Hey guys. I did today an other Custom Structure Deck. This time, it is oriented around the Crystal Beast monsters. As usual, I posted a decklist, while also added 5 totally new cards (as official Structures do).

The Structure Deck:
MONSTERS
1 Crystal Beast Obsidian Lion (*)
1 Crystal Beast Azure Wolf (*)
1 Crystal Beast Quartz Rabbit (*)
1 Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth
1 Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat
1 Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle
1 Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise
1 Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle
1 Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus
1 Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger
1 Chain Dog
1 Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings
1 Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo
1 Gigantes
1 Neo-Spacian Grand Mole
1 Rainbow Dragon
1 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
1 Summoner Monk

SPELLS
1 Crystal Connection (*)
1 Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins
1 Crystal Abundance
1 Crystal Beacon
1 Crystal Blessing
1 Crystal Promise
1 Crystal Release
1 Crystal Tree
1 Dark Hole
1 Gold Sarcophagus
1 Rare Value
1 Spiritual Forest
1 Wild Nature's Release
1 Z-ONE

TRAPS
1 Crystal Break (*)
1 Battle Instinct
1 Beast Soul Swap
1 Crystal Pair
1 Rainbow Gravity
1 Rainbow Life
1 Rainbow Path
1 Horn of the Phantom Beast
Now the cards:

Crystal Beast Obsidian Lion
Monster/Effect
Beast
DARK, LV7
ATK 2600
DEF 2100
Eff: Send 2 "Crystal Beast" card from your Spell & Trap Card Zone: Special Summon this card from your hand. While this card is face-up on the field: "Crystal Beast" cards on your Spell & Trap Card Zone cannot be destroyed by card effects. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Crystal Beast Azure Wolf
Monster/Effect
Beast
EARTH, LV4
ATK 2100
DEF 1000
Eff: Discard this card: add 1 "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" from your Deck to your hand. If this card is on the field but "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" is not: destroy this card. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone (except by its own effect), you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Crystal Beast Quartz Rabbit
Monster/Effect
Beast
EARTH, LV3
ATK 800
DEF 400
Eff: Once per turn: send 1 "Crystal Beast" card from your Spell & Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from your Graveyard. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Crystal Connection
Spell/Normal
Send 1 "Crystal Beast" card from your Spell & Trap Card Zone: add 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from your Deck.

Crystal Break
Trap/Normal
Destroy 1 "Crystal Beast" monster on your side of the field: send 1 card from your opponent's side of the field to the Graveyard.

PROMO
Crystal Beast Azure Dolphin
Monster/Synchro
Aqua
WATER, Level 8
ATK 2000
DEF 1700
Eff: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Crystal Beast" monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: you can destroy cards on the field up to the number of non-Tuner Synchro Material Monsters used for this card's Synchro Summon; then Special Summon as many "Crystal Beast" monsters as possible from your Graveyard, up to the number of cards destroyed by this effect. Once per turn: you can place 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from your hand, Graveyard or Deck to your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

As far as the deck goes, most of it is OK. The spell and traps are fine; it's just the Scrap Monsters and Koa'ki Meru Ice that don't fit:
- The Scraps don't really fit. Scrap Dragon may be powerful in a Crystal Beast deck, but without an extra deck they don't achieve much apart from getting a +1 with small beaters. Beast acts as a level 4 tuner for the deck, having synergy with both the beast support and the dragon, but Chimera doesn't see use.
- Ice is fragile - You have just 2 continuous spells for it's maintenance cost, so it would be hard to keep it around.

On the new cards:

Lion is nice - it's a much more practical boss than Rainbow Dragon. It lacks any real utility on the field, although protecting your backrow is helpful to build it up. You should probably consider making it only special summonable by it's effect, or need to be summoned by it first, to limit abuse by the effects of the Crystal Beasts spells.

Wolf is useful as a field searcher, and 1900 ATK makes it useful, but the no SS clause ruins it. It's nowhere near as abusable as Lion. If it functioned the way the other searchers of field spells without ATK boosts did, then it would be more understandable, but then the self-destruction would be abusable with the continuous spell effect.

Rabbit seems to be a worse Carbuncle. Lacking any real stats, the only thing you can do is grab a Carbuncle to swarm or a Cat/Tortoise/Rabbit for an Xyz. Maybe you could summon a Pegasus to get another CB as a spell. At the very least, make it work with Flip Summons, or anytime it's flipped face-up, so it can be used with Hamster (or even any summon or flip), and consider making it somewhere other than the S/T zone, since summons from there are covered.

Connection is Fine. The ability to search out the Beast you need is helpful. The -1 hurts it slightly, but it's still usable. It doesn't say where the card goes to though, so that needs adding.

Break is OK, but not overly impressive. It's situational, since it need a Crystal Beast in both a monster and a spell/trap zone, and it's just an Icarus clone. Maybe if it sent opponent's cards, rather than destroying them, it would be slightly more interesting, and sending a crystal beast from anywhere, without the activation condition, would make it more usable. Also, there's no destination for the Crystal Beast.

Thank you for the helps. Did the following fixes:

- Lion is Semi-Nomi
- Wolf is typical Field Searcher (but don't go to the S/T zone if it was destroyed by this eff)
- Rabbit searches from the Deck
- Break destroys the CB, and sends the selected card to the Grave, but only 1.

Also removed the mentioned cards and added others (Gigantes, Grand Mole and Chain Dog).

EDIT:

- Lion is not Semi-Nomi anymore (just really bad if it cannot be Summoned by Pega-Promise)
- Rabbit bumps from S/T zone to Summon from Grave.

Rainbow Dragon is a baddie, though I love the cards you made!
Rabbit brings out Carbuncle which rapes your opponent's face. My friend would love these cards, biggest Crystal Beast fan I have seen.
As for the Structure Deck, add an expensive staple. I see Dark Hole but many people would have it, usually the reason for structures is A ) New cards for archetype which may revive it or B ) Good staples included! (Solemn Judge, Torrential, Book of Moon, etc.)

Thanks! Your comment is appreciated! *like*

I know Rainbow Dragon is only a meh card, but a common reprint is always appreciated, especially for collectors.

All of the new cards can help the concept. While Lion is good for beatdown Decks, Wolf is for a more control-oriented version, while Rabbit can be good for Exceed variants.

I know that Structures usually do a reprint of an already existing, but expensive cards (like Kristya in OCG), so did the following changes:

-1 Dweller in the Depths
+1 Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo

EDIT:

-1 Super-Nimble Mega Hamster
+1 Gold Sarcophagus
