Jason began laughing as he managed to catch the crossbow bolt (with help from his Eagle Sense) and grabbed the leg of the dummy as he threw it in the direction the crossbow bolt came from. Obviously being forced to stop aiming his Hidden Gun at the other Templar. His strength made him capable of throwing the dummy some distance away from the battlefield. "I had a suspicion it wasn't going to be that easy." Jason stated as he turned his attention to the other Templar "Okay, I let her go." Jason joked "Now then, are we going to do this peacefully, or are we going to have to shed more blood?" Jason asked.

Elena wasn't in her office anymore, not after what she had heard: the Assassins, the people she despised so much, were in the open and vunerable. And being the person who she was, she had immediately stepped into her Spark Armor, the form fitting undersuit attaching the the solid, dense, ad extremelly lethal Giga-steel plating. Grasping her sword, the voice distortion device kicked in, and with a huge hiss of steam from the exhaust vents, she grasped a huge container and placed it into clear sight for Cellizar's usage. Then she placed a note onto the container: "This is my stock of the alloy. Do not use all of it. My armor's mainly used of this, and supplies are to be used sparingly. As soon as I can collect the formula, use this sparingly. Just because you are a Templar doesn't mean I won't use my armor against you."

And she stormed out, lower Templar's driving a van, her in the back, to the spot where this all was going underway. "Time to turn the tide."

And like clockwork, Arn had received the firections from Serina. He didn't want to leave his team behind, but if he didn't they could lose a lot more than just this fight. "Matt, listen to me carefully." He said as he reved the engine. "You're still training, so I cannot allow you to enter this fight at this time. Please understand, what would your brother do..." Falling silent he lowered his head to his deceased comrad. "He was an amazing assassin, and you have his blood within you. Matt, if I learnt one thing from him, it was to think. Think, and think again. He always made his moves carefully, tactical. So, if we are to succeed, you need to stay with me, and we need to get to this new HQ."

Looking back at Serina and Jason, Arn knew that they would cope. "Serina...I've got to get Matt safe, and the Animus. I know each one of you will do fine, but...if this is farewell...you served as a proud assassin." Then he shouted back "JASON! FINISH THESE TEMPLARS OFF!", throwing him his pistol. Triggerably automatic, giga-steel ammo, he knew if anyone, Jason would put it to good use. And with that, he said "Matt, make your choice. Come with me, or stay behind and fight."

"for your sake Erin, just hope you remember my name when you get back to HQ. it's Anthony.", he said, getting back on his motorbike and driving off. he then thought, what if she dies as well? surely i should stay behind and help., still keeping the bike steady, he revved it up then went faster, reaching HQ in a matter of half an hour. "she better come back...for now, i should try to get my rifle fixed.", he said to himself, walking into the repairs department in the HQ. "fix it...and fast. i need a scope on this, i'm borrowing a helicopter.", he snapped, waiting impatiently.

Matt looked away and then gritted his teeth. "F-Fine..." he said, feeling like he was completely useless now. He stayed with Arn and then quickly thought of something that he didn't before. "Arn, I know where we can go..." Matt whispered with a smirk. "I took a few smoke bombs from the HQ...we can use them to escape here and head to my foster parent's place." He thought about when he was there at their place, cause basically his foster parents told him what to do about being an assassin. "I know its risky...but I trust them, since they told me how to do a few moves..."

Arn's eyes jolted back to Matt's as he heard his proposal. "Wh-what? We need to-..." Then he took a moment to concerntrate, think about it. "Well, the others will be heading for Serina's home, but I suppose we can contact them, can't we?" And with that, Arn reved the engine and speeded down the hgihway, bidding goodbye to his Assassin brothers, and sister, for alongside Matt the pair headed down to his foster parent's home. "You'll have to give me directions Matt, I don't know where we are heading." And to further ensure the sfatey of the two Assassins, Arn placed down a jamming device. After a little screech in his ear, the bluetooth piece had shut down. "We're in a dead spot. The Templars won't find us now, we're safe."

Matt nodded and then looked around for a second. "Alright turn left and then after words make another left and you'll see a lone house with a huge oak tree in the front yard." he said, remembering where and the description of his foster parent's house. "Arn...how well did you know my brother? Everyone says they heard of him...but it sounds like you were working with him on a few occasions." Come to think of it, Matt always did remember hearing John talk to his friend "Arnold" on his phone a couple of times...then again, that wasn't any ordinary phone either.

"Got it." Arn replied to Matt's instructions, speeding up a notch to ensure no Templar could even dare catch up to the pai as they speeded along the roads. Eventually as he turned left, he let out a sigh. "John...he was...it's hard to explain. Let's get off this thing alive first, then I'll go into detail." And so he made the next turn gently, and like Matt said, he saw the house standing alone, the oak tee out at he front. "Here's the place, right?" He said as he pulled up next to the building, skiding to become paralel to it. "Okay then, let's get indoors." He said as he looked around. "John never told me about this place. Nice."

"Guess he didn't want any Templar to find it..." Matt said hopping off the bike and then running to the front door. He knocked on it three times, in a code like manner and whispered: "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." Then he saw the door open and saw an older gentleman wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

"Matt...knew it was a matter of time before you came back. Get inside..." the man said ushering them inside.

Matt walked in and then looked around at the house and then at Arn, before looking at the gentleman. "Um, dad is John's room still have his stuff in it?" After seeing the man nod, he ran upstairs, having Arn follow him.

after his rifle had been fixed and modified, he walked over to the lift, and selected the fourth floor. he waited, and waited, until the lift opened, then walked over to the vehicle specialist. "a helicopter. now. i'm going on a sniping spree so make it snappy. meet me on the roof.", he snapped, walking back over to the lift and selecting the roof. he waited, and waited again, then it opened once more. he stood there impatiently for about half an hour until the helicopter showed up. "you're late.", he snarled, getting into the helicopter with his rifle in his hand, flying away to the last location he went to.

As Arn was quick footed getting indoors as the elderly man shutted it tightly, he looked around humbled, the place where one of his closest allies was raised. Closing his eyes for a brief moment as Matt asked his question, he took a moment of silence in respect for John Mercer, whispering to himself "Rest in peace, fallen comrad.", and followed Matt's lead upstairs patiently as he was lead to John's room.

Arn stood there, in the room of John Mercer, with John's younger brother next to him. He felt odd. "Alright, I'll tell you what I can about me and John." He said in his patient manner, looking at the young Assassin. "The first thing to know is he lived his life honouring and abiding to our ways, a true assassin. He was courageous, tactical. He taught me to think deeper than thought itsef, to look into deeper things. We both enhanced our Eagle Vision together into it's newer and superior form, Jason shares this too. But John helped me a lot. We were good friends, back to back in many cases, but together we were unstoppable." Then he let out a sigh. "But I know little of his death. He disappeared once, and never came back."

"That part I can fill in..." Matt said with a sigh. "He picked me up from school and men in a white unmarked van were shooting at us. He quickly gave me his necklace and kicked me out of the car in a nearby alley." He clenched his fists and then looked up at the ceiling. "I didn't see how he died...but I saw a body with an Abstergo uniform on the ground near my brother's car." Matt quickly moved into his brother's room and then opened his closet. He fumbled for something, until he heard a click...watching the clothes move to the sides and showing a weapon's armory. "They showed me this...but told me I couldn't use them until I trained...guess I gotta use them now."

Arn looked over at Matt and shook his head. "No, you need to learn one last thing Matt before you're ready." Arn then threw his briefcase onto the bed and unclipped it, opening it up and showing him the emblem of the Assassins. "This is what many call a group. This is what many call a team, an organization like the Templars, but no. They are wrong. And you know this, however I am unsure whether you have truly embraced the significance of this symbol." Anr then cleared his throat as he said "This is a lifestyle. This is a legcay of many forefathers working to stop a sinister force. And I want you, Matt, to realized just how much this meant to John. So make your brother proud and prove to me you're ready. Declare yourself Matt Mercer, Assassin for ife, from dawn till dusk, from rise to fall, summer to winter, life to death."

Matt looked at his necklace and at the Assassin's symbol that was around it. This was his brother's prized possession...whether or not he liked it, he was chosen to join the ranks. "Arn, honestly...I thought I wasn't cut out for this sort of thing. But, I know my brother had faith in me...just like all my fellow assassins." he said looking straight at Arn. "I, Matt Mercer, the brother of the late John Mercer...have declared myself an Assassin. Whatever happens to me, may it be something the brotherhood would be proud of."

on the helicopter, he started scanning for the wherabouts of Erin, and then the Assassins he was fighting 45 minutes ago. "damn...where did they go? I could have sworn they were here. Keep on taking me north, we might find them in a place that we least expected!", he shouted at the pilot, still scanning his surroundings in case one was still down there. "they're not here! keep on going that way! it is the only possible way that they could have gone!", he shouted, trying to contend with the noise the helicopter was making, still scanning his surroundings closely.

Serina let out a sigh of relief as the Templar left. She quickly got up and ran to the motorcycle, pulling out the suitcase and samples she grabbed for Arn. "Jason, lets get out of here before more Templars come!" She jumped off of the highway and onto a building. She cascaded down to more buildings until she was on a busy sidewalk. As she stood there and waited for Jason, the adrenaline started to wear off. "Uhn... Do.. Do I have a broken rib from earlier?" she poked her side and twitched. "Yep... Broken rib.. And this wound from the crossbow's not helping with the pain.." She looked to her left shoulder, where the crossbow bolt ripped through earlier. Luckily, it most 'skimmed' her shoulder and not go straight through it. She ripped some of her shirt off and bandaged it up as best as she could. When Jason finally caught up, they started walking.

Jason placed the gun that Arn threw him in a spare case on his belt. "We need to get a car." Jason concluded. "Explain to me, where are we going?" Jason asked. Knowing well enough that they were going to Serina's parents' cabin.... or was it house? Either way, Jason knew that they needed both a car, and medical care. The first car rental they saw, Jason would immediately rent one (and probably never return it). "Serina, tell me immediately as soon as you see either a hospital or a car rental." Jason explained.

Serina nodded when something came to her. "Why not just call Arn and Matt, to see if they've made it to the cabin... The cabin has a healing tube there.." She pulled out her cell phone and dialed Arn's cell. "C'mon... C'mon! Pick up! .......... UGH! ... Arn! Answer your phone! Our motorcycle is messed up and we need a lift.." She hung up her cell and went to the internet on it. "..... A hospital is closest to us.. But is it safe to go to one? I'm sure the Templar's will think to check them.. That one saw us both bleeding..." She looked to Jason, knowing he'd know what to do.

Arn smiled as he looked at Matt. "Then that's all the proof I need. Matt, your training is complete and you are an Assassin, the Brotherhood's watchful yes has been lifted, yet it shall be there for you aways when you need it." And with that he smiled, unjamming his jammer and looking over at his phone. "A message?" : ".......... UGH! ... Arn! Answer your phone! Our motorcycle is messed up and we need a lift.."

"That doesn't sound good..."

"Where do you think you're going, scrawny Assassins!" A mechanical voice boomed as the monstrous knight from before rose out from the back of a van, smashing the doors down and charging straight for them, but suddenly halting. "I want the alloy and the blueprints." The voice of Spark boomed again as the men driving her came out and aimed their SMGs at the two Assassins. Spark had no concern for them, she wanted what she believed was rightfully hers.

Matt smiled and then turned to the weapon's armory and grabbed a few things. He grabbed knives, an upgraded Hidden Dagger, two wrist Hidden Blades, and finally a short sword katana. He looked at it and smiled, remembering how much time John spent polishing it. I'll treat it with the same respect, bro. he thought, before putting it on his side. "Arn, take what you need...we gotta help Serina and the others." Matt said, with some new found confidence, putting the his hoodie's hood over his head. "And...how do you think we should plan the attack?"

Jason pulled Arn's gun from the case as he pointed it at the Templar "I'm not entirely sure this will work, but knowing Arn he probably put giga-steel ammo in here." Jason stated as he aimed the gun at the Templar's head. Pulling the trigger he waited. Waiting to see if the Templar would fall dead, or if he would get swatted away like a fly. But if all else failed, we would hope that the Templar inside the armor weighed less than 278 pounds. Therefore he might be able to throw them.

Unlike Matt, Arn's hood never left his head, but he did search a single drawer of John's. "This...this is what he left." Anddrawing it out it was an identical copy of his own sword, except it wasn't platinum...it was much more lusterous, shiny, dense. And from Arn's smile, you could tell it was his own handywork, and therefore no other metal would be used in creation of such a masterpiece other than his own pide and joy, Giga-steel.

Swiping out his old and replacing with the new, Arn said "Matt kept hold of this for me 'till the very end. Now I'm going to use it in memory of him." Activating his bluetooth, hooking it onto his ear, the typical genius that Arn was had managed to get a blue screen infront of his eye. And hacking, hacking, some Templar symbols, and a little more hacking, Arn was viewing from the back of the van's door camera, seeing Spark and her men stand tall against Serina and Jason. "We need to move now."

And like that, Arn had made his way out the house and immediately began to rev the bike, waiting for Matt to ride with him to their Assassin allies.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________

And as the bullet soared through the air, it penetrated the helm with ease, but oddly the knight still stood tall. "Ha! You really think I'm that stupid!" And taking off the Helm, Elena's face appeared. The bullet seemed to have hit an underlaying sheet of Giga-steel, and the first was just enough to slow the bullet. "Now, fire!" She ordered as her men opened a volley of rounds at the Assassins, whilst Elena placed on her helm and charged with the heavy suitm drawing her enormous sword and swinging it overhead towards the bike.

Matt walked out of the house and turned to his foster parents. "Thank you both."

"Knock 'em dead, kiddo!" the gentlemen said with a smile.

Matt hopped on to the bike again and then put the sword Arn gave him on his back. With that, the two left the house to return back to where they're team was at. "Arn...what's the plan of attack? You distract them, I distract them? We go in guns blazin'?" he asked. He knew that one of the Templar from the HQ had a freakishly huge armor on, he'd be difficult to beat. Knowledge was the key to this victory, and if they had a plan of action...they're victory would surely be assured. John, I promise...this time, I'll be like you. Doing things by the book this time!

Serina gasped as a van suddenly stopped and that Spark chick stepped out. 'YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!' As soon as Spark demanded for the suitcase, Serina brought it up to her chest and held to it tightly. "You're not getting it!" When Jason pulled the trigger and shot at Spark, she watched the armor just as intensely as Jason did. 'Be dead, be dead, be dead, be dead, be dead!'

--------------------------------------------------------

As Cellizar finished making his new invention, using giga-steel, he got word that Spark, Anthony and a few others have arrived to Serina's location. "Perfect.." he said as he got on his bike and headed off towards the fight. As he drove, he called and told the major Templar fighters a simple message: "Kill Serina, and you might was well kill yourself.. You can harm and capture.. But not kill. GOT IT!?" He hung up and sped up.

Jason smiled "Actually yes." Jason stated as he himself ran towards Spark. Smiling he slid underneath the Templar, the bullets from the other Templars not even denting the Armor of Altair. Getting back to his feet just behind the Templar he reached for the Templar's legs, and hopefully the armor didn't weigh too much so he could throw it a good distance into the air "(Come on, come on.)" He thought as he reached for Spark's leg. He hoped the momentum of the jump would also help him with the throw, that is, if he could throw Spark.

Erin wasn't done attacking Jason just yet. As he and Serina left the battlefield, and left the dummy to explode, Erin took some to coat some of her bolts into an acid that could melt through all but a mere few materials, Giga-Steel being one of those few. She could still see Jason in his new location from where she was, but now that he had set his sights on Spark, she didn't have the time for such as anal precision that a sniper would aim for.

"EAT THIS!!" she screamed, firing a volley of the acid-coated bolts while she was at it.

Meanwhile, somewhere around Serina's location...

"In that case, then I'll fight this... Serina girl," Odin suggested to Cellizar, "It'll only be a matter of time before she'll be unable to remember why she fought us Templar in the first place. You just need hope that Erin doesn't get to her first."
