Volcanasaurus is tight, it wins games and runs over Gorz with its delicious mindblowing.

If you are not being heard, you are not doing things correctly. Seize control, blow up the situation, and win.

I'm about as far from "poser" as anyone could get on YCM. As it was once said, I'm Draco f***ing Straybyrn.

You know, just so we're clear.

Tell that to M.B.X.

I explained calmly, they hurled insults. I got told The Tricky was a good card modern day, like Kycoo, and I was stupid if I didn't think so, after EXPLAINING. Facts don't work on some people, sadly.

I know who you are, and, frankly my dear, I don't give a damn. You're still a poser. Name one of your ideas for the site that helped, and don't begin to claim IPB or Debates.

Both of those, and everything before I got banned? And me getting banned? Ask anyone who was around back then. Dan, Jerry, Reece, Calle, Mazen, Aaron, Kramer, Eli...

IPB and Debates were terrible ideas, and that's very vague.

No, they weren't. Let me be very clear about that.

Invision Power Board is the very best quality and most capable forum software on the internet to date. 3.2 is an incredibly powerful, incredibly awesome update to an already fantastic forum software that gives a lot of power to both administrators and users when handled correctly. The potential is nearly infinite and REALLY cool. What's the problem with using it in this environment? Well, simple. Neither administrator is very active frontside at all and there appear to be little to no changes on the backend aside from random optimization for the sole sake of uptime and ad revenue. That's why it doesn't work. If YCMaker or Falling Pizza would get off their sorry seats then maybe some cool stuff would actually happen and things would get better. Maybe. Administrating a community is a lot of work, I understand that better than probably any of you, but it's hard to sympathize when there is really no visible outcome.

The Debates forum is essentially more of that. I was lined up to be its moderator before the SD Dueler incident, but we all know how that went down and it's stupid to fight about it either way because the all-holy moderators have blessed me with this newfound opportunity (albeit after achieving stalemate), and for that I am truly thankful. Seriously. If done properly, the Debates forum could be a nest of intelligence among a world of crazy, thoughtless nonsense. It could be calm, it could be collected, it could consist of coherent thought. Instead, everybody and their brothers' topics get approved and nobody looks over the formality of discussion nor the content until somebody hits a report button (which I hear is not very frequent). Therein lies the problem. Again, simple fix, just requires effort.

Now for the fun part, the ad hominem. The part of a post that YCMers enjoy the very most out of anything and for whatever reason they find hilarious even though life is not middle school (nor is it high school nor does social hierarchy matter whatsoever unless you're playing some stupid political game somewhere). What people seem to forget, especially you, is that words will forever hold the place over silly little notes informing someone that one person, or even multiple people, do not approve of their actions. If that's what you're looking for, there are better sites for that.

I was asked to be kind, so again, let me be clear, this is me being kind. No, but then there is you. Mr. Despair, Mr. Black, Mr. Anguish, Mr. Playing-without-sound, Mr. Please-feel-sorry-for-me-because-I-need-the-attention. I don't know why you feel like you need to tell the internet your life is so terrible through metaphors and omniscient, vague posts that attempt to look smart but fall apart into mere Straw Man arguments, but I feel sorry for you. I really, truly do. I've been to some bad places in my life, I've seen some truly despicable things, and I know what it means to feel like there is nothing and nobody worth living for.

What I also know is that looking for attention on the internet through manipulation of both popular culture and emotional distress isn't going to do you any good, it's probably going to make it any worse. If you had only internet friends and came to realize that one day, how's that going to make you feel about yourself? Can you bear that pain? Live with that knowledge? Accept that truth? If you have true friends out in the real world, those are the ones you should be talking to when you feel like you can't trust anyone else and there's nobody else out there for you. They are the ones to stick with you through thick and thin and the real, tangible memories you forge together outweigh any internet popularity contests you'll ever engage in.

What do I do? I get things done. I make plans, I strategize, I look for potential plus-points, I rally the willing and I execute them. People who have ideas and the passion to bring them into reality are the people who go far in life. They are the people who get recognized and the people who get respected. I succeed not because I take the time to write out essay-length posts but because I have the will, the passion, the drive, and the intensity. I write things like this because I can and I want to so that others may benefit from them.

So, again. If you feel like a tiny little red-dot temporary e-peen negation is really, really going to make a difference in the weight of the YCM community then I guess you should fight for it. In my personal opinion and wealth of experience in this area, it's not worth your time. You're much better off making a statement and taking a stand. Live without fear and act in confidence with passion.

So, berating someone is better than a simple neg? Also, I explained to someone just... Yesterday, or day before, why Volcasaurus > Adreus, not that you get that, and he hurled insults, and refused to listen to reason. I never insulted him, just pointed out everything wrong with why he said Adreus was better, but his ego was neither crushed, not that it was my intent, nor did he listen. In fact, he had another person rep him for not listening, because it was "oppressive" to tell him how he was wrong.

I don't envy ANYONE on this site. Not one bit. I never liked Crab, Dark's, and I find you to be a giant poser.

If your negging him for being insulting and flaming you could easily just report the post. If it is because you think he's being stupid for not thinking Adreus to be the better card (any difference between the two seems minor at best) then that is stupid. Same goes for Tricky. While it isn't amazing, it is solid for setting up the yard and getting out Rank 5 XYZ.

lololol.

So if something is pointless, then why does it matter if we get it?

If people don't have any serious objections, then it seems that the only logical thing to do is to re-instate neg reps, as it gives those who want it back what they wanted, and those who dont care wont care.
It honestly doesn't, and that is why I really don't care if they get brought back.

Just if YCMaker actually wants to do something for the site he has better things to do then add something that doesn't really have much value.

As mentioned by Flame (:D) there are better things to be done and better things to spend time discussing.

If I'm not mistaken, the way it's put in the OP is that it's literally the click of a button... Pretty sure that's not going to get too much in the way of the rest of this site's seemingly endless list of acclaimed problems.

I'm only here because Mat is an attention whore who linked this on his fb >=[

Also damn kids, I remember how neg reps would cause people to start flame wars and petty arguments. You're missing out on a lot of funny s*** without it.

It doesn't matter why, your presence alone makes YCMaker come online! XP

Eh...it doesn't really matter to me, I could care less about reps/likes. Just take it all away.

This troll topic.

It just doesn't end.

Come to think of it, there was a topic like this and got locked we moved on. Then, this popped up and we start arguing while Topic Creator didn't post a thing. TC is a successful troll -_-
