Ulric High School: A prestigious Private School [Started/Not Accepting/IC]

On a cool Autumn morning, outside a very large building with many colorful leaves scattered across the grounds, a black stretch limousine pulls up near the gates. Out from the front left side stepped a tall, balding man wearing a tuxedo, who walked all the way to the back of the vehicle and opened the door, "We've arrived, Madame Lewis, Master Lilith" the Chauffeur announced, using a completely plain tone, even on the last part, referring to the twins cross-dressing. Out from the car stepped someone with long hair, girls clothing, and inconspicuous fake breasts, anyone looking at him without knowing him before would think he really was a girl. The Chauffeur geastured twords the massive building, "This would be Ulric Highschool, Master Lewis" he told Lewis, Lewis looked almost awed, "It's amazing, it's as big as our house!" Lewis exclaimed, looking at the Highschool, which was three stories high, had two towers on the East and West side respectively, and a large clock tower rising out of the middle, and was as long as Buckingham Palace. The entire thing was surrounded by walls, with a large gate at the front, though it was open at the current time. Lewis looked back inside the Limo, "Alright, lets get going Lilith, we probably shouldn't be late to the assembly" he told his sister, then made his way into the school, and then to the Auditorium, where they had been told the assembly was being held.

When he entered the room, he saw a giant stage, infront of rows and rows of seats. Up on the stage was a man, probably in his thirties or forties, with well groomed black hair, wearing a dark black suit and a red tie, standing behind a Podium. Lewis immediately assumed this was the Headmaster Lane. Lewis noticed several other kids of his age, all looking equally as posh as he did, sitting, watching the stage. Lewis took a seat in an empty row, and waited for his sister to come.

The man at the podium then started to speak, "Welcome students. I am your Headmaster, Headmaster Lane, to be specific," the man introduced himself, "As you know, most of you know, the reason you're here is because of either your enormous family fortune, or amazing intellect. This school will be one of the biggest milestones in your life, as far as your future goes," he explained, "The few geniuses that we have here may very will become rich due to the training course that this school will go through" The headmaster went on, and the speech went on for about thirty minutes of him waffling on about how great the school is, and how it will affect the kids lives for the better, "Now" he said, after most of his speech was over, "You shall collect your uniforms, on either side of the Auditorium are staff members with uniforms, men the to left, women to the right" he told the students. After saying that, the students all stood up, split into the groups of men and women, and each went to go collect their uniforms. The outfit for the males was a light blue blazer, dress pants, and a red tie. The female outfit was a pale yellow dress with a red ribbon at the top center.

Lewis grouped into the females line, and received his dress, it was only after looking at it that he realized that he would most likely feel EXTREMELY silly wearing it, 'At least it'll probably be just as bad for Lilith' he thought, to make it seem like he wasn't alone. "There are dressing rooms attatched to the auditorium on either side, right next to where you have received your outfit, please put them on immediately" the Headmaster told everyone, which again was followed by everyone filling into the area he specified.

"Alma, I love you. Have fun." Her father smiled and gave her a kiss on the forehead before pulling out and exiting through the front gates. It was a touching moment, sure, but something about the school seemed to neutralize the warm atmosphere that her father usually cast.

Brushing the odd feeling off, she glanced at her phones clock; it read 8:23.

"Crap." She offhandedly said to herself before making a dash for the auditorium. By the time she had arrived there were few seats left open; she had decided to sit herself down next to a girl of rather petit stature on the far left edge. "Just in time!" She stated happily, nudging the girl next to her. The small girl ignored her.

"Welcome students. I am your Headmaster, Headmaster Lane, to be specific..." The headmaster yammered on for what seemed to be an eternity. Alma would have actually dozed off if it hadn't been for one of the teachers lining the edges of the room quietly snapping at her. Well, so much for sleep.

"You shall collect your uniforms, on either side of the Auditorium are staff members with uniforms, men the to left, women to the right..." It seemed that the prick had actually managed to finish his speech! Alma breathed a sigh of relief, then the horror dawned on her that she would have to wear a uniform for the rest of her High School life. This did not put her in the best of moods, and it was worsened when she realized what the uniforms looked like.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me." She whispered under her breath. She had an absolute hatred for dresses- Not even she was sure where this hatred had stemmed from, though. Reluctantly, she walked up to the woman handing out the uniforms and snatched one out of the ladies hand, not even caring to say thank you. She made her way to the dressing room and quickly slipped the new dress on, doing it faster than the other girls had managed to.

"I've only been here forty-five minutes and I'm already starting to hate it." She said to herself, disgusted with the dress she now wore.

"Here we are Ms. Fletcher." The driver said as he opened the door to the limosine, and waited for the young female to exit. It was a few seconds before the young girl finally exited the limo, the driver closing the door behind her. "Have a wonderful first day Ms. Fletcher." The driver coninued. Emily faced the driver and gave a small smile, "Thank you Charlse...I'll see you later then."

"Of course Madam."

Emily turned her attention to the school a placid look on her face, as she thought about earlier that morning. She awoke to a silent house, her parents having already left. Not even a note saying 'Have a great first day', or anything. Emily wouldn't be surprised if they had completely forgotten about it. She closed her eyes and walked in, following the other students inside of the school. She didn't care if her parents forgot or not. It's not like it would have made a difference anyway.

Before long every student was gathered and an middle-aged man took the podium that was on a stage. He began talking, continously speaking about how great the school is and the benefit of all those that have been allowed to enroll. Emily completely tuned him out, only coming too when the masses began to move again. She was quickly to realize they were obtaining their uniforms. Without objection or complaint - much unlike the female who snatched a uniform from the lady handing them out. A look of absolute disgust was on her face. She obviously didn't care for the choice of uniform.

Silently Emily grabbed her uniform, and entered the dressing room, changing in a leisurly fashion, then leaving when she was finished. "I suppose it could be worse." She murmered to herself patting down the front of her uniform.

Lukas got out of the car, with one piece of luggage on his back, contaqining his lucky bass, and the other one containing his stuff. he walked in, plucking on his bass a tune not unlike the song in the back of his head. He hummed the words to it, enjoying the song. e walked intot he school, and listened to the man droning. It was extremely boring, so he took out his headphones on, and listened to the song he had been thinking about. He quitely sing to himself: "Block out the world, headphones on.." When he noticed everyone was leaving, he got up to, and grabbed his uniform from the man, saying "Thanks." He walked intot he dressing room, and changed, then went full on with his bass.

Charlotte checked her notes again as the train pulled into the station, finally stopping with a loud hiss that Charlotte could hear even through the loud music playing on her iPod. She grabbed her things and stepped off the train ignoring pretty much everyone around her as she left the station and checked her directions again. Both her parents were and where unable to give her a lift leading Charlotte to make her own way to her new school. She had received her letter a few weeks ago while her parents were out and, once they arrived home, had pretty much ordered them to agree to it, Charlotte had had quite enough of public schools and while she did very well in them she could never get along with anyone, leaving her with a very rocky reputation, she hoped that a private school would change all that, especially one that bothered to actually invite her so they must know who she was.

She checked her notes one more time and set off, after an hour of walking from the station Charlotte finally arrived at her destination, given away by the number of fancy limos, butlers and very posh, stuck-up looking people. She received a few odd stares from other people, no doubt wandering if she was lost, as she walked up to the gates with the rest of the students going through, probably the only person in the crowd without neatly combed hair and expensive clothes. She soon reached the auditorium and took a seat as far back as she could, not even bothering to turn her music off as she looked up to see the headmaster taking up his place on a stage at the front of the room.

Predictably the man began a speech about how great the school and its students where and about how they were the future and should aspire to greatness. Charlotte didn’t bother paying attention, she’s heard it all before and this was nothing special. The speech finally ended and the room began to separate into two as they lines up to collect their uniforms, leading to a lot of groans and disgusted looks from a lot of people. Charlotte finally turned her music off and stowed her iPod away in her jeans, standing up to join the rest of the girls, receiving her uniform without much of a fuss and going to change, deliberately taking her time as she did so. Charlotte didn’t really mind the uniform all that much, sure it looks ugly but anything could look badass with a pair of steel toe-cap leather boots and a sword 3 times the size of yourself.

"Master Aidan, we have arrived at Ulric High." the limo driver said, not pulling his eyes from the road.

"Thank you. Just pull up to the front if you please." Aidan said as he smiled, watching the limo drive up to the front of the school. The driver opened his door and he stood out of the limo, running his hand through his blond hair. "Well these seems like it's going to be an interesting year." he said as he grabbed his shoulder bag and walked inside the building, heading towards the auditorium. Aidan walked in as Headmaster Lane was explaining a few things, which he didn't care because his eyes were on the ladies in the auditorium. He walked towards the left of the auditorium, getting his uniform. Aidan walked out of the auditorium and then walked into the bathroom, only emerging again wearing his uniform, fixing his red tie. "This uniform really fits my fancy." he said fixing his hair again.

Originally, Lewis was worried about changing, thinking that it'd become obvious by looking at his body without the girly clothes on that he was a man, but he was able to change in private. He exited the dressing room with the dress on, feeling very, very silly, though he tried not to show it, and make it look like he actually liked it... which was still unusual, as most of the girls had taken to already hating the dresses. Lewis looked over to where the guys were coming out of, and none of them seemed to even remotely mind the uniform, quite a few looking like they liked the uniform, 'God damnit! Of course I'm stuck in the dress while Lilith and all the guys get a cool suit like that! Oh well, I'm sure we'll switch back soon anyways' Lewis thought as he looked on, then made his way back to the center of the Auditorium, as it seemed that everyone was to be dismissed from the auditorium soon.

Alma strolled towards the center of the auditorium; the dress was quite loose on her, but it didn't matter. It was, at the very least, comfortable. She took notice of some of the other girls who had already finished getting dressed. Most seemed like they didn't mind, although there were a few that looked less than comfortable in their new attire.

She then looked over to the boys side- how would she have loved to have one of their uniforms! "Could I possibly... get my hands on one of those?" She laughed at the thought. Of course she could! She could do anything she wanted to if she put her mind to it... but that would have to wait for later. No messing around now.

She looked around for someone to talk to, and saw an awkward looking girl who had a look on her face that screamed embarassment. She walked towards the girl and put her hand on her shoulder.

"So, you're not for the uniform either, are ya?" She asked. "I know I hate it; I'd much rather be wearing the boys uniform."

Lewis nearly jumped when some girl put her hand on his shoulder and started talking to him, not expecting someone to approach him so early. It took him a few seconds to gather himself, so that his voice didn't come out as his normal one, "Er, yeah" he replied, in a voice that now nearly mirrored his sisters, something he had been practicing with some people his family had hired for some time now. "Yeah, it is pretty bad" Lewis agreed with her, "Though I guess something like this is too be expected from a really posh school like this," he said, and sighed, 'On the other hand, if I'm wearing a dress, it's a lot harder to tell I'm a guy' he thought to himself, 'Though I don't know if that advantage is worth it'

Charlotte eventually finished changing and took a moment to get used to the uniform she’d be wearing concluding in moments that dresses did not suit her in the slightest, on the upside though at least she didn’t have to look at herself wearing it. She left the dressing rooms and re-entered the auditorium, finding most of the other students chatting animatedly either admiring their new uniforms or pointing out how much they hated it. Charlotte didn’t bother joining in instead opting to stand off to one side away from the rest of the students and plugged her iPod in again, suddenly realizing that the uniform didn’t come with any pockets. She sighed and opted to just cross her arms and hold the iPod in her hands as she turned it on, immediately getting lost in the loud rock music.

Emily walked through the crowd for a bit, seeing a few familiar faces to which she nodded too. Their parents were either partners with her parents, or of other generous whealth. Then there were students who behaved as though they had never been in a school like this. Emily herself paused to take in the surroundings. She would admit it was...Nice. After a while she made her way out of the crowd and became content with observing everyone else. It was then the strangest sound reached her ears. It was-..Was that music? It didn't sound like the music she was used to hearing. This seemed to have a very violent, and uncultured rhythm - as her instructor would say. Closing her eyes she began listening more closly to the every so light beat to the music. Emily was a very musically inclined individual, and was equally talented "playing by ear" as the saying goes. When Emily opened her eyes again she was staring at the one who was responsible for the music. It was a female, leaning against the wall away from the other students, and arms crossed.

Emily didn't move from her spot, or say anything. She just continued to stare. It was probably rude - no it was rude, and she knew that, but to be accurate she wasn't really staring at the girl, but more so pinpointing the source of the music so she could focus her hearing in that area. She wanted to hear more of this strange and different type of music. What was it called? Maybe she should ask?

Aidan walked back into the auditorium, after putting his uniform, smiling. He noticed a few of the girls being distraught about them wearing the uniform, mainly cause the guys got the better uniform. In the corner of his eye, he noticed two girls talking to each other(one of them not exactly being what 'she' seemed), and he smiled. Aidan walked towards them and smiled, stopping near them. "Excuse me, I couldn't help but see that neither of you liked the uniforms you were given." he said smoothly. "But...I happen to love a lady in a beautiful dress like that, especially you two ladies~" As he finished his sentence, he winked at both of the girls, still keeping his charming smile.

Thanks to the music Charlotte was deaf to the sounds around her and preffered it this way, opting to live in her own little world without the distraction of reality. She closed her eyes as the loud drum beats sounded in her ear, picture the sight of two powerful warrior battling it out amidst a storm on a mountain top, with each guitar sound corrospinging to a flash of lightning or the clashing of swords. Charlotte often imagined scenes like this while listening to music, finding it amusing to create fantastic scenes to corrospond with the music as she listened and enjoying ever moment of it, for the songs she listened to most often she had even memorized the battles she pictured in her head and imagined them again and again each time she listened to a particular song. A small smile formed on her face; fantasy was so much more fun that reality.

As the song began to die down and the battle ended Charlotte opened her eyes a crack to find someone standing in front of her. For a moment she wondered if the girl had been trying to talk to her and was unable to hear her over the sounds of music, but it didn't seem like the girl had spoken a word. Calmly she popped one headphone out so she could listen and looked up at the girl, a look of apathy showing on her face.

"What?" She asked curtly, a common London accent spouting forth "Did you want something?"

Bass Solo

Lukas walked out of the dressing rooom playing a bass solo he had found on the web. He thought it was pretty cool, and he didn't care about the wierd looks he was getting form the people around him. He walked up to the stage, and let it rip. He sat there, and a small group gathered around him to watch him play. He looked them up, and found Them listeningto his bass solo. He finished, and the group aplauded. He then tried to figure put what to do then. He walked around, trying to find something to do, and found someone talking to two girls. He walke dup to him and slapped his back. "Hey dude, my names Lukas. The reason I'm here is because I'm a musical prodigy, and I have an album out right now. What's your name?"

Aidan got his back suddenly slapped by someone named Lukas. He quickly stood straight and cleared his throat before looking at Lukas. "My name is Aidan Powell. And you do realize its rude to do that when one is talking to ladies." he said shooting a small smile at Lukas. Aidan looked back at the two girls and smiled again. "Well, as you both heard, my name is Aidan Powell...pleased to meet two beautiful cherry blossoms as you~" he said as he bowed a little. "And what are your names, may I ask??"

Lewis was a little weirded out when some guy had started to talk to him, flirting with him to be more precise, and then again was surprised when some other guy came in, then the first guy just told him off and ignored him, 'Well at least he knows his manners' Lewis thought, then listened to the Cherry Blossom comment, '...Er... Aren't Cherry Blossoms indigenous to Japan? Maybe he's played a little too much Okami, or maybe he's watched a bit too much anime' Lewis thought to himself, but he shook it off, he decided if he was playing a girl character, then he should try and act like one, and especially since this guy was so thoroughly convinced, "My name, Adian, is Lilith Brindly," he 'acted', using his sisters name instead, "It's quite nice to meet you"

Lukas returned the smile, and left, grumbling "It's also rude to point out that someone is being rude, espicially around girls.." He walked around, and started hearing a soft, yet heavy music. He tried his best to imitate the bass as he got closer, and he thought it sounded pretty close to the actual song. He didn't have the right type of bass yet, though. He sat closish to the girl, playing the bass. This time, no one gathered around, so he sat there imatating the bass for a while.

Alma nearly laughed as the girl finished her remark on the school. "Yeah, I should've expected it... I really hope we don't have to wear these all of the time." She said, more to herself than anybody. More and more people were gathering back into the auditorium as they finished changing. The outits fit some people well, but others looked terrible in them. She couldn't help but think of some remarks as she eyed the other students.

"Excuse me, I couldn't help but see that neither of you liked the uniforms you were given." Said a smiling boy, whom tried to sound smooth. "But...I happen to love a lady in a beautiful dress like that, especially you two ladies~." Alma smiled at the compliment. She couldn't resist giggling when the boy spoke.

"Yeah, the uniform isn't as good as what you guys got... I hope we don't have to wear this hideous thing all of the time."

She was startled when the self-declared 'Musical Prodigy' had came up and slapped the charming boy on his back. "Well, can't have too much modesty..." She thought, giving the boy a quick overlook. His name sounded familiar, but she pushed that thought aside when the other boy had asked for her name.

"Uhh... Yeah, my name is Alma. I'm here because... well, my family owns the Morrigan Fishing Company, and I'm to take over when I turn twenty-one." A sad look crossed her face when she got to the last part, but it quickly passed over and her smile returned.

"Lilith and Alma...wonderful names for two beautiful ladies." Aidan said with a smile, taking two roses from a nearby vase and handing them to both of them. "Well you two, meeting you today has just made my day here a lot more wonderful." He stood back and then ran his fingers through his hair, winking at both of them. "Anyway, I'm sure you both won't have to wear the dress all the time...although in my honest opinion, I would change the color of the dress to something that would fit a ladies personality. For example, perhaps a few rose patterns on some..." Aidan stopped and then looked at Lilith and then at Alma, smiling again.

'Rose patterns? Would those really look good on a dress like this? Well... maybe' Lewis wondered of Adians last comment, 'It sure will be awkward when he finds out I'm a guy' Lewis realized, but shrugged it off, "Yeah, maybe, I don't know how that would look though" he shrugged in reply to Adians idea, 'Either way, I guess he's probably really popular with the ladies' Lewis continued thinking, "So Adian," Lewis began, "What does your family do?"; he asked "The Brindly family is a technology inventor, manufacturer, and distributor," Lewis explained, giving them a little to talk about while they waited for whatever was to happen next to happen.

"Well Lilith, my father is the owner of Big Ben's Academy in London." Aidan said with a smile. "And thanks to that, we have even the Queen's grandchildren have even attended it." He stopped and thought about the days he spent in that academy when he was younger. Especially the day he was given the nickname "The Chaotic Prince". Aidan finally snapped out of it and he looked back at Lilith. "Sorry...I was thinking back on my days in that academy." he said scratching the back of his head.

Lilith calmly stepped out of the black limousine, lightly glaring at the chauffeur with an accordingly bored expression to him. Lilith's hair had been tied up and she had a cloth around her chest for a more masculine and less feminine appearance, having had her nails clipped short and omitting any feminine accessories such as earrings or any makeup of either sort that, while she didn't care to wear, was still made sure not to wear. Lilith had her breath prepared and throat prepared in case she had needed to speak as her brother, who she felt ridiculous for following along. She looked back from the chauffer to the school, quickly studying any exposed or obvious details. The most alarming quality of the building was its size. It, in addition, seemed to be made with a high enough budget. The building had appeared clean and stable, definitely. Lilith listened to her brother but only nodded back, beginning her walk towards the school.

Lilith followed her brother into the auditorium, noting the appearance and primary details of the students she would be able to see before sitting down. On the podium, being the epitome of the auditorium, Lilith saw the Headmaster, noting his appearance and voice to remember them in case she needs him. As her brother noticed, she also established the generally posh demography of the school, not contrasting with what Lilith had anticipated.

Headmaster Lane finished speaking by dismissing the students, according to gender, to acquire their fitting uniforms. Lilith didn't mind wearing a male's uniform, giving her a potential advantage over her brother, who may have minded wearing a woman's uniform.

She walked to the right, stepping to get her stylishly light blue blazer and uniform, because the blazer was alien to the entire uniform. Lilith quickly transported herself to the dressing room, getting dressed in a manner as to make sure other people had no manner of seeing her lowest layer of clothes. As she finished getting dressed, she prepared to leave the room, being on her way out.

Lilith left the room in the male uniform, being unbelievably rapid in finding her brother, as they'd grown to recognize eachother in their opposite genders. Lilith slowly ran to Lewis, ignoring the surrounding people and greeting him with a faint smile.

"Hello, Lilith. How are you feeling on the first day?" She asked, continuously oblivious of the three other people around.

Emily didn't show any sort of surprise when the girl suddenly spoke to her, as she had been too busy listening to the song that had finally ended. It was then did she come back to focus, and payed attention tot he girl who then spoke again, "Did you want something?" She glanced from her headphones and back to the girl. "I was simply curious...What was that song you were listening to? I have never heard anything of the sort before." She asked in a much less ruff manner than the girl.

Charlotte gave the girl a curious look, raising an eyebrow in slight surprise when she confessed to not knowing what rock music was. Charlotte had naturally been expecting the students to all be prim and proper and polite with neatly combed hair (unlike her own which was, quite frankly, a mess) and likely hadn’t worked a day in their lives. Charlotte swallowed the snarky comment she had been about to say and thought better of it, thinking it a bad idea to make enemies of any of these people.

“It’s called rock music,” she said simply, trying not to sound as annoyed as she felt “I guess it’s what your rich parents mistake for Satanism or something, which it isn’t by the way.”

She twirled the loose headphone about her finger for a moment feeling the need to fiddle with something while she stood there, wondering when they’d be moving on from here. Now that her eyes where open and her music wasn’t making her deaf to the world around her Charlotte was able to spy another boy close by playing with a bass, presumably attracted by the music from her iPod as well.

Have I become a magnet for music geeks all of a sudden? She thought, staring at the boy.

"Rock...Music..." Emily repeated. Due to her appearance, and the way that she spoke it was obvious she was one of the undesirables her parents warned her to stay away from. "No need to have such uncultured friends.", her mother had spoke to her the day before her going off to school. Of course it was over the phone as she was hardly home, and only lasted for 3 minutes at the most. Because Emily was busy listening to the rock music while it was playing she didn't notice a boy come over and play his bass gutair, in an attempt to imitate the bass gutair on the song. Emily only looked over to him when the girl did.

"Why do they call it rock music? Do they use rocks in their recitals?" Emily asked, apparently having no idea at all about other kinds of music.
