've got some friend who help me. They're awsome."

Emily smiled at Charlotte, "It is nice to meet you." She turned to Lukas expressing the same formality. He told them that he was practically a musical progidy, and had already came out with his own album that a friend of his helped him. "A music progidy? I am glad that there are others who appriciate music here. I truly believed that I would be alone in that department." She confessed. Hearing Lukas' comment on their uniforms, Emily looked at her own. "I do not think they are that bad. Most schools have similar uniforms anyway, so there is really no difference to me."

Lukas looked back at Emily. "Well, most of the schools I went to until here had no school uniform. Unless you counted the gang coulours that some people wore. It was a terrible school." He looked back on his elementary life, and thought about it. There were security gaurds at every corner, feeling you up every time you left to make sure you had no drugs, and searching your backback. There were metal detectors and fights and,... He shuddered. That was not something he wanted to be thinking about. It was a new school, nothing like that would happen here. He changed the subject. "So, where are a; of you all from? I'm from Little Rock, Arkansas, USA."

Charlotte found herself genuinely surprised when Lukas told them about the schools he grew up in, they certainly didn’t sound like the sort of place a pair of rich-ass parents would send their children and judging by the bass and his mere presence he was certainly not low on money. She remembered him saying he was some kind of musical prodigy and, by the fact that he had his own album; Charlotte concluded he must have made his family money by playing at concerts or something. She had to admit it was impressive, more than she’d ever done herself. Needless to say it didn’t appear as though his backstory sat particularly well with him as he soon changed the subject.

“America, huh?” Charlotte replied, slightly impressed “Crap, I just live here. Well not here exactly but I’ve lived in London pretty much all my life. I guess my parents don’t really like to travel that much.”

She trailed off, breaking eye contact with Lukas and staring slightly off to the left.

Aidan smiled and looked at Lewis and nodded. "Your Lilith's brother? Its very nice to meet you, I'm Aidan Powell." he said with a smile. He moved away from the group and bowed a little. "Sorry my princesses, and Lilith's brother...I would love to continue to talk, but I have to get ready for my classes." he said with a chuckle. Aidan wasn't really planning to go to class, but he was interested in looking for a nice room in this high school. If I can find an abandoned room, I might be able to use it to my advantage...especially for my one idea.

Lukas counted off all the places he had been, only in his head though. "Yeah, we traveled a little, though not too much. So, what's your favorite band, CHarlotte?" He said, looking at her. "Mine's My CHemical Romance. I also like Muse, and those sorts of bands." He said. He remembered how much he pretty much owed his position he was in right now to My CHemical ROmance. It was their song, Planetary, that got him where he was today. He used it as his sort of thieme song, and was the song that started everything. He sang in his head: "There may be something outside the window, but you just, never know..."

"I am from England." She responded to Lukas' question, then made an added comment after Charlotte, "My parents travel all the time..." As Emily observed Charlotte's and Lukas' conversation, she noted that she didn't have anything in common with them, besides the fact that they listened to music. She should have thought this would be the case, but she came to the school with a bit of optimism within her. Emily allowed them to converse without her inturruption and turned to look at some of her future classmates. Some of the other kids walked over and greated her, while giving disgusted looks to the two - but mainly Charlotte- before leaving.

Lewis waved good-bye to Adian as he walked away, "See you later, Adian" he called, then turned to Alma, "Well he was quite the charmer, hmm?" he said, shrugging, then noticed a bit of something going on not too far of, one girl who was acting very strangley, 'Rocking out' as some commoners might refer to it as, another kid who looked like he probably didn't come from England, also acting weird, doing pretty much the same thing, and a fairly normal girl, who seemed English enough, and actually seemed civilized, who was now talking to some other students, Lewis sighed and walked twords them,, "So who are YOU two buffoons?" addressing his question at the commoner looking girl and the non-English looking bloke.

As the lady walked up to them, he expected something like hello, or how are you doing. Espicially not So, WHo are you two buffoons? "Well, hello to you too. We, people," He said, indicating him and Charlotte, "Are speaking about music. Anyway, why are you being mean. Honestly, what's the matter with you?" He said, looking appauled. Aren't thes epeople supposed to be at least mildly classy? "To answer your question, I'm Lukas." He said, without a smile. "Why do you think we're some sort of stupid primate, just because we enjoy music that's not classical?"

"I don't see it as being rude" Lewis replied, "I see it as stating a fact, you two simply looked like buffoons to me" he shrugged, "Besides, isn't this a school auditorium? Why would you take up a Bass in a school Auditorium?" he asked, insinuating that that's one of the stupidest things he's ever heard, "Anyway, who ever said that I thought you were a stupid primate because you didn't listen to classical? I never mentioned you being a stupid primate, nor classical music" Lewis pointed out, "Because if you didn't know, a Buffoon isn't a primate, it's an insulting term, a Baboon is, however, a primate" Lewis told the kid, not caring say anything about his accent.

"Yeah, he was something else." Alma dreamily stated with a sarcastic undertone. She let out a quick laugh. Maybe being at this school wouldn't be quite as bad as she thought it would be; She had already made a friend. This upped her mood to a certain degree of mania, and as such she was unusually peppy. She noticed the some of the other kids, to which Lilith had also gazed upon. She followed suit when Lilith walked over.

She listened in as Lilith called them buffoons and the boy, whom was carrying a bass guitar, answered back. She recalled that his name was Lukas.

"Oh, Lilith, let them be! They are only enjoying their music..." She thought for a moment. "Lukas, would your last name happen to be Verone?"

"Now, aren't we jumping to conclusions?" He said, getting a little bit more angry "1. This bass is the reason I am pretty much alive, and I don't want to hear any jeers about it. 2. You didn't say anything about that, and I apologize, but only for that. 3. I mixed the two up. There is no reason to bully me because I look like a 'buffoon'." He said. This made him pretty mad, the first comment. "Also, I'm pretty sure calling someone a buffoon kind of is rude. " He said. He then turned to the.. boy?.. who had just walked up to them. Actually, yes, my last name is Verone. Why do you ask?"

OOC: How could he possibly think Alma was a boy? She's wearing a dress after-all! Not to mention the word "She" in the post

IC: Lewis let out a little tsk tsk tsk, and shook his head, "Of course it's rude, I said it was an insulting term, didn't I?" Lewis asked rhetorically, "As for your 3 points, one: I don't care if some bass kept you alive, I still don't see why you feel the need to break the peace by playing it in an auditorium" Lewis told him, 'Especially horrid music like that' Lewis thought to himself, but then turned to Alma, "Oh you're right Alma" he shrugged, "I guess I should just leave them alone, they're not of any importance to me anyway" he shrugged, giving a quick glare to Lukas at that last part, "Though I'm not surprised that this is what Americans are like" Lewis grumbled, soft enough so that Lukas wouldn't make it out, but could here that he was at least saying something.

Alma smiled.

"Oh! I remember you now! You made a bit of a buzz in the media with your album." She took out her MP3 player and flipped it on, waiting a few seconds for the loading screen to pass. After that she put it to the now playing list, and the album art to Lukas' collection showed itself.

"I occasionally like to listen to your songs. I find them really good, and your genre spread is quite fantastic." She flipped the device off and shoved it into her pocket. "Anyways, my name is Alma Morrigan. It is a pleasure to finally be able to meet you."

She looked back at Lilith. "Oh, hush. Not all Americans are the same, you know. I've dealt with quite a few overseas. This boy is quite nice, considering how and where he was raised."

As the girl left, Lukas mummered under his breath, "Wow, hasn' she heard of manners?" He then then turned to the girl. "Oh, it really is no big deal. Tons of people make albums everyday." He said, though he knew it had a big impact on the music world, considering he was one of the few people who played so many different types of music. "That's cool that you listen to my stuff. It's nice to meet you too." He said. THen, he decided to answer her question. "Umm, I think we can leave whenever. Do any of you ladies want to come with?"

Lewis just sighed, "If you say so Alma, at least I hadn't said it aloud" he said, shrugging, grumbling that last part, "Anyway, I can't imagine we'd be here for much longer" Lewis told her, thinking about how long they'd been here. At that exact moment, a speaker crackled over head, and a female's voice came on, "Attention all students, you should now leave the auditorium, it will be about an hour before classes start, you are free to look around the school until then" she told them, Lewis looked back at Lukas again, "Thanks but no thanks" he replied to his offer, quite obviously putting a bit of sarcasm on it, then turned around and started to walk away.

Aidan had already left the auditorium and was looking through the rooms, most of them being occupied by school and classes. "Hmm, doesn't seem to have any vacant rooms up..." he said stopping and putting his hand to his chin. He looked and then saw a door and a sign that said "Art Room 2", and he opened it up, seeing it being empty and vacant. "This room...it's perfect! Now, I need to see the headmaster about this." Aidan said as he started heading towards the headmaster's office, following the signs and the map on the wall. He finally arrived at the headmaster's office door and he knocked on it.

Headmaster Lane was sitting at his desk, using up the hour before classes started and he had actual duties to do to waste away his time like normal people. About a year ago, his friend showed him this wonderful thing from japan, it was called "Anime", and, despite being a middle aged man, he was instantly hooked on it, and commonly spent some of his free time watching it. Not to long ago, he had began re-watching a certain anime, and at the current time, he was on episode 15 of a certain Anime which happened to involve a high school much like this one, in the sense that it was mainly for the wealthy, except that it was in Japan, when he heard a knock at the door, he hastily paused the episode and minimized the window, "E-er, Come in!" he called to whoever was behind the door.

Lilith read the two who had been accompanying Lewis. There was a girl and a boy with her brother, though Lilith was no wholly sure if the boy was hitting on the two or not. She looked to the other two and let her brother take care of the introductions. She had meant to stay close to Lewis for the time being to get used to the change in gender. She was definitely sure that she'd have Lewis explain a plausible plan in case anything goes wrong after, assuming Lilith or Lewis wouldn't abandon procedures out of excitedness or carelessness.

Before she knew it, Lewis had already gone over to somebody who he had nothing to do with and had begun some sort of conflict with him.

"The fool..." She whispered to herself with a sense of slight bother, following him and watching him continue on with this boy, who had apparently been a music artist; proven when Alma showed off her iPod with his own music in it. Lilith was not rather impressed, though. She had not been an avid fan of music in general, ceasing her thoughts when Lewis began parting and the students had been told to explore the school. She made it her first priority to catch up to his walking away and tugging on his arm. "Where are you going, Lewis?" She quietly asked as to have the question be inaudible to anybody but them.

Emily had remained silent through out the entire conversation between Lukas and the girl that had walked over. She didn't feel as though she should inturrupt seeing as she was ot being addressed, and being in arguments were of no interest to her. Emily was the type to simply walk away from a confrontation, ignore the person completely, or try to find some common ground. The latter of the three rarely happened. Another girl then came over, apparently being a friend of the first girl. 'This corner....Is becoming increasingly popular...'

Emily instead turned back to Charlotte and asked, "What was the band of that song? I would very much like to explore more of this rock music."
